Real world anchors
I’m trying to build a persistent world map of my college campus using ARKit, but it’s not very reliable. Anchors don’t consistently appear in the same place across sessions. I’ve tried using image anchors, but they didn’t improve accuracy much. How can I create a stable world map for a larger area and reliably relocalize anchors? Are there better approaches or recommended resources for this?

Cannot receive 2FA code after registered email was deleted – locked out of Developer account
My Apple Developer account was registered with a company Gmail address that has since been permanently deleted. Now when I try to log in, I reach the 2FA step but the verification code is no longer sent to my registered phone number. I am completely locked out. Has anyone experienced this or knows how to contact Apple to recover access?

App review process takes long time
Hello iOS Developer Community, I submitted my app for review on February 19, 2026, and as of today (March 3, 2026), its status in App Store Connect still shows “Waiting for Review.” I contacted Apple Developer Support regarding this delay and received the following automated response: “Thanks for submitting your support request. We’ve received your support request and will get back to you as soon as possible. Your case ID is 102831222355.” It has now been more than ten days without any further communication or status update. Could anyone advise on the appropriate next steps in this situation?

Inquiry regarding Local Push Connectivity Entitlement
Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for your support. I have reviewed the documentation for Local Push Connectivity (see URL below) and, following the instruction in the "Important" section to "Request this entitlement from the Entitlement Request Page," I completed the application process for this Entitlement on March 11, 2026. [Local push connectivity] https://developer.apple.com/documentation/networkextension/local-push-connectivity?language=objc#Supporting-APNs-and-local-push-connectivity-in-one-app Subsequently, on March 13, 2026, I received the following reply from Apple: Sub : Re: Requesting Network Extension App Push Entitlement From: Local Push Review Sent: Friday, March 13, 2026 4:09 AM Hi, Thank you for your interest in the Local Push Connectivity entitlement. Your entitlement request has been approved for: Team ID: NWKYYYYYYY Technical documentation on this API is available here: -(Omission) - Best Regards, Apple Developer Relations My understanding is that upon approval of this application, an "Entitlements" field should be added to the input fields for creating provisioning profiles. However, as of today(March 18, 2026), it has not yet been added. Will the Entitlements field be added if I simply wait? My account (Apple ID), which submitted the application, belongs to three Team IDs. For convenience, I will refer to them as Team ID SV3XXXXXXX, Team ID NWKYYYYYYY, and Team ID WEJZZZZZZZ. The application status for Entitlements for each Team ID is as follows: Team ID SV3XXXXXXX Entitlements: Present. Applied for Entitlements on February 6, 2021. (Received "Re: Requesting Network Extension App Push Entitlement" email on February 6, 2021) Team ID NWKYYYYYYY Entitlements: Not present. Applied for Entitlements on March 13, 2026. (Received "Re: Requesting Network Extension App Push Entitlement" email on March 13, 2026) Team ID WEJZZZZZZZ Entitlements: Present. No record (email) of applying for Entitlements. Because of this, I am concerned that the Entitlements applied for Team ID NWKYYYYYYY may have been mistakenly granted to Team ID WEJZZZZZZZ, and I am inquiring about this. Will the Entitlements field for Team ID NWKYYYYYYY be added if I simply wait? Thank you in advance.

Bug or Feature: Changes to Window Reopen Behavior in macOS 26
Since macOS 26 Beta 1, I notice that the window reopening behavior had changed. Say there are two desktops (spaces), one might: open an app window in desktop 1 close that window switch to desktop 2 reopen the app window (by click on dock tile, spotlight search...) Prior to macOS 26, that window will always reopen in current desktop. This is IMO the right behavior because these windows are most likely transient (message app, chat app, utilities app or note app). In macOS 26, however, will switch to desktop 1 (where the window is closed) and reopen the window in desktop 1. This is weird to me because: Window is "closed", hence it should not be attached to desktop 1 anymore, unlike minimize. Switching desktop interrupts user's current workflow. It's annoying to switch back specially when there're many desktops. This behavior is inconsistent. Some reopen in current desktop, some reopen in previous desktop. Apps like Music, Notes and Calendar reopened in previous desktop, while Mail, Messages, and Freeform reopened in current desktop. I did a little bit of experiment, and find out that apps that reopened in current desktop are most likely because they take an extra step to release the window when it's closed. I believe this is a bug, so I fire a feedback (FB18016497) back in beta 1. But I did not get any response or similar report from others, to a point that I kinda wonder if this is intended. I can easily force my app to reopen in current desktop by nullifying my window controller in windowWillClose, but this behavior essentially change how one can use the Spaces feature that I think I should bring this up to the community and see what other developers or engineers thinks about it.

State loss and sheets dismiss on backgrounding app
I've been hitting a weird SwiftUI bug with navigation and state loss and I've managed to reproduce in a very tiny sample project. I've submitted a Feedback FB21681608 but thought it was worth posting here incase any SwiftUI experts can see something obviously wrong. The bug With deeper levels of navigation hierarchy SwiftUI will dismiss views when backgrounding the app. Any work around would be appreciated. This happens in a real app where we have to navigate to a settings screen modally and then a complex flow with other sheets. Sample code Happens in the simulator and on device. import SwiftUI struct ContentView: View { @State private var isPresented = false var body: some View { Button("Show first sheet") { isPresented = true } .sheet(isPresented: $isPresented) { SheetView(count: 1) } } } struct SheetView: View { private enum Path: Hashable { case somePath } @State private var isPresented = false var count: Int var body: some View { NavigationStack { VStack { Text("Sheet \(count)") .font(.largeTitle) // To recreate bug show more than 4 sheets and then switch to the app switcher (CTRL-CMD-Shift-H). // All sheets after number 3 dismiss. Button("Show sheet: \(count + 1)") { isPresented = true } } .sheet(isPresented: $isPresented) { SheetView(count: count + 1) } // Comment out the `navigationDestination` below and the sheets don't dismiss when app goes to the background. // Or move this modifier above the .sheet modifier and the sheets don't dismiss. .navigationDestination(for: Path.self) { _ in fatalError() } } } }

How does ARKit achieve low-latency and stable head tracking using only RGB camera ?
Hi, I’m working on a real-time head/face tracking pipeline using a standard 2D RGB camera, and I’m trying to better understand how ARKit achieves such stable and responsive results in comparable conditions. To clarify upfront: I’m specifically interested in RGB-only tracking and the underlying vision/ML pipeline. I’m not using TrueDepth or any depth/IR-based sensors, and I’d like to understand how similar stability and responsiveness can be achieved under those constraints. In my current setup, I estimate head pose from RGB frames (facial landmarks + PnP) and apply temporal filtering (e.g., exponential smoothing and Kalman filtering). This significantly reduces jitter, but introduces noticeable latency, especially during faster head movements. What stands out in ARKit is that it appears to maintain both: Very low jitter Very low perceived latency even when operating with camera input alone. I’m trying to understand what techniques might contribute to this behavior. In particular: Does ARKit use predictive tracking (e.g., velocity or acceleration-based pose extrapolation) to compensate for camera and processing delays in RGB-only scenarios? Are there recommended strategies for balancing temporal smoothing and responsiveness without introducing visible lag in camera-based pose estimation pipelines? Is the tracking pipeline internally decoupled from rendering (e.g., asynchronous processing with prediction applied at render time)? Are there general best practices for minimizing end-to-end latency in vision-based head tracking systems beyond standard filtering approaches? I understand that implementation details may not be public, but any high-level insights or pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Is there any way to check if iOS Enterprise App is allowed in devices >= iOS18?
Hello, I'm working in the team with 70 i(Pad)OS test devices running 24/7, and 40 of them are iOS 18 or 26. The problem is: for enterprise apps to be tested (signed with ADEP inhouse profile) the devices over iOS 18 require Enterprise App developers to be allowed at least once with physical control on-device after reboot, which is quite burdensome because we put all the devices in the restricted area, supposed to be used from the remote. Devices are logged into Apple ID for the prevention of Activation Lock but no preparation nor management via MDM over Apple Configurator 2. Is there any binary, tool, app that can check (letting us allow devices for those developers would be even better) if the Enterprise App developer(s) are allowed for the device via terminal or VNC?

App Transfer Completed but Extension App IDs Missing and Cannot Be Recreated
Hello, We recently transferred our iOS app to a new Apple Developer account, and we are experiencing an issue that is currently blocking our release. The transfer of the main app appears to have completed successfully: The app is visible in App Store Connect under the recipient account The main bundle ID is available However, the App IDs for our extensions are missing from the recipient account in Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles. Affected bundle identifiers: com.finanfut.finanfut.NotificationService com.finanfut.finanfut.NotificationContentExtension The issue is: These App IDs do NOT appear in the recipient account We are NOT able to create them manually Apple returns: “The app identifier is not available” As a result: Xcode cannot generate provisioning profiles We get errors like: "No profiles for 'com.finanfut.finanfut.NotificationContentExtension' were found" We are blocked from archiving and distributing the app It seems that the App IDs are still reserved in Apple's backend but were not properly assigned to the new team after the transfer. We have already contacted Apple Developer Support so many times but have not yet received a response. Has anyone experienced this issue after an app transfer with extensions? Is there any workaround, or does this require Apple backend intervention? Any help or confirmation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

ARSession Error: Required sensor failed
Hi everyone, I’m currently using the RoomPlan API, which has been working reliably until recently. However, I’ve started encountering an intermittent error and I’m trying to understand what might be causing it. The error is triggered in the ARSession observer method: session(_ session: ARSession, didFailWithError error: Error) It has occurred on at least two devices: iPhone 14 Pro iPhone 17 Pro Here’s the full error message: ARSession failed domain=com.apple.arkit.error code=102 desc=Required sensor failed. userInfo=["NSLocalizedFailureReason": A sensor failed to deliver the required input., "NSUnderlyingError": Error Domain=AVFoundationErrorDomain Code=-11819 "Cannot Complete Action" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=Cannot Complete Action, NSLocalizedRecoverySuggestion=Try again later.}, "NSLocalizedDescription": Required sensor failed.] This seems to indicate that a required sensor (likely LiDAR or camera) failed to provide input, but I’m not sure what’s causing it or why it happens only occasionally. Has anyone experienced something similar or has insight into possible causes or fixes? Thanks in advance!

Application being blocked with time limit even though allowed
Hey there, We are being incorrectly blocked by Time Limits since the iOS 26 update released earlier this year. We are receiving complaints from parents that set a screentime limit for "All apps", and then add an exception for us, that they are still getting blocked by the OS after a certain period of time. While we originally thought this was fixed in 26.1, we have recently been made aware it still occurs. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there something we can do from our side to protect ourselves from this? Telling customers to remove their "All app" limit isn't really practical given our customer base, so we're looking to see if there's something on Apple's end or our end that can alleviate this.

How to create ControlWidget button that opens my App
Hi, I want to create a ControlWidget button that acts as a shortcut in the control center open a specific view within my app to show a badge. Problem: I can‘t get it to open my host app. I tried a custom myapp:// protocol - did not work, I tied AppIntent with the openAppWhenRun set to true - did not work and the strange thing is the debugger breakpoint in perform will only get triggered if this is set to false. OpenIntent did not work either even if I use a dummy swift app as host to try it out. What is the current supported way (iOS 18 and 26) to open your app when a static ControlWidget button is clicked, what could I have done wrong / am missing?

Payment completed but Apple Developer Program still not activated
Hello, I enrolled in the Apple Developer Program on March 22, 2026 and the payment has already been successfully charged. I also received an invoice the next day (March 23, 2026). However, my account is still not activated, and the system continues to prompt me to complete the enrollment or make the payment again. Is this a normal delay in activation? How long does it usually take for the account to be activated after payment? Do I need to take any additional steps, or should I contact support directly? Thank you for your assistance.

Remove Unused Network Links
Apple MacOS Sequoia 15.4.1 Creates a ton of unused network interfaces and it's a nightmare trying to figure out what they all do, what theyr're linked to, etc. It appears that network links utun0, utun1, utun2, ... are never used or useful. ip link shows they are all status UNKNOWN. I don't use a VPN or anything like that, and the documentation on these interfaces does not exist. I'd like to permanently delete them and permanently prevent them from ever being created again -- how can I accomplish this task?

iOS 26 Regression: Screen Time Permission Lost, had to be re-authenticated
Hello, my app is frequently loosing / forgetting the Screen Time Permission that had been granted previously on iOS 26. I have experienced it myself, sysdiagnose is in this radar: FB18997699 But also also my App Store users who have updated to iOS 26 already have reported this bug. It would be great if Apple could ensure that this bug is addressed before iOS 26 is released to the public.

After launching my first iOS app as an indie developer, what actions matter most now? 🚀📱
Hey everyone 👋 I have 14 years of experience in iOS development, starting in my mid-teens and later working as a senior and lead developer with Fortune 50 companies. Around 1.5 years ago I began my indie journey as a side hustle, and for the past 3 months I have been building apps full time with a growing portfolio and increasing revenue 📈 I currently handle everything myself including development, ASO, and design, with marketing planned for later 🚀 I just shipped a major release last week and taking a relaxed week now, so feel free to ask anything about iOS development, indie life, ASO, monetization, or related topics 💬
