W-9 shown for single-member US LLC owned by a non-US individual — should be W-8BEN (disregarded entity)
Hello! I have a new organization-level Apple Developer account and I'm stuck on the Tax Forms step in App Store Connect (https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/business). The system is showing me U.S. Form W-9 as the only option, but in my case filling out a W-9 would be incorrect — and I'd appreciate guidance from anyone who has resolved this. My setup: I am a non-US individual (not a US citizen, not a US resident, never lived in the US). I am the sole owner of a single-member LLC registered in the US (set up via Firstbase specifically to distribute a mobile app). For US federal tax purposes, this LLC is a disregarded entity — it's not treated as a separate taxpayer from its owner. Why W-9 is not the correct form in my case: The IRS instructions for Form W-9 explicitly state: "If the owner of the disregarded entity is a foreign person, the owner must complete an appropriate Form W-8 instead of a Form W-9. This is the case even if the foreign person has a U.S. TIN." Form W-9 also requires me to certify, under penalty of perjury, that I am a US person — which I am not. The LLC itself doesn't certify anything on a W-9 because it's disregarded; the IRS looks through to the beneficial owner, who in my case is a foreign individual. The correct form for me should be W-8BEN (Certificate of Foreign Status of Beneficial Owner — Individuals). What I've already tried: I opened two support cases 4 days ago and have not received a substantive response yet: Apple Developer Support — Case ID: 20000112974233 Ack Tax / Tax category settings — Team ID: 7YYWN3MYCY, Case ID: 19944616 My questions: Has anyone in the same situation (non-US individual, sole owner of a US single-member LLC) successfully switched the tax form from W-9 to W-8BEN inside App Store Connect? If so, how? Is there a specific path in the Business / Tax Forms section to declare the beneficial owner as a foreign individual that I might be missing? Is there an escalation channel beyond the standard support cases for tax-form issues that are blocking onboarding? Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Fluto AI Stuck in "Waiting for Review" for 17 Days — Apple ID: 6762746586
Hi App Review Team, My app Fluto AI: Anime & Art Painter (Apple ID: 6762746586) has been in "Waiting for Review" for 17 days with no update. Quick timeline: the app was previously approved but unpublished. After minor changes I resubmitted, it was rejected and a demo video was requested. I added the public video URL to App Review Notes and resubmitted. Since then, no movement, no messages in Resolution Center, no response to my support case or expedited review request. Could someone please confirm if there's a blocker or any additional information needed? Happy to provide anything immediately. Thank you.

Concern Regarding App Stuck in "Waiting for Review" 40 Days
Hello, I honestly don’t understand what’s going on with my app review. My app was already approved before, and I submitted a new build on April 7th with some new features and important bug fixes. Since then, it has been stuck on “Waiting for Review” with absolutely no update. It’s been 40 days now, which is honestly unacceptable. I even submitted an expedited review request, but that didn’t help either. The worst part is that this build contains bug fixes for users, and the delay is directly affecting the app experience. Waiting this long without any response or progress is really frustrating. Can someone from Apple please look into this and help resolve it ASAP? Thank you.

Concern Regarding Multiple Apps Stuck in “Waiting for Review” Status
Hello, I’m hoping to get some advice regarding several app submissions that have been stuck in the “Waiting for Review” stage for an extended amount of time, along with another case where I have not received any follow-up after a rejection. Here’s a breakdown of the situation: My first app was submitted as a new application on April 30, 2026. Shortly after submission, it received an automated rejection asking for more information about the app’s functionality. I responded the same day on 30th April, by uploading a detailed feature demonstration video and resubmitted the app. Since then, the status has remained unchanged at “Waiting for Review” with no additional communication. The second app was also submitted on April 30, 2026, and received a similar automated rejection requesting clarification about certain features. I provided a detailed explanation video and resubmitted it on May 1, 2026. After waiting several days without any response, I temporarily rejected the submission from my side to make some metadata adjustments, then submitted it again on May 8, 2026. It is still stuck in “Waiting for Review” with no updates so far. I also submitted another app on May 14, 2026. This one is currently showing the same “Waiting for Review” status. I additionally requested an expedited review because the release includes important bug fixes, but there has been no progress yet. At this point, the ongoing delays across multiple apps are starting to seriously affect my business operations, especially due to the absence of any communication or timeline from the review team. If anyone has recently dealt with a similar issue or knows of any effective escalation channels to request a status update, I would truly appreciate your guidance. Thank you in advance for any help. Kind regards Jannat Tariq

TestFlight: "The requested app is not available or doesn't exist" - Cannot install any build for over a week
Hello everyone, I've been unable to install any TestFlight build on my device for over a week. Every build shows "Complete" in App Store Connect, but installation always fails with the same error. I also submitted a support ticket to Apple Developer Support over a week ago but have not received any response. I'm posting here hoping someone from the community or Apple team can help. Error Message "The requested app is not available or doesn't exist" (Turkish: "İstenen uygulama kullanılamıyor veya yok") Environment Device: iPhone 17 Pro Max iOS: 26.4.2 App: Easyway Digital Library Bundle ID: com.abacusai.turkishsocialme.t1777823268 Build Framework: React Native (Expo SDK 54) What I've Tried (Nothing Works) ✅ Multiple builds uploaded (build 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) — all show "Complete" ✅ Deleted and reinstalled TestFlight app ✅ Signed out and back into Apple ID on device ✅ Restarted iPhone ✅ Tried different browsers (Safari, Chrome, Firefox) ✅ Tried Internal Testing — receive email but can't install ✅ Tried External Testing — same error ✅ Tried creating Public Link — same error ✅ Cleared browser cache, tried Incognito mode ✅ Verified Export Compliance (ITSAppUsesNonExemptEncryption: false) ✅ Paid Apps Agreement: Active ✅ Free Apps Agreement: Active ✅ Bank & Tax info: Complete Build Status in App Store Connect Version & Build: 1.0.1 (8) Status: Complete Date Created: May 15, 2026 Timeline May 8, 2026: First build uploaded — same error started May 10, 2026: Paid Apps Agreement activated May 15, 2026: Still the same error after 8 builds Apple Support — No Response Submitted a support ticket on approximately May 8, 2026 Category: App Store Connect & TestFlight Issue: Cannot install builds via TestFlight Status: No response received after over 1 week No case number update, no email reply Questions Has anyone experienced this with a new app on TestFlight? Is there a known issue with TestFlight and new Bundle IDs? Could this be related to the Paid Apps Agreement activation delay? Is there a way to reset the TestFlight state for a Bundle ID? How can I escalate my support ticket if there's no response? I'm completely stuck — I cannot test my app at all. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

App Store Connect - BitCode
Earlier in iTunes Connect we had a settings for enable bitcode which will recompile our app. This setting is no longer active/present for iOS , could you please confirm? https://developer.apple.com/documentation/xcode-release-notes/xcode-14-release-notes Starting with Xcode 14, bitcode is no longer required for watchOS and tvOS applications, and the App Store no longer accepts bitcode submissions from Xcode 14. Xcode no longer builds bitcode by default and generates a warning message if a project explicitly enables bitcode: “Building with bitcode is deprecated. Please update your project and/or target settings to disable bitcode.” The capability to build with bitcode will be removed in a future Xcode release. IPAs that contain bitcode will have the bitcode stripped before being submitted to the App Store. Debug symbols can only be downloaded from App Store Connect / TestFlight for existing bitcode submissions and are no longer available for submissions made with Xcode 14. (86118779)

App invisible in BOTH App Store search AND Apple Search Ads — Apple Support refuses to disclose violation flag (38 days)
Posting to document a case that matches a pattern of unresolved reports on this forum (e.g. thread #815203 "Brutal Time"), with the addition of new evidence: my app is missing from both the App Store search index and the Apple Search Ads campaign-creation index. Setup App: ZenTerm (App ID 6760935103, Bundle ID com.zenterm.mobile) Developer: Individual (Japan) Released: 2026-03-31 (live for 45 days) Status: Ready for Sale, 1.3.2 live (released 2026-05-06) App name: pure ASCII, coined word, no other apps share the name Symptoms Channel Result App Store app, search "zenterm" (exact name) Zero results, 38 days running iTunes Search API (https://itunes.apple.com/search?term=zenterm&country=jp) Returns my app correctly Direct App Store URL Opens product page normally Apple Search Ads — search by app name Zero candidates Apple Search Ads — paste canonical App Store URL Zero candidates The absence from both the App Store search index and the Apple Search Ads selection index is the key new finding. Since these run on separate infrastructure, the issue cannot be attributed to ranking, keyword suppression for a single field, or category-level competition — it indicates the app is missing from a more fundamental application-index layer. Apple's own documentation implies a silent violation flag Apple Search Ads help, "If your app does not appear as a promotion option," lists 6 possible causes. After ruling out 5 of them as not applicable, only one remains: "App cannot be promoted on Apple Ads — advertising policy violation, App Store guideline violation, or placement unavailability." So per Apple's own published documentation, a policy-violation flag is silently active on this app. Yet: No notification has ever been delivered to the developer about which guideline or policy is flagged No App Review communication in App Store Connect references this Apple Support refuses to disclose anything (see below) Apple Support timeline Date Action Outcome 2026-04-11 1st written inquiry via developer.apple.com/contact Templated reply 4 days later: "App Store charts and search results change regularly and we don't guarantee app placement." Misses the point — the issue isn't ranking, it's zero results for an exact-name match on a coined word. 2026-04-14 2nd written inquiry, explicitly framing this as an indexing issue not a ranking issue Ignored for 24 days 2026-05-08 Phone call to Apple Support "We cannot provide any answer regarding this case." When asked if there's any path forward, agent confirmed: "We cannot answer." 2026-05-08 3rd written inquiry (with Apple Search Ads evidence and cross-reference to Apple's own help documentation indicating a silent policy-violation flag) Ignored for 7 days as of today, despite Apple's stated SLA of "within 2 business days" on the contact form Self-remediation already attempted Per public guidance that trademark keywords are the most common silent-suppression trigger, I proactively released version 1.3.2 on 2026-05-06 with all third-party trademarks removed from the keywords field (Claude, Codex, Copilot, Mac mini, Raspberry Pi → replaced with generic alternatives). Description and other surfaces were also reviewed for trademark density. The Apple Search Ads diagnostic above was performed after this remediation. The app is still missing. What I'm looking for from this forum Anyone who has had this resolved: by what mechanism? (DTS Incident, Organization-account migration, escalation contact, reindex after specific change, etc.) Anyone willing to corroborate the same symptoms: especially the Apple Search Ads selection-index absence, which seems to be the strongest evidence that this is a backend infrastructure problem rather than a metadata problem Apple staff: please escalate to the App Store search infrastructure team and/or the Apple Search Ads team to reconcile the indexes for this Bundle ID, or at minimum disclose the specific policy violation flag you have on this app so the developer can address it Related thread Thread #815203 ("Brutal Time - App not appearing in App Store search") documents an identical symptom set, unresolved for 6+ weeks despite multiple inquiries and engineering-callback promises. I've added a follow-up reply there as well. The pattern is consistent enough that this should be treated as a systemic issue, not isolated cases.

No Response from Appeal or Support
I'm hoping someone can help me get clarity on my app submission for LinkUp, an iMessage-native group scheduling app. Here's the timeline: • Initial rejection (~1 month ago): Rejected under 4.3(a) for "duplicating functionality of other apps" • I updated screenshots, app description, and submitted again • For the past 2 weeks the app has been stuck with no meaningful response from App Review • I have called Apple support, submitted messages through the Resolution Center, and filed an App Review Board appeal — but I have received no confirmation email for the appeal and it does not appear on my developer support request page What LinkUp actually does: it lets friend groups coordinate availability entirely inside iMessage. Users send a schedule card as a message bubble, and participants vote on availability directly in the conversation thread — no redirects, no external app required. The heatmap updates in the bubble as people respond. To my knowledge, nothing on the App Store does this.

Apps Stuck in "Waiting for Review" for 3 Months , No Response from Appeal or Support
Hello everyone, I'm reaching out to see if anyone has experienced a similar situation or can offer any guidance. I have several apps that have been stuck in "Waiting for Review" for an unusually extended period, and one additional case where I am awaiting a response after a rejection. Here is a brief timeline: • One app was originally submitted on February 5, 2026. After receiving no response, it was resubmitted on March 26, 2026, and is still showing "Waiting for Review." • Another app was resubmitted on February 10, 2026, after addressing all feedback from a prior rejection. It has had no status change since. • A third app was resubmitted on February 5, 2026. It was rejected, and I replied to the rejection with the required information, but I have not received any response since. Steps I have already taken: • Submitted an appeal – no response received • Contacted App Review support – no response received This prolonged delay across multiple apps is seriously affecting my business and I am running out of options. Has anyone dealt with a similar situation recently? Is there any other official channel or escalation path available to get a status update? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Mapping settled Partner Share to individual subscribers via API
We are integrating with the App Store Connect API to automate ingestion of monthly revenue data for our app (MUBI), and are trying to understand whether there is a report available via the API that provides settled financial data at the individual subscriber level. From our research so far: v1/financeReports with reportType=FINANCE_DETAIL (region Z1) gives us actual settled Partner Share and Extended Partner Share at Transaction Date granularity, but rows are aggregated by SKU + Country + Date, there is no subscriber or individual transaction identifier v1/salesReports with reportType=SUBSCRIBER gives us an anonymised Subscriber ID and Developer Proceeds per billing event, but Developer Proceeds is an estimate using rolling average exchange rates and does not reflect actual settled amounts or withholding tax deductions The App Store Server API (/inApps/v2/history/{transactionId}) provides price and currency per transaction per customer, but requires a transactionId per user, is not designed for bulk analytical pulls, and again does not expose settled Partner Share Is there a report or endpoint we have missed that provides settled Partner Share at the individual subscriber or transaction level? Or is the separation of financial settlement data from subscriber identifiers a deliberate platform decision, e.g. for privacy reasons? Any guidance or suggestions on the recommended approach for reconciling subscriber-level data with actual settled revenue would be much appreciated.

First subscription stuck in "Developer Action Needed", no IAP section on version page, reviewer hits "product is not available for purchase" — works fine on my own TestFlight install
I'm preparing my first App Store submission and have hit a chain of issues that appear to be backend state problems I can't resolve from the App Store Connect UI. I've already opened a DTS case but wanted to ask here in case anyone has seen this combination before. Setup: iOS app with first-time subscriptions (auto-renewable, 7-day free trial) Two products: bitcoinhq_pro_monthly and bitcoinhq_pro_annual Both in the same subscription group "Bitcoin HQ Pro" Paid Apps Agreement is Active Bundle ID, prices (all 175 territories including United States), intro offers ("Free for the first week" in all territories), localizations all configured Important context: On my own iPad (TestFlight build, signed into my normal sandbox account), the full flow works perfectly — paywall loads on first launch after install, both products show with correct prices, tapping Subscribe opens the StoreKit sheet, purchase completes, the entitlement grants, and Pro features unlock. So the app code and RevenueCat configuration are working. The issues below appear to be App Store Connect backend state problems. The issues, in the order I hit them: bitcoinhq_pro_monthly is stuck in "Developer Action Needed." I cannot identify which field is flagged — all required sections (price, availability, localization, screenshot, review notes, tax category) appear complete. Cannot save edits to the English (U.S.) localization for the monthly subscription. The localization editor returns: "There was an error with editing your App Store localization. Try again later." This has persisted across multiple browsers (Safari, Chrome, incognito), sign-out/sign-in cycles, multiple days, with Apple System Status reporting all services green, and with the description retyped manually rather than pasted. Cannot submit the monthly subscription standalone. Clicking "Submit for Review" returns: "Your subscription cannot be submitted for review. Your first subscription must be submitted with a new app version." The annual subscription is in "Waiting for Review" — saved successfully when first created. The "In-App Purchases and Subscriptions" section is missing from my App Version 1.0 page. Per ASC's own messaging, this is where I'm supposed to attach my first subscriptions before submitting the version. The section is not present anywhere on the version page. Reviewer rejection with "The product is not available for purchase." App Review Guideline 2.1(b). Tapping Subscribe in the reviewer's environment results in this StoreKit error on iPad Air 11" M3 / iPadOS 26.4.2 — but the same build on my own devices completes the purchase without issue. My read: issues 1–4 appear to be a single backend state problem with the monthly product or subscription group. Issue 5 appears to be downstream — sandbox returns the products for fetch but refuses the purchase from the reviewer's clean environment because the product isn't in a properly submittable state. Has anyone seen this combination? Any way to surface the "In-App Purchases and Subscriptions" section, or work around the localization save error? Or is the only path through DTS? Thanks in advance.

Vision Pro App Development Outside Supported Countries (Apple ID / Region Restrictions?)
Hello, does anyone have experience using Apple Vision Pro in countries where it has not yet been officially released? I work for a company in Austria, and we are interested in developing internal XR applications for Vision Pro. Since the device is not officially available in Austria, we are considering purchasing it in Germany. My main question is whether it is possible to develop and test Vision Pro apps using an Austrian Apple ID / developer account, or if there are any regional restrictions we should be aware of (e.g., related to App Store access, provisioning, or device functionality). Apple Support was unfortunately unable to provide a definitive answer and recommended asking here. Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Best regards, Don Appelonie

My enrollment request (H9V8P25F67) has been accepted, but now I'm getting a Sign In error in App Store Connect
The epic saga of registering an Apple Developer Account for my company seems to have been successfully resolved. The full story can be read here My account has been approved, I've paid the membership fee, and everything appears to be in order. Huge thanks to everyone, especially the Apple staff members who didn't stay indifferent and went out of their way to help. Current status: My developer account is active. I can sign in to https://developer.apple.com/account and see that everything looks fine - there are no pending actions on my side (no agreements to sign, etc.), and the account appears completely normal. However, when I try to sign in to App Store Connect, I get the following error: To access App Store Connect, you must be an individual or team member in the Apple Developer Program, or invited by an individual to access their content in App Store Connect. (https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/login?errorKey=ITC.signin.error.invalidUser.asc) I'm attaching a screenshot. What I've already tried: Clearing browser cache, trying different browsers and devices, and waiting for some time — none of this helped. On May 9, I submitted a support request (Case ID: 20000112974233), but I still haven't received a response. My guess is that my account may have exhausted its Apple Developer Support request limit, since during the original issue I sent dozens of messages and may have used up my quota. This is just a hypothesis, but if I'm right, I would be very grateful if my ability to receive Apple Developer Support could be restored. Thank you in advance. For reference: similar case: I also did some research and found that another forum user had the same issue, which was resolved through Apple Developer Support (hopefully this helps point in the right direction): https://discussions.apple.com/thread/255265181 Thanks in advance for any help!

Xcode always shows error "Error Downloading Crash Log Information" when trying to download crash logs
For a couple of months now I haven't been able to see new crash reports for my App Store apps in Xcode. I see the list of crash reports in the Organizer, but selecting any of the new ones always shows the same error message: Error Downloading Crash Log Information: An error occurred preventing Xcode from downloading crash log information. "my.email at domain.com" failed with error: There was a failure decoding response: (HTTP 500, 20364 bytes) The data couldn't be read because it isn't in the correct format.. Pushing the Reload button makes the view load for a bit, but then the same error appears again. Since I want to keep fixing crashes in my apps as fast as possible, is Apple aware of the issue and working on a fix? I don't know if this is a Xcode or App Store Connect issue. I would have expected this issue to be fixed with the newest Xcode version 26.5, but it's still happening. I opened FB22589345 on April 23, but got no response so far.

First-Time Non-Consumable IAP Stuck in "In Review" After Rejection, Cannot Re-attach to New App Version
Hello everyone, I'm encountering a blocking issue with my first-time Non-Consumable In-App Purchase after a rejection. Here is the exact workflow: Initial State: My App and IAP (com.marryflow.app.premium.lifetime) were linked and submitted together for the first time. Rejection: The IAP was rejected, and the App was consequently rejected as well (metadata rejection). Resubmission: I fixed the IAP issues and submitted it again. Its status is now "In Review". The Block: When I uploaded a new binary and went to the App Version page (under the "In-App Purchases" or "Subscriptions" section), the IAP that is "In Review" does not appear in the list. The interface only seems to allow selecting IAPs with "Ready to Submit" status. My Questions: Is this an expected system restriction? Meaning, once a first-time IAP enters a standalone review cycle, it cannot be manually re-attached to an App version? If so, is the correct resolution to ask the App Review team to reset the IAP's status back to "Ready to Submit" so that I can select it on the App Version page and submit them together? Currently, my App is submitted (without the IAP attached) and the IAP is stuck in "In Review". Any guidance on the proper workflow would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

New Users Cannot Join App Store Connect
I've added two new users to our App Store connect account but when they follow the link in the invitation email, they're taken to a blank white page in their browser. I've had them try with an incognito browser and cleared their browsing data but have had no luck. We stopped trying for a few weeks and today, I sent a new invitation and they experienced the same issue. Can't seem to nail down why this is happening.

Rejected for Guideline 2.5.2 - Performance - Software Requirements
Hi everyone, I’d appreciate guidance on a 2.5.2 rejection. My app was rejected with this message: “During review, the app installed or launched executable code. Specifically, the app allows users to install apps created by other users.” What my app actually does: Users create/share tool templates (not binaries/plugins). A template contains only: form configuration (text fields, dropdowns, checkboxes, sliders, etc.) At runtime, placeholders like #TextField are replaced with user input, then the final prompt is sent to a server for AI response. *The iOS app does not download/install/execute native code, scripts, frameworks, or dynamic modules on-device. I suspect review interpreted the word “install” in my UI as real app/code installation anyone knows what can i do to fix this problem. thank you,

I suspect review interpreted the word “install” in my UI as real app/code installation anyone knows what can i do to fix this problem. thank you,
