Overview

In our application we are using OTP login. When accessibility full keyboard access is enabled, and we are trying to enter OTP in the OTP field that time in iOS 17 focus is moving to the next text field accordingly but in iOS 18 focus is staying the first OTP field only and not moving to the next text field.

I did not proceed after this because I was not sure what deactivation would mean for the files on the computer. On it there is code written in Swift that needs to be preserved. If the deactivation is done will the files be preserved, and be accessible? Or does a deactivation remove all files?

Is there any way to lock the clock in Standby so it doesn't change? It is so frustrating when I put the phone on the charger and have to scroll back and forth, trying to find the clock I would like to use all the time.

Sometimes, when I close the lid using the MacOs version Sequoia 15.2, with the configuration to require a password for 5 seconds, the system does not ask for the password as expected. This happens sometimes even though nothing preventing the system from sleeping when you close and open the lid, but it still seems like a security concern. In our application we are using a pop over view and we have enabled the accessibility VoiceOver, When user navigating inside the popover and reached to the last element that time with the right swipe we need to dismiss the popover.

In our application we are using UITableView for data population and that TableView cell contains a button. When we are enabling full keyboard access that time only TableView cell is focusing not the button. We need to focus on cell and button differently.

In our application we are using a Search bar in a pop over view and we have enabled Accessibility full keyboard access and we are using external keyboard. Now if the focus is on Searcher that time by next Tab key press Search bar will dismiss and focus needs to shift to the next UIElement.

Since updating Xcode to 16.2 I get the following message when attempting to build the project. SWIFT_VERSION '' is unsupported, supported versions are: 4.0, 4.2, 5.0, 6.0. The issue I have is that the project is pure objective-c. There is zero Swift code in the project so am struggling to understand why this error is being generated. Welcome assistance. Graeme

I am looking for a lightweight server that can run inside an app. The key requirement is that it must support local IP communication over HTTPS. I have searched Google and found several frameworks, but as far as I know, support for HTTPS in this environment has been discontinued or is no longer available. So I got charged the annual developer fee on December 2024, and then again this February 2025. Worse, a few days after getting charged twice, I received an email from Apple saying my developer account subscription has been suspended due to failure in paying the annual fee. I already submitted a support ticket to Apple, but I haven't gotten a response yet. Is there something else I can do? Would appreaciate any help. Thanks!

I'm looking for confirmation on the security aspects of fdesetup authrestart when used on a FileVault-enabled Mac. As I understand it, this command temporarily stores the decryption key in memory to allow the system to restart without requiring manual entry of the FileVault password. However, I have a few security-related concerns: Storage of the Decryption Key: Where exactly is the key stored during an authenticated restart? Is it protected within the Secure Enclave (for Apple Silicon Macs) or the T2 Security Chip on Intel Macs? Key Lifetime & Wiping: At what point is the decryption key erased from memory? Does it persist in any form after the system has fully rebooted? Protection Against Physical Attacks: If an attacker gains physical access to the machine before the restart completes, is there any possibility that they could extract the decryption key from memory? Cold Boot Attack Resistance: Is there any risk that advanced forensic techniques (such as freezing RAM to retain data) could be used to recover the decryption key after issuing an authenticated restart? Malware Resistance: Could a compromised system (e.g., root access by an attacker) intercept or misuse the decryption key before the restart? I understand that on Apple Silicon and T2-equipped Macs, FileVault keys are tied to hardware-based encryption, making unauthorized access difficult. However, I'd like to confirm whether Authenticated Restart introduces any new risks compared to a standard FileVault-enabled boot process.

I am using Xcode 15.2. I am loading a URL in a WKWebView, but a hand cursor appears above the web view. Scrolling up and down does not work. I tried adjusting the scroll bounds and isUserInteractionEnabled, but the hand cursor is still visible. How can I fix this?

I am having issues deploying my iOS app, that uses ShazamKit, to get working on a Mac with Apple silicon. When uploading the archive to App Store Connect I do get ITMS-90863: Macs with Apple silicon support issue - The app links with libraries that aren’t present in macOS: /usr/lib/swift/libswiftShazamKit.dylib Is ShazamKit not supported for iOS apps that can run on Macs with Apple silicon? Or is there something I should fix in my setup / deployment?

Hi, I'm working on a game for the past few years using first Unreal Engine 4, and now Unreal Engine 5.4.4. I'm experiencingan unusual crash on startup on some devices . The crash is so fast that I'm barely able to see the launching screen sometimes because the app closes itself before that. I got a EXC_CRASH (SIGABRT) so I know that it's a null pointer reference, but I can't quite wrap my head about the cause, I think that's something messed up in the packaging of the app, but here is where I'm blocked, I'm not that accustomed with apple devices. In my company, we are keeping a log of the monthly session numbers of our app which is hosted in the AppStore. We have noticed a sharp decline in the numbers over a certain range of numbers and want to find out which users are not returning and cater to their needs to better our app. From where can we get those numbers? AppStoreConnect does not provide this data. Is there any API for this? Any help will be much appreciated.
