I am developing a productivity app called FocusPact using the Screen Time API (Family Controls). Current Status: The parent app bundle ID (com.hayashikento.FocusPact) has already been approved for the Family Controls (Distribution) entitlement. I have recently submitted a new request for the DeviceActivityMonitorExtension bundle ID: com.hayashikento.FocusPact.FocusPActMonitor. The Issue: Currently, the extension only works while debugging with Xcode (Development entitlement). When the device is disconnected, the intervalWillEndWarning and intervalDidEnd triggers are ignored by the system because the Extension ID lacks the Distribution entitlement. This is a critical blocker for my MVP testing phase on TestFlight, as I cannot verify the core automatic re-blocking logic in a real-world environment. Request: Could any Apple staff or engineers help expedite the linking of this extension ID to my existing approved entitlement? Parent App ID: com.hayashikento.FocusPact Extension ID: com.hayashiken

The requested app is not available or does not exist
Hi, I’m new here and trying to upload my first two apps to the App Store, but I’m getting stuck in TestFlight. I’ve tried several different ways to export my apps, both with Expo and Xcode, but it makes no difference. My apps get stuck in Ready to Submit. When I add Internal Testing (my self) I receive an email saying I can start testing the app, and I can see it in TestFlight, but when I tap on it I get the following error: Unable to install AppName. The requested app is not available or does not exist. I contacted Apple Support over a week ago, but I haven’t received any response. Any suggenstions? Thanks, Jonas

App Stuck in Review for Over a Month – Urgent Assistance Required
Hello, My app has been stuck in the App Store review process for approximately one month, with no progress or updates provided during this time. I have sent around 20 emails and also submitted an expedite request due to the critical nature of the issue. Unfortunately, I have not received any response to any of my inquiries. This situation has reached a critical point. Since my app is not functioning properly, I have lost all of my subscribed users, causing both financial loss and damage to my reputation. Based on my previous experience, review times are usually much shorter, so this delay appears highly unusual. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in clarifying the following: Why has my app not been reviewed yet? Why have my emails not received any response? Is there anything further I can do to expedite the review process? I kindly ask for this issue to be investigated and resolved as soon as possible. I am ready to provide any additional information if needed. App Apple ID:

Reply to Supported way to expose an iPhone+controller as a macOS gamepad without restricted entitlements?
I will go ahead and file a request for a Core HID development variant. Perfect, thank you. FYI, I can't guarantee anything will change, but I'd like to get this sorted out as soon as possible, so this might be working relatively soon (at least on paid accounts). One comment here: More broadly, I think it would be very valuable to have a simple user-space API for controller virtualization available to hobbyists and personal developers as well, even if limited to development builds. I've seen a few requests asking about providing this support to the free account tier, not just the paid tier. It's a reasonable suggestion, but I did want to explain that the main reason the development entitlements are restricted to paid accounts is as a form of practical security protection. The idea here is that the underlying details of development signing's limitations: Builds only run on the specific devices that were registered when the signing profile was generated. Unable to use FoundationModels in older app?
Hi, I'm trying to add FoundationModels to an older project but always get the following error: Unable to resolve 'dependency' 'FoundationModels' import FoundationModels The error comes and goes while its compiling and then doesn't run the app. I have my target set to 26.0 (and can't go any higher) and am using Xcode 26 (17E192). Is anyone else having this issue? Thanks, Dan Uff

Automating closing of iCloud Tab?
I would like to script my Mac to close a specific iCloud Tab of my choice that is open on my iPhone. This is for Accessibility reasons. Ideally, I’d prefer to do this without using GUI scripting. AppleScript methods only seem to see tabs in Windows Extensions also do not seem to have visibility of the other types of tabs I've tried many options so far, but all seem to not work and are also far too brittle even if they did. I have a feeling I'm missing something! 1. Toolbar Dropdown In Desktop Safari you can enable a toolbar button “iCloud Tabs” which when clicked shows a list of the tabs currently open on your other devices. If you hover one, an X appears which can be clicked to close the tab. When you next use Safari on the remote device that tab will be closed. If it’s already open and awake then the removal happens around one second later. It’s quick. (But I did try GUI scripting and I can get to the row in the outline in the popup, but I can’t get the cross to appear to click it) 2. Start Page they’re als

How to get MPAN (when supported)?
My understanding is that MPAN is provided for any of the payment request types that support the tokenNotificationURL (deferred/recurring). If you omit the tokenNotificationURL from the request do you still get an MPAN (when supported by the banking network)? Or is it only if that property has a value? Is there a different way you are supposed to trigger an MPAN?

How to debug a Launch Daemon that requires an App Group provisioning profile for XPC communication
Hello, I am developing a macOS Launch Daemon (packaged as a bundle) that acts as an XPC server. For debugging purposes, I am trying to run the daemon's executable directly from the terminal via sudo ./mydaemon.app/Contents/MacOS/myexecutable. Initially, I added the com.apple.security.application-groups entitlement to the daemon. However, when starting the process, it failed to create the XPC service with the following errors: Unsatisfied entitlements: com.apple.security.application-groups Soft-restriction provisioning profile validation failure: Error Domain=AppleMobileFileIntegrityError Code=-413 No matching profile found UserInfo={NSURL=, unsatisfiedEntitlements=, NSLocalizedDescription=No matching profile found} listener failed to activate: xpc_error=[1: Operation not permitted] To resolve the profile validation failure, I registered a new App Group in the Apple Developer Portal, generated a new provisioning profile for the daemon that includes this group, and embedded it into the bundle (Contents

How to test TokenNotificationURL in sandbox?
We are trying to implement the the tokenNotificationUrl in a deferredBilling request so that we can get MPAN tokens (when supported) back from ApplePay. We want to be able to test that the events are working and firing. I have tried creating a deferred billing request, and then unlinked my test card from my test account and did not receive any event at my token notification endpoint. What is the best way to approach this from a lower environment perspective? We are trying to simulate the UNLINK EventType in the MerchantTokenEventResponse. Also can you confirm that providing this URL is what determines if we get an MPAN vs a DPAN (when MPAN is supported) or is there a different mechanism that turns that on?

Reply to Payment processed 18 days ago, but Developer Program still not activated
Hey everyone, just a quick update on my situation. Today is March 30, and it has been exactly 25 days since I made the payment. Apple finally replied to my ticket! They requested a scan of my passport for verification. I submitted it right away, but I really hope this identity check won't drag on for another few weeks.
