I am having issues with the Apple review process, the reviewer found some blockers on the iPad with 17.6.1. I don't have the physical device which I could use to reproduce the bags and neither on the Apple Downloads site nor via Xcode I am able to see the 17.6.1 simulators available. Is there any way I could download it? Any suggestions?
When I new project is initiated in XCode 16 beta 3, an overall folder is created to contain all the generated content in the Navigator pane . In past XCode version, this main container (under the project name) has always been generated as a group. Is this change by design or a bug? The issue this creates is that the files and folders in this overall Folder can not be repositioned - they remain in ascending alphabetical order. I must convert this initial Folder into a Group by right clicking on the folder name and selecting "Convert to group" which converts the folder to a group. I am then able to reposition files, groups and folders within this group. I don't see anywhere in the XCode documentation where this change in behavior is mentioned.
Anyone else having this same issue. I never have understood the difference or use cases for groups vs folders in the xcode Navigator pane.

Hi, i am using macos ventura 13.5.2 and xcode 14.3.1 version. But when i try to add an IOs 14.3 simulator, this option did not appear.
I have numerous simulator runtimes marked as "Deleting":
$ xcrun simctl runtime list
== Disk Images ==
-- iOS --
iOS 18.0 (22A3351) - 036938A4-AAF7-4671-8880-8E381770E397 (Deleting)

-- watchOS --
watchOS 11.0 (22R5284o) - 87DB6C3E-A51E-4394-AD35-F6BDCBDEFDC9 (Ready)
How to I finish deleting these runtimes?
I can't re-install, because:
$ simctl runtime add iOS_18_Release_Candidate_Simulator_Runtime.dmg
The iOS Simulator runtime 22A3351 is not installed, installing...
D: C76A5156-5225-4683-806A-FC604074F2C7 iOS (18.0 - 22A3351) (Unusable - Other Failure: Error Domain=SimDiskImageErrorDomain Code=5 "Duplicate of 036938A4-AAF7-4671-8880-8E381770E397" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=Duplicate of 036938A4-AAF7-4671-8880-8E381770E397, unusableErrorDetail=})
and it's the "Deleting" runtimes aren't usable (causing things like ibtool/actool to stop working), presumably because they're "Deleting."
A reboot does not fix anything.
When I try to install my app via USB cable on my child's iPhone 13 device I see following error in Xcode:
Installation on this device is prohibited by ManagedConfiguration
If I go to VPN & Device Management, I don't see anything. This is my Child's iphone so it is not like it is enrolled in some kind of school or work MDM.

I was using a version of Xcode and macOS that wasn't fully updated. When I tried to deploy my app to my phone I got the following error message "IOS Version Incompatible with Xcode version". At that time Xcode recognized my device. I updated my mac and updated Xcode. Then everything was fully up to date but now Xcode cannot see my device. I have tried with multiple different devices and it does not see any of them although finder recognizes all of them.
I have tried the following so far:
Every single suggestion from the tack overflow post: "Xcode does not see my iOS device but iTunes does"
Ensured developer mode is turn on on my iPhone
Restarted my iPhone and mac
Deleted and reinstall xcode
Tried a brand new empty Xcode project
Reinstalled command line developer tools
Restarted usbmuxd
Deleted derived data
Removed all vpns
tried different usb cables (I am pretty sure the cable shouldn't be the problem though since this cable was working when Xcode and my iOS version wasn't compatible)
Reset trust settings on my iPhon
Tried manually adding my device to device and simulators but it says no devices found
I opened up console on my mac and saw the following output "error 20:08:46.847760-0700 managedappdistributiond Simulator is not supported"
I do not understand what is going wrong for me right now. I cannot think of nor find any other solutions right now.
I'm building a Unity application for ios that also communicates with Firebase (and GDrive, if it makes a difference, as well as some other servers). When running it through Unity Build Automation with fastlane, this is what it's failing on.
Help?

If I use the manual merge option with a mergeable library in debug mode, the app crashes on the device only.
Here's what I found when debugging this issue.
Problem situation 1
In the debug build, the linker does not find the type of the Meregeable Library.
Explain the debugged result of Problem Situation 1
We have a type called UserAdDTO, which belongs to the B Framework. - In our project, B Framework and C Framework are mergeable libraries, and they are merged into A Framework.
We are using Manual Merge in A Framework.
When we build with the simulator, we link the UserAdDTO from CFramework.framework/CFramework in the app target.
On the other hand, when I build with the device, I try to link it from AFramework.framework/AFramework, and I get the issue that UserAdDTO is not found.
So, even if you output DYLD_PRINT_BINDINGS, the simulator build links to the C Framework to find the UserAdDTO, but the app links to the B Framework, causing a runtime crash.
Problem situation 2
It is confirmed that only the device build does not copy the reexported binary.
Detailed description of problem situation 2
If you compare the build messages from the device build with the build messages from the release build, both generate the reexported binaries of B and C Frameworks, but do not copy them to BFramework.framework and CFramework.framework.
Instead, they copy the files in different paths.
This appears to be a bug, and I'd like to ask you to confirm.
Xcode 15 crashes immediately upon opening, and I am unable to work. This issue occurs on both macOS 13 and macOS 14. Xcode 14 also experiences intermittent freezing, but at least it is still somewhat usable. I hope you can help me resolve this issue.
xcode16 debug模式下运行失败:linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)
-bitcode_bundle is no longer supported and will be ignored
-bitcode_process_mode is no longer supported and will be ignored
请问怎么解决??xcode版本:Version 16.0 (16A242d)
release模式下 是正常跑起来的。
oc项目里面有flutter。

Hello everyone,
I’m encountering an issue while trying to archive my app in Xcode, and I hope someone can help me troubleshoot it.
Error Details:
Domain: IDEArchivedApplicationErrorDomain
Code: 1
Failure Reason: Archive content at path /Users/c1/Library/Developer/Xcode/Archives/2024-09-22/alpha release 4 22-09-24, 2.52 PM.xcarchive/Products/Applications/Runner.app is missing a bundle identifier.
User Info:
DVTErrorCreationDateKey = "2024-09-22 09:22:03 +0000";
Steps Taken:
I’ve verified that the Bundle Identifier is correctly set in the project settings under the General tab.
Cleaned the build folder (Product > Clean Build Folder).
Restarted Xcode and attempted to archive again.
Checked that all targets in the project have a valid Bundle Identifier.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue or have any suggestions for resolving this? I would appreciate any guidance on how to fix this missing bundle identifier error.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello,
I'm experiencing a persistent crash in my Expo app on iOS 17.4.1 and subsequently 18.0 (on the iPhone 12 mini) triggered by an EXC_GUARD error.
I've also received the following warning in the XCode build logs:
/Users/expo/workingdir/build/ios/Pods/sqlite3/sqlite-src-3450300/sqlite3.c:60562:24: warning: implicit conversion loses integer precision: 'i64' (aka 'long long') to 'u32' (aka 'unsigned int') [-Wshorten-64-to-32]
The device crash logs are attached below. I'll be looking around for any other fixes, but grateful for your help in the meantime!

I received two different emails from Apple regarding my developer account:
An App Store invitation email stating:
"You're invited to join a development team, Acme Corp, in the Apple Developer Program so you can help develop, distribute, and manage their apps."
The company name here correctly shows "Acme Corp."
A TestFlight invitation email with the subject line:
"TechSolutions LLC has invited you to test ShopEasy."
In this email, "TechSolutions LLC" appears as the company name, but it should be either "Acme Corp" or simply the app name, "ShopEasy."
For context, I have two apps in my account: ShopEasy and TechApp. They are created as separate apps under Acme Corp, which is the entity registered in my Apple Developer account membership. Despite this, when I build ShopEasy for TestFlight, the email subject uses "TechSolutions LLC" as the company name, which is confusing for testers.
Could someone help me understand where "TechSolutions LLC" is coming from, and how I can fix this so that the correct app name or entity (Acme Corp) is shown in the TestFlight emails?
Thanks for your assistance!

Using an iPhone 16 Pro Max, running [UIApplication sharedApplication].windows.lastObject.windowScene.statusBarManager.statusBarFrame.size.height in Xcode 15 returns a result of 44, causing UI display issues for applications that rely on the status bar height for calculations.
However, using Xcode 16, the same code returns a height of 54, and the UI displays correctly.
Is this an Apple
