Privileged Helper is denied permission to open raw device
Hello, appreciate any help here. Objective: perform a scoped write to a removable block device (using low-level system frameworks in C). Issue: launchd-run privileged helper (as root) denied permission to open block device. Manual 'sudo ./helper' call succeeds, however. Importantly: the entire process works flawlessly if the main app is granted Full Disk Access in Privacy & Security. However, this should be completely unnecessary for this objective, as scoped access should be sufficient, and FDA is in fact not required for other apps which perform this task. Architecture and flow: Main GUI process collects ISO path and target removable device path (queried via IOKit). Main GUI process installs a Privileged Helper via SMJobBless. The Privileged Helper is started on demand by launchd as root (UID 0, EUID 0). Main GUI process communicates selected ISO and device paths to Privileged Helper via XPC. Privileged Helper conducts security and sanity checks, unmounts volumes from target device via DiskArbitration.

Reply to How can I cancel my TestFlight build subscription purchase?
Hello - For the situation you describe, the only possible mechanism for cancelling the subscription purchased in a TestFlight build using a production user account is to have your app call and present the App Store manage subscriptions sheet within the app itself, as documented here. Without that in-app capability, you must wait for the Sandbox subscription to cycle through its expected six (6) renewals before automatically cancelling, as documented here. If the Sandbox subscription purchased through your TestFlight app is not automatically cancelling after 6 renewals as expected, you can provide us with more details (the app name/id, a Sandbox transaction ID, etc.) and we can investigate further to see if the renewals and cancellations are not behaving as expected. Thank you.

Reply to Enterprise account
Is there a better mechanism for this? We have been trying for 6 months to get an Enterprise Account - We have less than 100 employees, but we are contracting for a company that has a few thousand employees, who wants to MDM the app internally. The web pages to sign up keep kicking the application back, and every time we get an email from a person, it is obvious that no one is actually reading the application. The company we are contracting for logistical reasons CAN NOT USE TESTFLIGHT. They absolutely need it to be an enterprise build. Is there a better link than the one provided, because it’s very frustrating.

Reply to Safe areas ignored after navigating a WebView/WebPage back in a NavigationStack
I filed a bug report (FB20465338) but I also want to note some more details here in case this is useful to someone: When navigating back/forward in a WebView or WKWebView, the page suddenly jumps up. The reason appears to be that WebKit automatically adds some padding to the top of the webpage to account for the unsafe nav bar area, but it then forgets to account for this padding when navigating back/forward. The effect is especially pronounced if you swipe back/forward. When swiping you see a static preview of the incoming page, but when you release the swipe, the page suddenly jumps up. As far as I can tell, this has always been an issue, but before iOS 26 it wasn't really a problem because the WebView would usually be flush against a solid nav bar. However, in iOS 26, this bug is problematic because Apple is asking us to flow the web content behind the nav bar; indeed, this is the default behavior of a WebView. There's effectively no good solution in iOS 26 because you basically have two

How to Handle IME Not Generating Receipt in Sandbox IAP
Question: In the sandbox environment, I attempted to perform an In-App Purchase within an IME (Input Method Extension) using a sandbox test account. The purchase flow completed successfully, and I received the success callback. However, I encountered an issue: no receipt file is generated. I tried checking with both the main app’s bundle and the IME’s bundle, but the receipt file was not found in either case. When I attempted to refresh the receipt using SKReceiptRefreshRequest, it failed with an exception (error code: 0). I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this issue.

Issues with Promotional Offers — Purchase Fails or Discount Not Applied
I am developing and testing Apple Promotional Offers and encountered issues during implementation. Purchase Failure When using the following API, the promotional purchase sheet is displayed, but after attempting payment, the transaction fails. API: public static func promotionalOffer( offerID: String, keyID: String, nonce: UUID, signature: Data, timestamp: Int ) -> Product.PurchaseOption Observed behavior: Alert shows: Unable to Purchase [Environment: Xcode] Not Eligible for Offer Console logs: AMSErrorDomain Code=305 ASDErrorDomain Code=3903 Discount Not Applied When calling this API, there are no errors, but the promotional price is not applied, and the user still sees the original price. API: public static func promotionalOffer( _ offerID: String, compactJWS: String ) -> [Product.PurchaseOption] Questions Does Promotional Offers support testing with .storekit files in Xcode? Can Promotional Offers be tested with sandbox accounts using real offers configured in App Store Connect? How should I

Can’t change Primary Language — blocked by “for each version” even after deleting all CPPs (8 weeks, 10+ replies)
For ~8 weeks (10+ support replies) I’ve been unable to switch my app’s Primary Language from en-CA to en-US. App Store Connect shows: “Primary Locale couldn’t be saved because you must first provide all the required screenshots for each version in this language.” State: Default product page has complete iPhone + iPad screenshots for en-US and en-CA (live/approved). Issue began before any CPP existed; I have since removed all CPPs. Error persists, which suggests a stale/ghost CPP localization still being validated, or other issues. Questions: What does “for each version” precisely validate (live / in-prep / historical; default vs CPP)? Can deleted/never-approved CPPs still be validated, and how can they be purged? Anyone seen this after CPP removal—what fixed it? Happy to DM an Apple Staffer the case ID, a HAR of the failed save, and a short screen recording. Thanks! P.S. This has been open for ~8 weeks; I’m seeking an engineering-owned view to identify the specific unmet validator requirement or confirm a pro

403 Forbidden error
Hello Apple Developer Support, I am facing an issue when attempting to use the App Store Connect API with my API key. While basic access (e.g., /v1/apps) works correctly, any requests related to Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles (CIP) are failing with a 403 Forbidden error. OnDemand not applying after profile switch
We currently have a PacketTunnelProvider providing a VPN connection to managed devices. Our profile locks this down with OnDemandEnabled and OnDemandUserOverrideDisabled set to true. We've had reports of the OnDemand feature not kicking in on macOS when switching profiles or creating new profiles for managed users (but this works for the initial user login). When switching profiles, OnDemand does not enable; however, if the user manually enables the VPN and then disables, OnDemand will now correctly turn the connection back on. The installed profile contains: OnDemandEnabled: 1 OnDemandRules: Connect Action for WiFi, Cellular, and Ethernet OnDemandUserOverrideDisabled: 1 From sysdiagnose logs, I see some interesting logs for nesessionmanager: Handling a network changed event Resetting VPN On Demand Found 0 registrations for [...].PacketTunnel Failed to find [...].PacketTunnel app extension using neagent Plugin is not available in launch services Plugin is not installed (I also see some failures with

Reply to Developer ID Installer certificate location
Developer ID signing identities are precious. If you have one, you can sign code that’s indistinguishable from legitimate code created by your organisation. Given that, Apple has additional limits on such signing identities. I talk about that in gory detail in The Care and Feeding of Developer ID. One of those limits is that only an Account Holder can manually create Developer ID certificates. I suspect you’re not the Account Holder for your team, and that’s why you’re seeing this problem. You should talk to your Account Holder and discuss how to proceed. IMPORTANT Make sure you read the above-mentioned post because it’s easy to paint yourself into a corner with Developer ID. Reply to Unable to Accept Invite
Same here, this is very frustrating. Not working either in iOS TF or Mac TF. Error: Unable to Accept Invite The Apple Account you're currently signed in with, d*****@gmail.com, doesn't match the one associated to this invitation. You can sign in to TestFlight with the original Apple Account, d*****@gmail.com, or request a new invitation from the developer.
