Hi,
We are developing an enterprise app which will be used by our employees and planning to host it as an Unlisted app in the App Store. This app is Intune MAM enabled and requires a Microsoft Work account (managed by our Active Directory) to login to the app. To login to the app, our employees must register to our BYOD program and once that is setup, they can login with their work email and password.
Apple requires developers to provide test accounts for the App Review process, but in this case I'm not sure how to provide them test credentials as it is a Intune MAM application and would require apple to register their test device(s) with our Company's BYOD program.
So my question is, has anyone submitted an Intune MAM enabled app to Apple App Store for Review and does Apple still require test credentials?
Thank you!

Hello, I have a client having 2 apps with same theme, color, and styles. The one is for user and the other is for administrator. The problem with administrator was rejected because of duplication issue. The apps has some feature of user's app but has additional feature only for administrator.
How to publish the administrator app in this scenario ?
Thanks

Hi,
I am trying to upload a mobile game I created for iOS app store for beta testing with friends and family through testflight. I have especially purchased a MacBook Pro running XCode 13.3.1 and Monterey 12.3.1 and an iPhone running Software version 15.4.1 to this end. My XCode deployment target is set to iOS 15.4 and my Unreal Engine 5.01 minimum iOS version in packaging is set to 15.
As far as I can tell everything is set to be as up to date version wise as possible, yet every time I try uploading the packaged game through transporter app the build won't show up in App Store Connect and I get an error email from the development team saying :
ITMS-90725: SDK Version Issue - This app was built with the iOS 14.4 SDK. All iOS apps submitted to the App Store must be built with the iOS 15 SDK or later, included in Xcode 13 or later.
Now I've emailed the team and their response was to version up and try again and look for the error in the email.
So I did that and got the exact same error and no build available on App Store Connect. I don't get it as I'm running the latest versions of everything already?
Help please...!

Hi!
I am unable to get the Apple Review team to look at my in-app purchases.
I have an already published app with some IAPs. I'm trying to add a few new ones now.
I've uploaded a new binary and submitted that to review along with the in-app purchases.
Upon the first try, my app was approved, but the IAPs were returned with: "In order to approve your new in-app purchase business model, we have to verify the purchasability of the items being sold."
I removed the already approved binary and submitted it again to review along with the IAPs, because I read somewhere else in this forum that having both the IAPs and the app "In review" at the same time will somehow get them to look at it. The app was approved again, the IAPs were "in review" for 3 days, and then they got returned again but this time the message is:
"We have returned your in-app purchase products to you as the required binary was not submitted. When you are ready to submit the binary, please resubmit the in-app purchase products with the binary."
I have specifically asked them in my review notes to also review the IAPs and provided them with a sandbox account to test.
At this point, how to get them to finally look at and approve my IAPs is beyond my comprehension.
Should I submit the IAPs first, get them approved, then submit the binary?

Hi, this is what i got from Apple.
our app includes incomplete features that users are required to use, such as login service.
Next Steps
To resolve this issue, revise your app so that it is appropriate for public distribution and provides users a complete experience. If your app is not ready for public distribution or is intended to demonstrate an app concept, use TestFlight.
So may I know that what to do next?

Hi there,
I'm having trouble registering for iTunes connect for iBooks. I'm trying to publish my books onto iBooks, however, I'm having a lot of difficulties. First, I was having trouble getting onto iBooks. Fixed that, but now when I go to register for an iTunes Connect account and put in my ID and password, I'm stuck in a loop with the enter User ID popping up over and over again. Been like this for 2 hours, I tried on my phone, different browsers, different accounts, and even a different computer. Nothing. I can't register for iTunes connect. :/
Called customer support and was on the phone for almost an hour, but no luck, and was told to try the forums. Appreciate all help, thank you!!

Hi, this is what i got from Apple.
The primary purpose of your app is to encourage users to watch ads or perform marketing-oriented tasks, which is not appropriate for the App Store.
Next Steps
We encourage you to review your app concept and incorporate different content and features that are in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines.
So may I know that what to do next?

Hello.
Last week, I submitted a review and soon, I found a bug so I removed the build from review. Then, the status should go 'Developer rejected' and I should be able to remove the binary and submit another binary.
But App Store Connect says 'You have an App Review submission cancellation in progress. You can resubmit items for review again after the cancellation is complete.'
I keep seeing this message for a week and there's nothing I can do. I cannot remove the binary from review and even review is not starting for a week.
I contacted the app review team but they said the app is really waiting for the review. But waiting for review for a week seems really strange.
Is there anything I can do at this status?

When I try to create a new title for my app i'm getting a "ERROR ITMS-2000: "Verison '3.11.3', Locale 'en-US': title cannot be edited in the current state"
Does anyone know where I can see if the Create template changed for Apple API for Apps?
Just switched from a M1 MacBook Air back to an Intel Mac mini 2018 (not sure if it matters) and in the first try to distribute an app to the App Store I got a new error.
The error states: The cloud signing service returned an invalid signature for
It is failing when signing bundled universal binaries that where already signed before and are already in the App Store, no modification to that binaries.
Replacing them with flat versions (Intel or Apple Silicon ones) works properly and the distribution process completes, but obviously the universal ones are needed.
The error asks to fill a bug report but being familiar to bug reporting I know I can get some feedback tomorrow, in two years or never.
Anyone else found this one? Any idea what can fix this or the best way to get in touch with Apple for a prompt fix?

Recently I tried to submit an app for review and selected 3rd option under "Version Release" section to release my app, i.e Automatically release this version after App Review, no earlier than
Date of submission: May 4, 2022
Here I selected May 6, 2022, to automatically release my app but I couldn't get to save those settings and submit my app for review.
I have attached a screenshot of the error in network logs when trying to save with the above settings.

Hey,
So me and my team are developing an app to be on the apple app store, now we wanted to first release the app on an invite-only option or to be invited by an existing user,
I have read before that this is not possible because it will break a few guidelines,
So my question before we decide to go that route,
We wanted to know if it was possible and if it's not how did the new app Clubhouse did it with more than 90k downloads?
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/id1503133294
can anyone explain how do we do it without breaking the guidelines?

I am currently getting an error on the App Store Connect page that says: "These in-app purchases can’t be promoted on the App Store because your latest approved binary doesn’t include the SKPaymentTransactionObserver method." However, my latest approved binary includes that method.
How is it possible that App Store Connect is saying something doesn't exist when it does exist? Is this just more of Apple anti-competitive, malicious practices or should I chalk this up to an accidental "glitch"? One has huge legal implications. For instance, one event means the App Review team can just make up whatever they want in terms of rejections on the frontend by un-hooking the backend. Then, they can modify the page. The other means the software engineers at a Fortune 50 company are trash (unlikely) or they've been hacked (more likely).
I have added the photos of both my implementation and the dialog the App Store Connect is showing me.
Any solution would be much appreciated.

Good day to all,
It's been 4 times that my app hasn't passed the review for the following reason:
"We still found that your in-app purchase products exhibited one or more bugs when reviewed on iPad running iOS 15.4.1 on Wi-Fi.
Specifically, there was no response when we tapped on any in-app purchase product.
NextSteps
When validating receipts on your server, your server needs to be able to handle a production-signed app getting its receipts from Apple's test environment. The recommended approach is for your production server to always validate receipts against the production App Store first. If validation fails with the error code "Sandbox receipt used in production," you should validate against the test environment instead.
Resources
You can learn more about testing in-app purchase products in your development sandbox environment in App Store Connect Developer Help.
For more information on receipt validation, please see What url should I use to verify my receipt? in the In-App Purchase FAQ.
Learn how to generate a receipt validation code in App Store Connect Developer Help."
I don't understand why the reviewer can't buy a product when I tested the app with an snbox ID and in the flight test and I didn't encounter any problems on iPad pro IOS 15.4.1, iPhone SE (second generation) iOS 14, ...
I'm using Unity and have tried with less code and coding in C#. Both are working on my end but the reviewer can't purchase.
I even attached a video in the "Information useful for verifying the app" section to allow the reviewer to see that it works on my side
Has anyone ever encountered the problem?
Regards,
Bilu

Does anyone know if there is a way to escalate a developer support issue? I have been unable to submit app updates for months now due to a bug in App Store Connect that Apple support has acknowledged but has no fix for. Our app is dead in the water now and they are not helping or giving any indication of if/when it will be fixed.

I get this error when I try to apply any treatment in Product Page Optimization. I already have screenshots for the primary language. Still haven't received any solutions from the support team.
Unable to Apply Treatment
You must upload at least one screenshot for the primary language of your app before this treatment can be applied to the following:

Since April 1, 2022, the App Review Team and App Review Board have been consistently rejecting my app, the reason being,
"Guideline 4.3 - Design
We continue to find that your app provides the same feature set as other apps submitted to the App Store; it simply varies in content or language, which is considered a form of spam."
This is 100% false because my app has unique features not found on other apps on the App Store.
The strange part is the supposedly similar apps don't even offer the features that my app offers yet those apps are able to get their app submissions approved. I should also mention those apps were published after mine.
I have provided screenshots, video demos, source code, spoken to App Review team and they are still rejecting the app because of 4.3.0.
It appears they are overlooking the information I've been providing and responding with generic responses.
Should I file a complaint with the BBB? It's evident that selective bias and unfair treatment is happening with the App Review Team and App Review Board.
I've exhausted all options and I need advice on what to do next.
I've spent too much money and effort to have the app stuck in this endless cycle of rejections.

Hi guys. I have a few problems regarding my apps approval. Currently I'm developing a few apps for specific company for a non public user. However, the apps keep getting rejected because it is not for public. The solution that have been suggested is, I use business manager account. However, the apps is still being rejected because for this solution, only the Apps that have the same ID as the company can be downloaded in the Apps Store. Thus, can you guys advice me how to get my apps approved through Apps Store.
