I have a macbook pro 13 "2012 that does not detect a wifi adapter, but it does detect bluetooth and I can use it.
When I turn on the computer and enter the wifi preference, it shows "no sequential" and then disappears to show me the options as if the adapter was turned off, of course, without being able to turn it on.
Change flex and network adapter of another twin computer without wifi problems, and it does not remain the same, without wifi but with bluetooth
I also did reset smc and pram but nothing worked. please help

I think Apple's made a bad decision.
They released macos Big Sur 11.3 RC on the 20th of April.
Now they've released the first beta of 11.4.
So someone like me who typically does some last minute testing prior to an RC (aka Gold Master) release to the public I can no longer do that.
I think this is a huge problem for me and even larger mistake by Apple. I don't recall this ever happening in nearly 20 years. So now I have to delay some testing until AFTER the release of macOS 11.3.
This makes me seriously unhappy.
The download page offered by Apple has a direct download link for each version beta or RC which is misleading.
I'd imagine that the links for the rest of the operating systems works in the same fashion.
I hope Apple fixes this because now my testing will be delayed way longer than I wanted.

I updated to Xcode 12.3 on my MacBook Pro 2018 13" yesterday and face a strange Issue now.
Problem: Every Time I open Xcode, it will first work fine. However, after a few Actions / Seconds, the Screen is freezing and the Circle Loading Indicator is displayed. The App is not responding anymore and I have to force close it.
More Information: The Freezing is Xcode specific. I can use all other Programs while Xcode is frozen and the Circle is spinning. It doesn't seem like a Ressource Problem
This not only happens with existing Projects, I created a new one and encountered the same Problem
I alredy reinstalled Xcode, does not solve the Problem
I already deleted the ~/Library/Developer Folder *(like a few other posts recommended)* and Installed the Components on Xcode Start again. Still the same Problem.
Has anyone an Idea on how to solve this Problem?
Thanks for your help.

Help please! I have been using Keynote slides as a virtual background(VB) in Zoom Pro for months on an older MacBook Pro. Upgraded to Big Sur and now when I use the slides as VB, they will not advance. The advance arrow will click, and the slide number will increase - but the slides don't change. I have some deadlines on projects for which I need this to work soon! Thanks for any fixes you can suggest.

Hi folks
I've just switched from a Windows 10 laptop to a MacBook running Big Sur 11.2.3, and am now having problems when setting up meetings in Zoom in a pre-existing account. The Zoom account was running fine before I switched to the MacBook, and I've not changed any settings in either Zoom or Google Calendar.
In summary when I set up a meeting with other people in Zoom they are now not receiving my email invitations, even though the meeting - and the invitees - is showing as normal in my Google calendar. The invitation email doesn't show up in my Sent log either (it used to). When I hover my mouse over the 'meeting organiser' box in Google I can see the correct email address for my Google calendar but my name is not shown, instead it says 'VPN + 3 letters + special character'. I don't understand why, as I'm not using a VPN and i've not changed any Google Calendar settings.
I've tried to see if the problem is resolved by turning the Mac firewall off & on, but it makes no difference.
Has anyone any ideas what this issue is, and how I an resolve it? It's a huge pain as I'm now having to manually send the Zoom meeting links to every invitee!

I bought a new Mac Pro and migrated my user account from my old mac to my new mac pro using the migration assistant.
When I open mail I can see my mail folders and all the mails I received before the migration.
I can connect to my mail account and I can see new mail being received in the connection window.
However once this new mail has been received I do not see it in any of my mailboxes. I have no idea where it is or how to make it show up.
Thank you for your help.
