iOS doesn't handle incoming call of Local PUSH when receiving a Local PUSH after receiving an APNs PUSH
I am developing an application that uses NetworkExtension (Local PUSH function) And VoIP(APNs) PUSH. Nowadays, I found a problem on this app doesn't handle incoming call of Local PUSH when receiving a Local PUSH after receiving an APNs PUSH. My confimation result of my app and server log is below. 11:00 AM: my server(PBX) requests a VoIP(APNs) PUSH notification to the APNs. But my app does not receive the VoIP(APNs) PUSH. At this time, my app is running on LAN (Wi-Fi without internet connection), as a result, NetworkExtension was running. so I think this is normal behaviour. 14:55:11 PM: There is an incoming call from the my server(PBX) via local net, and NetworkExtension calls iOS API(API name is reportIncomingCall). However, iOS does not call the delegate didReceiveIncomingCallWithUserInfo for the reportIncomingCall. 14:55:11 PM: At almost the same time, iOS calls the delegate cdidReceiveIncomingPushWithPayload of VoIP PUSH. (instead of call the delegate didReceiveIncomingCallWithUserInfo for the reportIncomingCall?) And the content of this VoIP(APNs) PUSH was the incoming call at "11:00 AM". In other words, the VoIP(APNs) PUSH at 11:00 AM is stuck inside iOS, and at 14:55:11 PM, from NetworkExtension reports it. I feel there is a problem on iOS doesn't handle incoming call of Local PUSH when receiving a Local PUSH after receiving an VoIP(APNs) PUSH. Would you tell me Apple's opioion about this? If this is known problem, Please tell me about it.

Am I allowed to use Speech framework on Swift Student Challenge?
Hello! I would like to use Speech Framework on my App Playground for this year challenge. But I still can't understand if I am allowed to use it to respect the rule of "not rely on a network connection". That's why: Speech framework can use on-device Speech recognition – No internet connection needed ✅. But it can ask to download an Apple's native language package to use it for this on-device recognition – To get this, you need to be connected to the Internet ❌. When I try to add a Speech Recognition Capabilities on my App Playground, its' description says: "Required to perform speech recognition using Apple's servers." (screenshot is attached). Does it mean that I won't be able to use on-device recognition on my App Playground? – And therefore, only online-version of this framework is available and I can't use it to participate on the challenge successfully❓. If it's possible, could you please make it clearer? This framework is crucial for my App Playground and I really need this to make it work. Thanks for your help in advance! And a have a good day!

Content Filter Permission Prompt Not Appearing in TestFlight
I added a Content Filter to my app, and when running it in Xcode (Debug/Release), I get the expected permission prompt: "Would like to filter network content (Allow / Don't Allow)". However, when I install the app via TestFlight, this prompt doesn’t appear at all, and the feature doesn’t work. Is there a special configuration required for TestFlight? Has anyone encountered this issue before? Thanks!

When updating a VPN app with `includeAllNetworks`, the newer instance of the packet tunnel is not started via on-demand rules
When installing a new version the app while a tunnel is connected, seemingly the old packet tunnel process gets stopped but the new one does not come back up. Reportedly, a path monitor is reporting that the device has no connectivity. Is this the expected behavior? When installing an update from TestFlight or the App store, the packet tunnel instance from the old tunnel is stopped, but, due to the profile being on-demand and incldueAllNetworks, the path monitoring believes the device has no connectivity - so the new app is never downloaded. Is this the expected behavior? During development, the old packet tunnel gets stopped, the new app is installed, but the new packet tunnel is never started. To start it, the user has to toggle the VPN twice from the Settings app. The tunnel could be started from the VPN app too, if we chose to not take the path monitor into account, but then the user still needs to attempt to start the tunnel twice - it only works on the second try. As far as we can tell, the first time around, the packet tunnel never gets started, the app receives an update about NEVPNStatus being set to disconnecting yet NEVPNConnection does not throw. The behavior I was naively expecting was that the packet tunnel process would be stopped only when the new app is fully downloaded and when the update is installed, Are we doing something horribly wrong here?

iOS app not getting killed after removing from app stack manually.
I am having an app in which we are using NEHotspotHelper to detect wifi changes. when I try to kill the app and network change detected, we are seeing logs in NEHotspotHelper* module and after that we are able see the logs indicating app launched in background. [Application] application(_:didFinishLaunchingWithOptions:), UIApplicationState: 2 But when I checked in the app stack, I couldn't find the app. Then I clicked icon to launch the app, it launched without splash screen as if it came from background. Need your support to understand this is expected behaviour.

Unable to transfer app to another account
Among requirements to transfer app there is one called "clear all builds and testers and empty all fields under Test Information" under TestFlight but it seems there has been an update to appstore internal code as now I simply can't clear any field under Test Information as error pop ups "There are one or more errors on page." requiring me to fill them. How do I transfer apps now?

dlopen problems with debug build, macOS SDK 15, and ASAN
Hello, There seems to be a regression with macOS SDK 15 and dynamically loading libraries if Address Sanitizer is turned on. Seems to only affect Debug builds, and .frameworks. I've also reported this via the Feedback Assistant: FB16513866 Here's a minimal repro, if anyone is interested: https://gist.github.com/peter-esik/6b00432e411be85333e14ae7d953966e I thought I'd post this here, as according to my web searches, this isn't a very well-known bug at this point.

Issue with app not waking up intermittently due to Pushkit (VOIP)
I am developing a VoIP service. Usually, when receiving a VoIP Push, Callkit is exposed immediately after receiving the message and the app is designed to be used. However, there is an extremely intermittent phenomenon (not well reproduced) where the app does not wake up even when receiving a VoIP Push. And after a long time, the app wakes up and Callkit is activated. (A long time after receiving the call…) Has anyone experienced the above phenomenon? I wonder if there are any reported parts depending on the OS version. (I have identified that it does not occur in the 17.x version, but it is difficult to guarantee because it occurs extremely intermittently) The app is not running in the background, but... Could this be happening if there are a lot of pending operations in the background? I need help urgently

Push-to-Start Live Activity Background Task Issue After App Termination
Desired Behavior I want the app to be able to handle multiple Push-to-Start notifications even when it is completely terminated. Each Live Activity should: Be successfully displayed upon receiving a Push-to-Start notification. Trigger background tasks to send its update token to the server, regardless of the time interval between notifications. Problem I am facing an issue with iOS Live Activities when using Push-to-Start notifications to trigger Live Activities in an app that has been completely terminated. Here’s the detailed scenario: When the app is completely terminated and I send the first Push-to-Start notification: The Live Activity is successfully displayed. didFinishLaunchingWithOptions` is triggered, and background tasks execute correctly, including sending the update token to the server. When I send consecutive Push-to-Start notifications in quick succession (e.g., within a few seconds or minutes): Both notifications successfully display their respective Live Activities. Background tasks are executed correctly for both notifications. However, when there is a longer interval (e.g., 10 minutes) between two Push-to-Start notifications: The first notification works perfectly—it displays the Live Activity, triggers didFinishLaunchingWithOptions, and executes background tasks. The second notification successfully displays the Live Activity but fails to execute any background tasks, such as sending the update token to the server. My HypothesisI suspect that iOS might impose a restriction where background runtime for Push-to-Start notifications can only be granted once within a certain time frame after the app has been terminated. Any insights into why this issue might be occurring or how to ensure consistent background task execution for multiple Push-to-Start notifications would be greatly appreciated!

No access to developer resources as administrator
We are currently experiencing the following: Developers who are invited to Appstore Connect in the "Administrator" role and are members of the development team no longer have access to the team's developer resources at https://developer.apple.com Even after deleting the user and a new invitation, there is no access to the developer resources. The problem has existed since yesterday and can be traced in several developer accounts.

Spam 4.3 (a)
Hello everyone, I’ve reached out to Apple’s review team multiple times, but unfortunately, I haven’t received any clear or specific guidance on why my app was rejected. My app has been rejected several times with the reason “Spam” under guideline 4.3, and I still don't understand exactly which part of the app is problematic. Even after providing the necessary information about the data, I resubmitted the app, and after a few days, it quickly moved into "In Review" status, but then was rejected within seconds with the same “Spam” message. I have sent over 13 messages asking for specific feedback, and all I get are vague responses saying “It’s spam, refer to 4.3, fix your app, and resubmit.” However, when I review the guidelines, I don’t see any specific reasons for rejection that apply to my app. I’m particularly confused because my app is a VPN, and when I check the guidelines, I see that apps in categories like dating and others are saturated, but VPN apps are not. My app uses completely dedicated servers, and the IP addresses are not found in any other apps. Still, my app keeps getting rejected. If anyone has encountered a similar issue or has any insight into what might be causing this, I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide detailed guidance on what specifically needs to be changed to get the app approved. Thank you!

NSTextLineFragment crash - how to debug
We have crash reports as shown below that we haven't yet been able to repro and could use some help deubgging. My guess is that the app is giving a label or text view an attributed string with an invalid attribute range, but attributed strings are used in many places throughout the app, and I don't know an efficient way to track this down. I'm posting the stack trace here in hopes that someone more familiar with the internals of the system frameworks mentioned will be able to provide a clue to help narrow where I should look. Remove support for ipad issue
Hi, I uploaded my app to TestFlight and released but mistakenly enabled support for iPads. However, the app does not support iPads, and whenever I submit it for approval, the App Store rejects it due to design issues. When I disable iPad support and re-upload it to TestFlight, I get an error stating that it does not support the previously uploaded platforms. Can anyone please guide me how can i disable it any way around?

Issue related to APNS is delivering expired voip push notification.
Hi, am facing an issue related to voip push notifications getting delivered 1-2 hours after apns-expiration to 0 and apns-priority to 10. I had raised a similar post got a reply that it may be due to network delay. But network delay can cause the delivery of voip push to be delayed only by few seconds or minutes. But in our case voip push is getting delivered hours after the voip call was attempted. Steps to reproduce: Put our voip app in background and lock iPhone. As app is put in background, socket connections gets disconnected from server. Now if a caller makes call to this app, the call should be delivered through voip push. 2) Voip push should ideally be received even if app is in background and iPhone is locked. It is connected to a good wifi network. But it does not receive the voip push. 3) After 1-2 hours user unlocks iPhone and opens voip app. As soon as user opens app, the voip push is received and phone starts ringing.

TESTFLIGHT: The requested app is not available or doesn t exist
Hello, I created an app using the latest version of Xcode (16.2), and I'm having a problem testing this app on my iPhones. I created this app just like all the others I've made for my clients, including one on (03/24/25), but when I went to upload another App to App Store Connect on (03/26/25) I couldn't test it on my phone. Points to consider: The app runs perfectly on the Emulator. All my terms and agreements with Apple are up to date. I tried to download the apps through Testflight on 2 different devices, iPhone 7 Plus (iOS 15.8.1) and iPhone 15 Pro Max (iOS 18.3.2), and I was unsuccessful in neither attempt. I can send my app to the internal testers, but when I click download, the following message appears: Could not install [APP NAME]. The requested App is not available or doesn't exist. I imagine this problem is with Apple itself, I have already contacted support, but I need to resolve this urgently for my customers. Has anyone experienced this and resolved it?

Animation does not work with List, while works with ScrollView + ForEach
Why there is a working animation with ScrollView + ForEach of items removal, but there is none with List? ScrollView + ForEach: struct ContentView: View { @State var items: [String] = Array(1...5).map(\.description) var body: some View { ScrollView(.vertical) { ForEach(items, id: \.self) { item in Text(String(item)) .frame(maxWidth: .infinity, minHeight: 50) .background(.gray) .onTapGesture { withAnimation(.linear(duration: 0.1)) { items = items.filter { $0 != item } } } } } } } List: struct ContentView: View { @State var items: [String] = Array(1...5).map(\.description) var body: some View { List(items, id: \.self) { item in Text(String(item)) .frame(maxWidth: .infinity, minHeight: 50) .background(.gray) .onTapGesture { withAnimation(.linear(duration: 0.1)) { items = items.filter { $0 != item } } } } } }```

The identity used to sign the executable is no longer valid
Hi there, When I deploy my app to the iPhone for testing, I get the following error: Failed to verify code signature of /var/installd/Library/Caches/com.apple.mobile.installd.staging/temp.4gpZFc/extracted/c_mll.app : 0xe8008018 (The identity used to sign the Please ensure that the certificates used to sign your app have not expired. If this issue persists, please attach an IPA of your app when sending a report to Apple. executable is no longer valid.) My account was mistakenly deactivated by Apple last month. After appealing, Apple restored it at the end of last month. Currently, my Apple Developer account seems to be working fine. Today, I recreated the developer certificate and identifier, added the account in XCode, everything seemed fine, and I clicked the XCode button (Start the active scheme). The build was successful, but I got the error: Failed to verify code signature of /var/installd/Library/Caches/com.apple.mobile.installd.staging/temp.4gpZFc/extracted/c_mll.app : 0xe8008018 (The identity used to sign the executable is no longer valid.) Both my certificate and identifier were created just a few hours ago and show no issues. Before my account was deactivated, everything was working fine. I used a regular non-Apple developer account in XCode and performed the same steps, and it worked fine. I looked at relevant posts on the forum and tried the suggestions, but none of them solved my problem.
