App review process takes long time
Hello iOS Developer Community, I submitted my app for review on February 19, 2026, and as of today (March 3, 2026), its status in App Store Connect still shows “Waiting for Review.” I contacted Apple Developer Support regarding this delay and received the following automated response: “Thanks for submitting your support request. We’ve received your support request and will get back to you as soon as possible. Your case ID is 102831222355.” It has now been more than ten days without any further communication or status update. Could anyone advise on the appropriate next steps in this situation?

CKQuerySubscription on public database never triggers APNS push in Production environment
Hi everyone, I have a SwiftUI app using CKQuerySubscription on the public database for social notifications (friend requests, recommendations, etc.). Push notifications work perfectly in the Development environment but never fire in Production (TestFlight). Setup: iOS 26.4, Xcode 26, Swift 6 Container: public database, CKQuerySubscription with .firesOnRecordCreation 5 subscriptions verified via CKDatabase.allSubscriptions() registerForRemoteNotifications() called unconditionally on every launch Valid APNS device token received in didRegisterForRemoteNotificationsWithDeviceToken Push Notifications + Background Modes (Remote notifications) capabilities enabled What works: All 5 subscriptions create successfully in Production Records are saved and queryable (in-app CloudKit fetches return them immediately) APNS production push works — tested via Xcode Push Notifications Console with the same device token, notification appeared instantly Everything works perfectly in the Development environment (subscriptions fire, push arrives) What doesn't work: When a record is created that matches a subscription predicate, no APNS push is ever delivered in Production Tested with records created from the app (device to device) and from CloudKit Dashboard — neither triggers push Tried: fresh subscription IDs, minimal NotificationInfo (just alertBody), stripped shouldSendContentAvailable, created an APNs key, toggled Push capability in Xcode, re-deployed schema from dev to prod Additional finding: One of my record types (CompletionNotification) was returning BAD_REQUEST when creating a subscription in Production, despite working in Development. Re-deploying the development schema to production (which reported "no changes") fixed the subscription creation. This suggests the production environment had inconsistent subscription state for that record type, possibly from the type being auto-created by a record save before formal schema deployment. I suspect a similar issue may be affecting the subscription-to-APNS pipeline for all my record types — the subscriptions exist and predicates match, but the production environment isn't wiring them to APNS delivery. Subscription creation code (simplified): let subscription = CKQuerySubscription( recordType: "FriendRequest", predicate: NSPredicate(format: "receiverID == %@ AND status == %@", userID, "pending"), subscriptionID: "fr-sub-v3", options: [.firesOnRecordCreation] ) let info = CKSubscription.NotificationInfo() info.titleLocalizationKey = "Friend Request" info.alertLocalizationKey = "FRIEND_REQUEST_BODY" info.alertLocalizationArgs = ["senderUsername"] info.soundName = "default" info.shouldBadge = true info.desiredKeys = ["senderUsername", "senderID"] info.category = "FRIEND_REQUEST" subscription.notificationInfo = info try await database.save(subscription) Has anyone encountered this? Is there a way to "reset" the subscription-to-APNS pipeline for a production container? I'd really appreciate any guidance on how to resolve and get my push notifications back to normal. Many thanks, Dimitar - LaterRex

Are read-only filesystems currently supported by FSKit?
I'm writing a read-only filesystem extension. I see that the documentation for loadResource(resource:options:replyHandler:) claims that the --rdonly option is supported, which suggests that this should be possible. However, I have never seen this option provided to my filesystem extension, even if I return usableButLimited as a probe result (where it doesn't mount at all - FB19241327) or pass the -r or -o rdonly options to the mount(8) command. Instead I see those options on the volume's activate call. But other than saving that "readonly" state (which, in my case, is always the case) and then throwing on all write-related calls I'm not sure how to actually mark the filesystem as "read-only." Without such an indicator, the user is still offered the option to do things like trash items in Finder (although of course those operations do not succeed since I throw an EROFS error in the relevant calls). It also seems like the FSKit extensions that come with the system handle read-only strangely as well. For example, for a FAT32 filesystem, if I mount it like mount -r -F -t msdos /dev/disk15s1 /tmp/mnt Then it acts... weirdly. For example, Finder doesn't know that the volume is read-only, and lets me do some operations like making new folders, although they never actually get written to disk. Writing may or may not lead to errors and/or the change just disappearing immediately (or later), which is pretty much what I'm seeing in my own filesystem extension. If I remove the -F option (thus using the kernel extension version of msdos), this doesn't happen. Are read-only filesystems currently supported by FSKit? The fact that extensions like Apple's own msdos also seem to act weirdly makes me think this is just a current FSKit limitation, although maybe I'm missing something. It's not necessarily a hard blocker given that I can prevent writes from happening in my FSKit module code (or, in my case, just not implement such features at all), but it does make for a strange experience. (I reported this as FB21068845, although I'm mostly asking here because I'm not 100% sure this is not just me missing something.)

Xcode 26.3 not rendering Unicode/Emoji in Simulator or Canvas
I'm based in Australia, and am having the following issue. After leaving this message I received another response from someone else who is also havign the same issue, I've pasted that too. I'm quite surprised to not see it mentioned, could be local to language settings or something. Here is the issue: Folk, I am having an issue where Xcode 26.3 with the new iOS26.2+26.3.1 Simulator update installed doesn’t render Unicode characters in the Canvas or in Simulator. They do render when running direct to a device. I’ve reset devices inside Simulator, cleared Derived Data, cleaned Build Folders etc but to no avail! Is anyone else seeing this, I can’t find a mention anywhere!! Thank you in advance. Yep. Same here. Can't see emojis on the emoji picker keyboard.

My app doesn't respond on iPhone Air iOS 26.1.
My app doesn't respond on iPhone Air iOS 26.1. After startup, my app shows the main view with a tab bar controller containing 4 navigation controllers. However, when a second-level view controller is pushed onto any navigation controller, the UI freezes and becomes unresponsive. The iPhone simulator running iOS 26.1 exhibits the same problem. The debug profile shows CPU usage at 100%. However, other devices and simulators do not have this problem.

GPTK 3 and D3DMetal issue with Modern Pipeline Creation
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach (v1.0.48.0, Steam) crashes during rendering initialization when running through CrossOver 26 with D3DMetal 3.0 on an Apple M2 Max Mac Studio running macOS Sequoia. The game successfully initializes Streamline, NVAPI, DLSS (Result::eOk), DLSSG (Result::eOk), Reflex, and XeSS — all subsystems report success. The crash occurs immediately after, during rendering pipeline creation, before the game reaches NXStorage initialization or window creation. Minidump analysis confirms the crash is an access violation (0xc0000005) at DS2.exe+0x67233d, writing to address 0x0. RAX=0x0 (null pointer being dereferenced), R12=0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF (error/invalid handle return). The game appears to call a D3D12 API — likely CheckFeatureSupport or a pipeline state creation function — that D3DMetal acknowledges as supported but returns null or invalid data for. The game trusts the response and dereferences the null pointer. Two other Nixxes titles using the same engine and D3DMetal setup run without issue: Spider-Man 2 (~50 FPS) and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered (~34 FPS). DS2 uses newer technology versions (DLSS 4, FSR 4, XeSS 2) and a newer DirectX 12 Agility SDK, which likely queries D3D12 features that D3DMetal does not yet fully implement. The crash also reproduces when D3DMetal reports as AMD vendor (1002) instead of NVIDIA (10de), crashing at the same executable offset, confirming it is a D3D12 feature reporting gap in D3DMetal rather than a vendor-specific issue. URL Filter Network Extension
Hello team, I am trying to find out a way to block urls in the chrome browser if it is found in local blocked list cache. I found URL Filter Network very much suitable for my requirement. But I see at multiple places that this solution is only for Enterprise level or MDM or supervised device. So can I run this for normal user ? as my targeting audience would be bank users. One more thing how can I test this in development environment if we need supervised devices and do we need special entitlement ? When trying to run sample project in the simulator then getting below error

CoreML regression between macOS 26.0.1 and macOS 26.1 Beta causing scrambled tensor outputs
We’ve encountered what appears to be a CoreML regression between macOS 26.0.1 and macOS 26.1 Beta. In macOS 26.0.1, CoreML models run and produce correct results. However, in macOS 26.1 Beta, the same models produce scrambled or corrupted outputs, suggesting that tensor memory is being read or written incorrectly. The behavior is consistent with a low-level stride or pointer arithmetic issue — for example, using 16-bit strides on 32-bit data or other mismatches in tensor layout handling. Reproduction Install ON1 Photo RAW 2026 or ON1 Resize 2026 on macOS 26.0.1. Use the newest Highest Quality resize model, which is Stable Diffusion–based and runs through CoreML. Observe correct, high-quality results. Upgrade to macOS 26.1 Beta and run the same operation again. The output becomes visually scrambled or corrupted. We are also seeing similar issues with another Stable Diffusion UNet model that previously worked correctly on macOS 26.0.1. This suggests the regression may affect multiple diffusion-style architectures, likely due to a change in CoreML’s tensor stride, layout computation, or memory alignment between these versions. Notes The affected models are exported using standard CoreML conversion pipelines. No custom operators or third-party CoreML runtime layers are used. The issue reproduces consistently across multiple machines. It would be helpful to know if there were changes to CoreML’s tensor layout, precision handling, or MLCompute backend between macOS 26.0.1 and 26.1 Beta, or if this is a known regression in the current beta.

CarPlay CPListImageRowItem causes Inverted Scrolling and Side Button malfunction
In my CarPlaySceneDelegate.swift, I have two tabs: The first tab uses a CPListImageRowItem with a CPListImageRowItemRowElement. The scroll direction is inverted, and the side button does not function correctly. The second tab uses multiple CPListItem objects. There are no issues: scrolling works in the correct direction, and the side button behaves as expected. Steps To Reproduce Launch the app. Connect to CarPlay. In the first tab, scroll up and down, then use the side button to navigate. In the second tab, scroll up and down, then use the side button to navigate. As observed, the scrolling behavior is different between the two tabs. Code Example: import CarPlay import UIKit class CarPlaySceneDelegate: UIResponder, CPTemplateApplicationSceneDelegate { var interfaceController: CPInterfaceController? func templateApplicationScene( _ templateApplicationScene: CPTemplateApplicationScene, didConnect interfaceController: CPInterfaceController ) { self.interfaceController = interfaceController downloadImageAndSetupTemplates() } func templateApplicationScene( _ templateApplicationScene: CPTemplateApplicationScene, didDisconnectInterfaceController interfaceController: CPInterfaceController ) { self.interfaceController = nil } private func downloadImageAndSetupTemplates() { let urlString = "https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRcYUjd1FYkF04-8Vb7PKI1mGoF2quLPHKjvnR7V4ReZR8UjW-0NJ_kC7q13eISZGoTCLHaDPVbOthhH9QNq-YA0uuSUjfAoB3PPs1aXQ&s=10" guard let url = URL(string: urlString) else { setupTemplates(with: UIImage(systemName: "photo")!) return } URLSession.shared.dataTask(with: url) { [weak self] data, _, _ in let image: UIImage if let data = data, let downloaded = UIImage(data: data) { image = downloaded } else { image = UIImage(systemName: "photo")! } DispatchQueue.main.async { self?.setupTemplates(with: image) } }.resume() } private func setupTemplates(with image: UIImage) { // Tab 1 : un seul CPListImageRowItem avec 12 CPListImageRowItemRowElement let elements: [CPListImageRowItemRowElement] = (1...12).map { index in CPListImageRowItemRowElement(image: image, title: "test \(index)", subtitle: nil) } let rowItem = CPListImageRowItem(text: "Images", elements: elements, allowsMultipleLines: true) rowItem.listImageRowHandler = { item, elementIndex, completion in print("tapped element \(elementIndex)") completion() } let tab1Section = CPListSection(items: [rowItem]) let tab1Template = CPListTemplate(title: "CPListImageRowItemRowElement", sections: [tab1Section]) // Tab 2 : 12 CPListItem simples let tab2Items: [CPListItem] = (1...12).map { index in let item = CPListItem(text: "Item \(index)", detailText: "Detail \(index)") item.handler = { _, completion in print("handler Tab 2") completion() } return item } let tab2Section = CPListSection(items: tab2Items) let tab2Template = CPListTemplate(title: "CPListItem", sections: [tab2Section]) // CPTabBarTemplate avec les deux tabs let tabBar = CPTabBarTemplate(templates: [tab1Template, tab2Template]) interfaceController?.setRootTemplate(tabBar, animated: true) } } Here is a quick video:

Zoom navigation transitions for tabViewBottomAccessory are not working in SwiftUI with ObservableObject or Observable
The zoom navigation transition with matchedTransitionSource in tabViewBottomAccessory does not work when a Published var in an ObservableObjector Observable gets changed. Here is an minimal reproducible example with ObservableObject: import SwiftUI import Combine private final class ViewModel: ObservableObject { @Published var isPresented = false } struct ContentView: View { @Namespace private var namespace @StateObject private var viewModel = ViewModel() // @State private var isPresented = false var body: some View { TabView { Button { viewModel.isPresented = true } label: { Text("Start") } .tabItem { Image(systemName: "house") Text("Home") } Text("Search") .tabItem { Image(systemName: "magnifyingglass") Text("Search") } Text("Profile") .tabItem { Image(systemName: "person") Text("Profile") } } .sheet(isPresented: $viewModel.isPresented) { Text("Sheet") .presentationDragIndicator(.visible) .navigationTransition(.zoom(sourceID: "tabViewBottomAccessoryTransition", in: namespace)) } .tabViewBottomAccessory { Button { viewModel.isPresented = true } label: { Text("BottomAccessory") } .matchedTransitionSource(id: "tabViewBottomAccessoryTransition", in: namespace) } } } However, when using only a State property everything works: import SwiftUI import Combine private final class ViewModel: ObservableObject { @Published var isPresented = false } struct ContentView: View { @Namespace private var namespace // @StateObject private var viewModel = ViewModel() @State private var isPresented = false var body: some View { TabView { Button { isPresented = true } label: { Text("Start") } .tabItem { Image(systemName: "house") Text("Home") } Text("Search") .tabItem { Image(systemName: "magnifyingglass") Text("Search") } Text("Profile") .tabItem { Image(systemName: "person") Text("Profile") } } .sheet(isPresented: $isPresented) { Text("Sheet") .presentationDragIndicator(.visible) .navigationTransition(.zoom(sourceID: "tabViewBottomAccessoryTransition", in: namespace)) } .tabViewBottomAccessory { Button { isPresented = true } label: { Text("BottomAccessory") } .matchedTransitionSource(id: "tabViewBottomAccessoryTransition", in: namespace) } } }

MTL4FXTemporalDenoisedScaler initialization
I’m trying to use MTL4FXTemporalDenoisedScaler, and I’m seeing a crash during initialization even with a very simple sample app. I created a minimal sample here: https://github.com/tatsuya-ogawa/MetalFXInitExample The exception is: NSException: "-[AGXG16XFamilyHeap baseObject]: unrecognized selector sent to instance ..." What I found is: • This works: descriptor.makeTemporalDenoisedScaler(device: device) • This crashes: descriptor.makeTemporalDenoisedScaler(device: device, compiler: metal4Compiler) So the issue seems to happen only with the Metal4FX version. For testing, I’m using an iPhone 15 Pro. According to the Metal Feature Set Tables, MetalFX denoised upscaling should be supported on Apple9 and later, so I believe the device itself should meet the requirements. Reference: https://developer.apple.com/metal/Metal-Feature-Set-Tables.pdf Has anyone seen this before, or knows what might be causing it? I’d appreciate any advice. Thanks.

How To Reproduce Install Crossover 26+ on MacOS 26.4 Install Steam and download Death Stranding 2 Run Death Stranding 2 and check logs after crash in Documents\DEATH STRANDING 2 ON THE BEACH Feedback Requests FB22285513 — Game Porting Toolkit 3 issue with Modern Pipeline Creation

RealityView camera feed not shown
I have two RealityView: ParentView and When click the button in ParentView, ChildView will be shown as full screen cover, but the camera feed in ChildView will not be shown, only black screen. If I show ChildView directly, it works with camera feed. Please help me on this issue? Thanks. import RealityKit import SwiftUI struct ParentView: View{ @State private var showIt = false var body: some View{ ZStack{ RealityView{content in content.camera = .virtual let box = ModelEntity(mesh: MeshResource.generateSphere(radius: 0.2),materials: [createSimpleMaterial(color: .red)]) content.add(box) } Button("Click here"){ showIt = true } } .fullScreenCover(isPresented: $showIt){ ChildView() .overlay( Button("Close"){ showIt = false }.padding(20), alignment: .bottomLeading ) } .ignoresSafeArea(.all) } } import ARKit import RealityKit import SwiftUI struct ChildView: View{ var body: some View{ RealityView{content in content.camera = .spatialTracking } } }

SceneKit is now deprecated - when it will be removed?
Now that SceneKit has been marked as soft deprecated, is there a planned date or timeframe when it will be completely removed from iOS? I’m concerned about how long my existing SceneKit-based game will continue to work, especially as an indie developer without the resources for a quick rewrite to RealityKit.

KDK for recent MacOS Sequoia versions (15.6, 15.7RC)
The most recent KDK for MacOS Sequoia that appears in the Downloads is for MacOS 15.5 (24F74), but the current version of MacOS Sequoia is 15.6 (24G84) and 15.7 (24G207) is in RC. Is there an ETA for the KDKs for 15.6 (24G84) and 15.7 (24G207) to be made available to download? Many thanks for any help.

Zoom navigation transitions for tabViewBottomAccessory are not working in SwiftUI with ObservableObject or Observable
The zoom navigation transition with matchedTransitionSource in tabViewBottomAccessory does not work when a Published var in an ObservableObjector Observable gets changed. Here is an minimal reproducible example with ObservableObject: import SwiftUI import Combine private final class ViewModel: ObservableObject { @Published var isPresented = false } struct ContentView: View { @Namespace private var namespace @StateObject private var viewModel = ViewModel() // @State private var isPresented = false var body: some View { TabView { Button { viewModel.isPresented = true } label: { Text("Start") } .tabItem { Image(systemName: "house") Text("Home") } Text("Search") .tabItem { Image(systemName: "magnifyingglass") Text("Search") } Text("Profile") .tabItem { Image(systemName: "person") Text("Profile") } } .sheet(isPresented: $viewModel.isPresented) { Text("Sheet") .presentationDragIndicator(.visible) .navigationTransition(.zoom(sourceID: "tabViewBottomAccessoryTransition", in: namespace)) } .tabViewBottomAccessory { Button { viewModel.isPresented = true } label: { Text("BottomAccessory") } .matchedTransitionSource(id: "tabViewBottomAccessoryTransition", in: namespace) } } } However, when using only a State property everything works: import SwiftUI import Combine private final class ViewModel: ObservableObject { @Published var isPresented = false } struct ContentView: View { @Namespace private var namespace // @StateObject private var viewModel = ViewModel() @State private var isPresented = false var body: some View { TabView { Button { isPresented = true } label: { Text("Start") } .tabItem { Image(systemName: "house") Text("Home") } Text("Search") .tabItem { Image(systemName: "magnifyingglass") Text("Search") } Text("Profile") .tabItem { Image(systemName: "person") Text("Profile") } } .sheet(isPresented: $isPresented) { Text("Sheet") .presentationDragIndicator(.visible) .navigationTransition(.zoom(sourceID: "tabViewBottomAccessoryTransition", in: namespace)) } .tabViewBottomAccessory { Button { isPresented = true } label: { Text("BottomAccessory") } .matchedTransitionSource(id: "tabViewBottomAccessoryTransition", in: namespace) } } }

Bottom toolbar Button truncated on Mac Catalyst 26
On Mac Catalyst 26, a Button bar item in a bottom toolbar look squished. This happens only when the "Mac Catalyst Interface" option is set to "Optimize for Mac". When it is set to "Scale to match iPad", the buttons look fine. For example, in the screenshots below, the text button should say "Press Me", instead of "…" A simple reproducible snippet and a screenshot below. The toolbar button comparison between "Scale to match iPad" and "Optimize for Mac" are shown.
Thanks.
