Digital Services Act Verification Stuck In Review (Turkey Address Documents Not Accepted)
Region: Türkiye Hello, My Digital Services Act verification has been in review for an extended period of time, and I am unable to proceed. I have submitted my official residence document obtained via e-Government (QR-verified). However, in Türkiye, these documents are only issued in Turkish and cannot be provided in English. To assist with the review, I also included a manual English translation of the document, while keeping the original file unchanged. Despite this, my submission remains in review without any feedback or request for additional information. Has anyone experienced a similar issue with address verification in Türkiye? Is there any specific format or document that Apple accepts in this case? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

iOS 26.4 Simulator + Xcode local StoreKit returns PurchaseResult.userCancelled immediately, even in Apple sample app
Hi, I’m seeing a reproducible issue with local StoreKit testing on the iOS 26.4 Simulator. Environment: Xcode 17E192 iOS 26.4 Simulator StoreKit Testing in Xcode using a .storekit configuration file attached to the Run scheme SubscriptionStoreView StoreKit 2 What happens: Tapping a subscription purchase button starts the flow, but the purchase immediately returns: StoreKit.Product.PurchaseResult.userCancelled No purchase dialog appears. No transaction is created. Debug > StoreKit > Manage Transactions remains empty. Transaction.updates, Transaction.unfinished, and Transaction.currentEntitlements do not produce any new purchase-related events. Important detail: This happens not only in my app, but also in Apple’s sample: Implementing a store in your app using the StoreKit API I tested the sample with its own .storekit file and shared scheme. The sample shows the same behavior on iOS 26.4 Simulator. On iOS 26.2 Simulator: The purchase flow does react differently. I see the warning: Makin

Reply to Slow launch of app on iOS Simulator 26.4
I'd like you to try something — go into your scheme, and uncheck Debug Executable from the Run tab. When you click Run, Xcode will run your app with going through the process to attach LLDB. Does the launch performance after this look more like you're expecting? If so, we'd really appreciate getting diagnostics so we can look into the root cause of this slow down. Add the following to your ~/.lldbinit file, and the restart Xcode to ensure this is enabled: log enable gdb-remote packets --timestamp -f /tmp/log_packets.txt Before you launch your app, run the following in Terminal: sample lldb-rpc-server 60 --wait -file /tmp/sample.txt Attach both of those files that those commands placed in /tmp on your bug report, and let me know here when that's done. I also suggest removing the log line from ~/.lldbinit so it's not always logging debugger packets. @Code4Food, it'd be helpful if you could run the same tests and collect the same data, and attach them to your own bug report. I can’t help you with the third-party tooling side of this. My advice is that you set up a small Xcode test project to exercise the APIs in question. If you get stuck with that, I’d be happy to help. Once you get that working, you can translate that knowledge to your third-party environment. And if you have problems with that, you can seek help via its support channel. However, I can tell you that this is wrong:
I do have these entries in my Entitlements.plist … com.apple.developer.music-kit
MusicKit is one of the most commonly hallucinating entitlements. Indeed, I listed it, with a slightly different spelling, in Determining if an entitlement is real. Oh, and if you were using a modern version of Xcode, it would’ve told you about this, which is another good reason to prototype this stuff in Xcode. App review rejection due to accessibility
Hi, and apologies for a long post! We have created an app that enables wireless communication with FIDO2 devices over Bluetooth by creating virtual HID devices and translating the packages. In order to do this, we use the HIDVirtualDevice class as described here: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/corehid/creatingvirtualdevices We learned the hard way that this sample code does not work without the “com.apple.developer.hid.virtual.device“ entitlement, but with it, it behaves as expected. Now, our application has been rejected during Review, both by the initial App Review and the appeal to the App Review Board. The problem is that I can’t really figure out what the issue is. The first rejection states the following: The app requests access to Accessibility features on macOS but does not use these features for accessibility purposes. Specifically, the app uses Accessibility features for non-accessibility feature. (Please see attached screenshot) The attached screenshot is of the screen the app s

Does your Canvas in Xcode crash all the time due to AXRemoteElement-BackgroundFetch?
Hi everyone, yesterday I updated my macOS and Xcode to the latest versions and today I have the strangest thing: Canvas is always crashing whenever I click it, in any and all my Projects. The full Simulator works just fine; only the Preview Canvas crashes. All the crash reports say it's because of AXRemoteElement-BackgroundFetch, and ChatGPT says it's not because of my code. These are very simple Projects, just for experimentation. Nothing complex, just native code while I follow examples in a SwiftUI book. Anyone else having this issue? Apple Pay In-App Provisioning – HTTP 500 (HTML) on broker endpoint in production (TestFlight)
We are implementing Apple Pay In-App Provisioning (EV_ECC_v2) for our EU app. The same codebase and encryption logic works successfully for our main app (different bundle ID and Adam ID), but the EU app consistently fails with HTTP 500. Environment: Entitlement: Granted (Case-ID: 18772317) Encryption scheme: EV_ECC_v2 Issue: During In-App Provisioning, the iOS app successfully obtains certificates, generates cryptographic material (encryptedCardData, activationData, ephemeralPublicKey), and POSTs to Apple's broker endpoint. The request fails at: Endpoint: POST /broker/v4/devices/{SEID}/cards Response: HTTP 500 with an HTML error page (not a JSON business error) 500 Internal Server Error 500 Internal Server Error Apple Key observations: Our main app (different bundle ID/Adam ID) uses identical encryption code, private keys, and key alias — and works correctly in production. Xcode 26.4 cannot run app-hosted unit tests on physical iOS 16 devices ("Logic Testing Unavailable")
Summary: After upgrading to Xcode 26.4, app-hosted XCTest execution on physical devices running iOS 16 fails at test-planning time with Logic Testing Unavailable. The same project and same device work under Xcode 26.2. The failure reproduces with a standalone minimal Xcode project, which suggests this is an Xcode regression rather than a project-configuration issue. Environment: Xcode: 26.4 (17E192) macOS: Tahoe 26.4 Failing device: iPhone 11 (iPhone12,1), iOS 16.0.3 Working comparisons: Xcode 26.2 + same iPhone 11 (iOS 16.0.3): works Xcode 26.4 + iPad Pro 11-inch (4th generation) on iOS 26.3: works Regression: Yes. Works on Xcode 26.2. Fails on Xcode 26.4. Same project, same signing setup, same physical iOS 16 device. Minimal reproduction: A minimal sample project with: one iOS app target one app-hosted unit-test target one UI-test target (for comparison; not required to reproduce) Steps for the unit-test repro on a physical device running iOS 16: Build for testing: xcodebuild -project TestProject.xcodeproj

Reply to Universal Links and Cloud-testing platforms
@michelbechelani-aya Yes, if you distribute the app using the Apple Developer Enterprise Program or TestFlight there is no need to resign the app, therefore everything will work on the app. Now the most robust way to handle OAuth/Sign-in flows in automated cloud testing does not need Universal Links entirely for your test builds. Create a specific build configuration for your cloud tests. In this build, configure your app to use a Custom URL scheme for its callback. Configure your staging/testing Auth Server to accept and redirect to this Custom URL scheme instead of the Universal Link (https://...). When the test runner triggers the login, the browser will redirect to myapp-test://, which the OS will route back to your app, regardless of who signed it. Not trying to side track you. Follow your architecture, but I want to make sure to show there are other options. Albert Pascual

.xcstrings catalog creates a massive git diff upon the slightest change
Every time I touch (add a key, remove a key, even add a key, then remove it) the Strings Catalog .xcstrings file, it re-renders the entire file and creates a 18 thousand line dif. When I looked closer, it changes the whitespace before colons! version: 1.0 version : 1.0 it does so for every JSON node. This makes the whole feature useless, because we wont be able to see what we changed upon code review (diff is unprintable in the github interface) and every time we change a single translation, we will be stacking 18k lines diff. Not to mention merge conflicts?

Xcode 26.4 does not restore the most recent scheme
When opening a project or workspace in Xcode 26.4 the most recently active scheme is not restored. Instead, the scheme reverts to the first scheme in the list. I've tried opening and closing Xcode a few times, and removing the user data for a workspace. No luck. Any suggestions or workarounds?

Reply to Choosing Minimum Deployment Targets
I would set it to 17.0. Xcode is smart enough to tell you if any of the frameworks that you intend to use is not available for the current deployment version. If I'm right, the Translation framework, which I hardly use, is available from 17.4, though.
