I use Homepod Mini as the gateway and have bound 9 Matter lights and 7 Matter switches. Each of my switches has 12 buttons, and each button supports three functions: single click, double click, and long press. Therefore, a total of 252 actions can be configured for 7 * 12 * 3. Currently, a total of 71 actions are configured for the 7 Matter switches. When configuring the 72nd action, the app will prompt that the operation cannot be completed. But if you delete a few previously configured actions, such as 68 actions, then you can configure 3 more actions (69, 70, 71). However, as long as you configure the 72nd action, the app will prompt that the operation cannot be completed, as if the available space is occupied. What is the reason for this?

Hello there!
I have developed a website (https://finnia.ch). Now I have transformed it to an app (with webview).
If anyone would like to check it out and test it here is the link: https://testflight.apple.com/join/hmyDw74t
It is a administration tool (not a game).

Hi, we've observed a weird behavior for a small amount of our user that we keep receiving the same token from APNs despite it's shown as Unregistered.
When we try to send push to the token, we got an Unregistered error so we remove that token from our server. However, later we would receive an add token request from the client with the same token we just removed, and when we try to send to the token it returns Unregistered again so we remove the token again. This happened 3 times for a user in an hour. The identifierForVendor remains the same for all the requests.
We also owns the client and I've checked client code that it's sending the token it received from didRegisterForRemoteNotificationsWithDeviceToken to the server.
I’m currently using the iOS 26 Developer Beta and noticed the new icon design for the Camera app. Personally, I preferred the previous icon it looked cleaner, more elegant, and felt more in line with Apple’s signature iOS design language.
The new icon feels more like something you’d expect from Android. It lacks the minimalist, refined style that usually defines iOS icons. I understand UI evolves over time, but this change feels like a step away from what makes Apple’s design philosophy unique.
Just wanted to share this honest feedback as a long-time user and developer. Thanks for considering!
iPhone:
iPhone 12 pro max, iOS:18.3.1
Step:
Connect CarPlay to my car, after connection success, CarPlay screen is black.
This issue only happens of first time connection;
I have asked OEM factory, they told me because of my iOS version is larger than 17.5, and above this version, will have this issue.
So, I need your help to figure problem and update in new version.

Hi Apple Developers,
I am currently working on a message filtering application and facing issues specifically with filtering RCS (Rich Communication Services) messages. To debug this, I created a sample app that consistently categorizes all incoming messages as "junk." However, the filtering behaviour is inconsistent and not functioning as expected.
Here are the key issues observed during testing on iOS versions 18.2.1 and 18.3:
Inconsistent Filtering Behavior:
When a message is received from an unknown number, it sometimes gets moved to the Junk folder momentarily but is then immediately moved back to the main Messages inbox.
In some cases, the message does not get moved to the Junk folder at all, despite the app returning the verdict as "junk."
Duplicate Contact Tiles:
The Messages app displays two separate conversation tiles for the same mobile number, which is unexpected behavior.
I have attached both a sample app and a screen recording that clearly demonstrates the issue. The recording shows that the app categorizes messages as junk, yet they still end up in the main Messages inbox.
For reference, my carrier partner is T-Mobile. Please let me know if you need any additional information to investigate this issue further.
Looking forward to your insights and guidance.
Best regards,
Rijul Singhal
I’m trying to add a TextField to the toolbar using .principal placement, and I want it to either fill the screen width or expand based on the surrounding content. However, it’s not resizing as expected — the TextField only resizes correctly when I provide a hardcoded width value. This behavior was working fine in previous versions of Xcode, but seems to be broken in Xcode 26. Not sure if this is an intentional change or a bug. i am using iOS26 beta and Xcode 26 beta
struct ContentView: View {
var body: some View {
VStack {
Image(systemName: "globe")
.imageScale(.large)
.foregroundStyle(.tint)
Text("Hello, world!")
}
.padding()
.toolbar {
ToolbarItem(placement: .principal) {
HStack {
TextField("Search", text: .constant(""))
.textFieldStyle(.roundedBorder)
.frame(maxWidth: .infinity)
// .frame(width: 300)
Button("cancel") {
}
}
.frame(maxWidth: .infinity)
}
}
}

On macOS, we have didMountNotification but there doesn't seem to be an equivalent for iOS. Is there a way to be notified when a volume is mounted on iOS? I would like to use it in my iOS app I'm currently porting from macOS, which starts a synchronization from the volume (which has been previously selected in a NSOpenPanel) as soon as it's mounted.
I use .scaleEffect(x: 1, y: -1, anchor: .center) to reverse the messages list, so that the latest message always at the bottom.
This is correct in ios18, but blurred the whole view in ios26.
Complete code:
ScrollView {
Rectangle()
.fill(.clear)
.frame(height: 10)
// if messages.isEmpty {
// MessagesEmpty()
// .padding(.horizontal, 10)
// .scaleEffect(x: 1, y: -1, anchor: .center)
// }
MessageInput(chat: chat)
.padding(.horizontal, 10)
.scaleEffect(x: 1, y: -1, anchor: .center).id("#messag-input-identifier")
LazyVStack(spacing: 10) {
ForEach(messages) { (message: Message) in
MessageItem(message: message,
activation: $activeMessageId,
audioAdapter: AudioAdapter.shared).id(message.id)
}
.padding(.horizontal, 10)
.scaleEffect(x: 1, y: -1, anchor: .center)
}
Rectangle()
.fill(.clear)
.frame(height: 20)
}
.scaleEffect(x: 1, y: -1, anchor: .center)
As shown in the screenshot WechatIMG49.jpg(using ios26beta which is incorrect), WechatIMG50.jpg(using ios18 which is correct) my messages list displays normally on iOS 18, but when using iOS 26 Beta, the entire view is blurred.

Hello!
I have a destination navigation which is TabVIew where each tab item is ScrollView. And when scrolling content of any of tab items is underneath navigation bar its background is always hidden. But at the same time tab bar background is toggled depending on scrolling content position.
I expected it would work with TabView the same as with any other view.
Is it supposed to work like that?
After doing a software update I can only view iMessages older than 12hrs (from a single contact) if the other person replies to and older message. Every time I leave the Massages app and go back in the issue occurs again.
This is a very strange behavior when pushing vc that I have never seen since I started coding. The pushed ViewController is transparent and only navBarTitle is shown. After the push, you can't control anything unless you go back to the home screen.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Long press currency change button below.(currencyWrapper)
Call selectCountry and this bug happens.
SourceCode
let currencyWrapper = UIView()
private func configureCurrencyCard(){
//The strange behavior shows up after long pressing this
currencyWrapper.backgroundColor = .white
currencyWrapper.addTarget(self, action: #selector(changeCurrency))
currencyWrapper.setWidth(currencyChangeIcon.follow(by: 16, x: true))
currencyWrapper.setCenterX(w1/2)
currencyWrapper.setHeight(currencyLabel.follow(by: 12, x: false))
currencyWrapper.roundToCircle(true)
view.addSubview(currencyWrapper)
}
private func selectCountry(country: Country){
let vc = CountryViewController(country: country)
vc.hidesBottomBarWhenPushed = true
navigationController?.pushViewController(vc, animated: true)
}

On macOS, the Finder allows to connect to a server and store the login credentials. When creating a bookmark to a file on a server and resolving it again, the server is mounted automatically (unless I provide the option URL.BookmarkResolutionOptions.withoutMounting).
I just tried connecting to my Mac from my iPad via SMB in the Files app and storing a bookmark to a file on the server, but disconnecting the server and trying to resolve the bookmark throws the error (I translated the English text from Italian):
Error Domain=NSFileProviderErrorDomain Code=-2001 "No file provider was found with the identifier "com.apple.SMBClientProvider.FileProvider"'" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=No file provider was found with the identifier "com.apple.SMBClientProvider.FileProvider"., NSUnderlyingError=0x302a1a340 {Error Domain=NSFileProviderErrorDomain Code=-2013 "(null) "}}
Every time I disconnect and reconnect to the server, selecting the same file returns a different path. The first time I got
/private/var/mobile/Library/LiveFiles/com.apple.filesystems.smbclientd/WtFD3Ausername/path/to/file.txt
The next time WtFD3A changed to EqHc2g and so on.
Is it not possible to automatically mount a server when resolving a bookmark on iOS?
The following code allows to reproduce the issue:
struct ContentView: View {
@State private var isPresentingFilePicker = false
@AppStorage("bookmarkData") private var bookmarkData: Data?
@State private var url: URL?
@State private var stale = false
@State private var error: Error?
var body: some View {
VStack {
Button("Open") {
isPresentingFilePicker = true
}
if let url = url {
Text(url.path)
} else if bookmarkData != nil {
Text("couldn't resolve bookmark data")
} else {
Text("no bookmark data")
}
if stale {
Text("bookmark is stale")
}
if let error = error {
Text("\(error)")
.foregroundStyle(.red)
}
}
.padding()
.fileImporter(isPresented: $isPresentingFilePicker, allowedContentTypes: [.data]) { result in
do {
let url = try result.get()
if url.startAccessingSecurityScopedResource() {
bookmarkData = try url.bookmarkData()
}
} catch {
self.error = error
}
}
.onChange(of: bookmarkData, initial: true) { _, bookmarkData in
if let bookmarkData = bookmarkData {
do {
url = try URL(resolvingBookmarkData: bookmarkData, bookmarkDataIsStale: &stale)
} catch {
self.error = error
}
}
}
}
}
Hi,
We are the developers of an enterprise iOS application for internal distribution.
Since a few hours, we start to receive "(app name) is no longer available" error message and can't open the app.
But the certificate is still valid,
Do you have any advice for an immediate solution?
The target was chosen as IPhone and IPad. I can also run this build on my IPad. The info.plist content of all our other applications is the same and there were no problems until today. I don't understand why it is being rejected now.
I have an app with Message Filtering Extension enabled and I have been experiencing unusual behaviour.
When I send messages from local number to local number, the filtering is done correctly, but when I send messages from certain international number to my local number the messages are not filtered. I couldn't find any errors in Console.
I see that the normalisation is correct, is there any specifications for SMS from certain countries? Or a reason why Message Filtering is not activated when a SMS is received?
We've seen a spike in crashes on iOS 18.4 across both iPhone & iPad. We can't reproduce it, but it looks like it happens when the app goes into the background.
Crash Log
Hi everyone,
I’m currently testing iOS 26 on my iPhone as part of the developer program. According to Apple’s documentation and demo materials, a new screenshot animation was introduced in this version. However, when I take a screenshot on my device, the animation remains the same as in previous iOS versions.
I’ve double-checked that I’m running the correct build of iOS 26, and I haven’t found any settings that might enable or disable this feature.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Could this new animation be device-specific, region-limited, or require additional configuration?
Any insight would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Alonso Rivera
