I was wondering when the maintenance of the Apple Developer website will end as I need to register a new App ID for my project. I know that WWDC just ended, but is there an estimate for this?

Hello,
I'm currently living in Finland and would like to apply for the developer program in order to develop an app for the Apple Vision Pro. I understand that Finland is not supported in this matter, so I thought about making an German AppleID, since that is supported in the AVP App Store, and enroll in the program with that.
The problem is that, since I'm not a German citizen nor have a residency there, would that cause a problem in the identity verification process? Is this allowed at all? If not, are there any workarounds to be able to get the developer account outside of supported regions?

Hi everyone,
I made a mistake when submitting my first app and accidentally set my developer name as the app name instead of my business name. Now all my apps show the wrong developer name on the App Store.
Apple support said it can't be changed after the first app, but I've seen some posts mentioning people got it changed through support. Has anyone successfully changed their developer name after initial setup?
Is closing the account and starting fresh the only real option? Really don't want to lose my app's reviews and ratings.
Any experiences or advice would be appreciated!

for over 2 months, I have peen trying to purchase apple developer account, I have submitted duns number, they also requested other verification details which I have submitted over 2 months, and I have tried chatting apple support and they keep telling me it under review for more than 2 months, currently they are not replying my chat

A few years ago, I attempted to enroll in the Apple Developer Program, but the process was blocked with the following error message:
"Your enrollment could not be completed. Your enrollment in the Apple Developer Program could not be completed at this time."
As a developer, I regularly help businesses and individuals set up their Apple developer accounts, and I’ve never encountered this issue with any of my clients—only on my own personal account.
I’ve since discovered that others have faced this problem too, but none seem to have found a working solution. I’ve sent multiple emails to Apple Support and I have yet to receive a single response.
This matter is extremely urgent for me. If anyone has experienced this issue and successfully resolved it, please share your solution. I’d greatly appreciate any insight.

I'm an indie developer and I'm currently dealing with a confusing and concerning issue with Apple. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced something similar.
🔻 What happened:
I’m based in Poland and recently opened a sole proprietorship.
A few days before the issue, I updated my W-8BEN tax form (correcting my personal ID to my business tax ID – NIP).
Then, one day before my scheduled monthly payout, I received an email from Apple saying:
"Your payments are on hold – we’ve noticed irregular activity on your account."
All payments were suddenly put on hold with no specific reason given.
My app remains live and available on the App Store.
I wasn’t warned ahead of time, and there’s no detailed explanation from Apple so far.
🔸 My questions:
Has anyone else had all their payments withheld right before payout like this?
What were the reasons in your case (tax issues, account verification, “irregular activity”, etc.)?
How long did it take to resolve, and did Apple eventually release the funds?
I’ve contacted Apple Finance, but responses so far have been generic and slow.
Any advice, experience, or clarification would be extremely appreciated — this payout is essential for covering my operating costs, and being left without funds so suddenly is pretty rough.

Each year I get my renewal email from Apple, however, since 2019 (yes, this is the 4th year in a row) I've been unable to renew due to this infamous "Please enter fewer characters" error message. Each time I've had to open a support case, talk to someone on the phone, they take all of my details along with screenshots, etc. and manually renew my subscription. Once they've charged my card I never hear from them again and issue never gets resolved.
IDK if any Apple Dev Support folks actually use this forum but this is ridiculous.

I purchased a Mac mini to register for the Apple Developer program, but it doesn't have a camera. Therefore, during the registration process, I tried using someone else's phone to continue, but it failed and I couldn't continue. I contacted customer service many times, but their response was the same: they couldn't solve the problem.
My software and game have been developed, so I really need an account to sell them. I hope the Apple official website can give me a chance to register again. Thank you very much.

Hi, can some one please guide how to contact apple support for the verification process the only way is to contact via email but every time i sent them an email from there website i get an automated reply and no ones contact me it's been days i need to migrate my account from individual to organization already submitted all my details business information D.U.N.S number etc but no luck.
Please guide how can we process our request?

This really shouldn't be this difficult. Here's the situation:
We had a card linked to our Apple Developer account, which expired. It had already seen 2 successful membership purchases.
We had auto-renewal turned on for the membership, which failed due to the expired card.
I was unable to capture new payment details for about 2 days (battling with various Apple payment pages to get the new card added). But finally managed to do so.
Now, there is no way to disable auto-renewal, and no way to trigger renewal. The membership is in expired status. We can't post updates, we can't take apps live. We have several clients eagerly awaiting publication of their apps.
And Apple Support has been silent for over two weeks despite numerous requests.
Anyone have any idea how to resolve this? I've tried almost every option described on every forum post.

I'm experiencing issues enrolling in the Apple Developer Program. After completing the enrollment and attempting to make the payment, I'm redirected to a page stating that it will take 48 hours to process the payment. However, after that time has passed, when I access the Apple Developer page, everything looks the same, as if I need to enroll again.
I'm a developer from Bangladesh and want to join the Apple Developer Program. I created my Apple ID with the US region, but I can’t provide valid US billing info.
How can I pay using my Bangladeshi card and billing address to enroll in the program?
Hi Apple team and fellow developers,
We previously had Location Push Service Extension enabled and working in production. After transferring the app to a new Apple Developer team, the production App ID was transferred, but the Location Push entitlement was not retained.
We've also created a new App ID for development, and now need Location Push access enabled for both the transferred production ID and the new development ID.
We’ve already submitted the Location Push Access form with all relevant details.
Unfortunately, the App Transfer documentation didn’t make it clear that Location Push access would be lost, and now we’re blocked from making new builds — even for the existing production app.
❓ Questions:
Is it possible to re-enable Location Push for a transferred App ID?
What’s the expected timeline for entitlement approval?
Can Apple staff confirm the request status or let us know if any further action is needed?
Thanks in advance — this entitlement is critical for our app’s functionality and release pipeline.

Certain documentation seems to suggest I can submit a swift playground to the App Store. I am a paid $99 a year developer. In the submission process they ask for my team ID. I am not part of a team. I am an individual. However, my individual account has a team ID associated with it, but they don’t allow me to enter that number in the space provided. There is an * note saying some teams are not permitted to upload to the Apple store connect.
How do I, a paid up developer, submit a swift playgrounds app to the App Store?.
I’m experiencing an issue where Xcode cannot access my Team ID, even though my Apple Developer Program membership appears active and I have paid for it.
• When I visit Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles, I get this popup:
“Unable to find a team with the given Team ID XXXXXXXXXX to which you belong. Please contact Apple Developer Program Support.”
• My Apple ID still shows an active Developer Program membership under System Settings → Media & Purchases.
• In App Store Connect, I can still see my Team ID and access my account.
This issue was previously resolved via phone support after I was incorrectly locked out. I had paid twice, and was refunded once, but now the issue has returned - and support claims I was refunded twice, which is false (I have proof from my bank).
I’ve contacted support multiple times, and my case has been sitting with the operations team for weeks. No explanation. No resolution. Just silence.
I paid for a service I’m not receiving. Has anyone dealt with a similar issue or found a way to escalate it effectively?

We applied for the Apple Developer Program on April 28, and our enrollment has been stuck in review since then — over three weeks now. We have already submitted all required documents, including:
Turkish National ID and Passport
Estonian e-Residency Card
Company registration documents from the Estonian e-Business Register
D-U-N-S number
VAT and Registry information
Detailed explanations as a sole founder and legal representative
Enrollment Case number is 102586593909
We even had a follow-up phone call with Apple Developer Support (Case ID: 102589592062) and were told the submitted documents should be sufficient. I also followed all upload instructions and confirmed that the files were delivered successfully.
Despite all this, we haven’t received any updates, timelines, or specific feedback on what’s missing — if anything at all.
✅ Meanwhile, we’ve completed similar business verification processes with Google, Meta, and Stripe within 48 hours.
We’re trying to launch our app under an officially registered business (Mobisense OÜ), and this delay is affecting our go-to-market timeline and business operations.
🔹 Has anyone else experienced this kind of delay recently?
🔹 Is there a reliable way to escalate or request an actual review update?
Apple, please review this case and help move the process forward.
