Hi all, My published app is named Frenzz. When users search for it on the App Store, the results show apps for "Frenzy" with a small prompt at the top asking "Search for Frenzz instead?" Users are typing the correct name, but the App Store is treating it as a typo and surfacing the wrong results by default. Has anyone run into this? What's the right way to get Frenzz to show as the primary result for its own name? Thanks

I opened a support ticket under 102880278747 3d ago and got the reply that it should have been checked and it can’t take much longer. I am running ads already for the app and some partners are waiting for the launch. Any Ideas what I can do or is that normal ? What do I need to expect? Hello, I have an internal TestFlight build for my app PewPewApp (Apple ID 6760741808). The build is processed, assigned to an internal group, and the tester invitation is accepted. The build status shows Ready to Test / Testing in App Store Connect. However, installation from TestFlight fails with: “The requested app is not available or doesn’t exist.” Could you please check whether there is an account-level or backend TestFlight distribution issue affecting this app/build? Hello everyone, my initial app release (Version 1.0) has been stuck in the 'Waiting for Review' status for 6 days now. It is a comprehensive app that includes localization for 14 different languages. I understand that initial submissions and extensive localizations can take longer to review, but 6 days seems unusually long. Hello, I am seeking advice or assistance regarding a significant delay in the review process for my app, Preppy (App ID: 6443527187). The app has been on the App Store for over 4 years and has been featured as "App of the Day" on three separate occasions. We have always maintained a good standing, but we are currently facing an unprecedented bottleneck that is negatively impacting our users. The Timeline: Version 2.6: Approved successfully ~3 weeks ago. Version 2.6.1: Submitted shortly after to address a critical bug. It was rejected due to the screenshots (which were the same as in 2.6), but I changed them according to the feedback. It remained in review for another 7 days. Even after requesting an expedited review, there was no movement anymore. Action taken: I rejected the build and resubmitted with a new build and updated screenshots again, hoping it would help. It sat for another 5 days with no status change again. Phone Support: I spoke with support via phone and was advised to increment the build/version number and resubmit and was told the app is in the expedited queue, so it will be reviewed shortly, which did not happen. Version 2.7: Uploaded 4 days ago with a new version number, updated screenshots yet again, and an improved description. It has been stuck in "Waiting for Review" since then. I have sent multiple emails to the App Review team explaining that this update contains a critical bugfix. Because of this delay, we are now receiving a wave of negative 1-star reviews from users who are experiencing the bug that is already fixed in the pending build. I have had no response to my follow-up emails, and the "Contact Us" forms haven't resulted in any updates. Has anyone else experienced this recently with a long-standing app? Is there any other way to escalate this beyond the standard expedited review form (which has already been used)? Thank you for any help or guidance.

My Apple Developer Program membership recently expired and my apps have been removed from the App Store. I've been trying to renew my membership but I'm completely stuck and cannot find a way forward. Here's what I've tried so far: Apple Developer App: There is no "Renew" button visible anywhere in the app. developer.apple.com/enroll: I receive the following error: "Sorry, you can't enroll at this time. Your Apple Account is already associated with the Account Holder of a membership." developer.apple.com/account: The Membership Details section loads but there is no renewal option or button available. I am logged in with the correct Account Holder Apple ID, so that is not the issue. My payment method on file is also valid. Has anyone else run into this? Is there a direct link or a workaround that triggers the renewal flow? Or is contacting Apple Developer Support the only option at this point? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hi everyone, We are currently facing an issue in our App Store Connect account where all of our production apps are suddenly showing the status “Removed from Sale.” This happened unexpectedly, and: We did NOT make any manual changes to app availability No recent app rejections or guideline violations were received Agreements, Tax & Banking section shows no pending actions TestFlight builds are still working fine We also have not received any clear communication from Apple explaining the reason for this. This is affecting all our live apps and impacting business operations. Has anyone else faced a similar issue recently? Hello, I have recently received a trademark infringement claim against my app. The claim did not specify exactly how I am infringing, or supply any other actionable information. However they did mention they filed at the USPTO. Nevertheless I pulled my app from the U.S app store to prevent any unintentional infringement, and contacted the complainants to resolve the situation. It's been a few weeks since then and I haven't heard anything from the complainants. Meanwhile Apple is reminding me to resolve this conflict. Does anybody here have any advice on how to proceed? I have tried getting in touch with AppStoreNotices@apple.com but they do not appear to reply. Thanks!

Hello, My first app, Dodge? (Apple ID: 6757125102), has been in review for over 53 days. This app was already live on the App Store, and this submission only includes UI improvements. Additionally, my second app, Widgety – Desktop Widgets (Apple ID: 6761670888), has been in review for 13 days. This is my first time submitting this app for review. I have already contacted Apple support regarding this issue, but have not received a resolution so far, which is why I am posting here in the forums. Both apps have been pending for an unusually long time. Since Dodge? is just a UI update and Widgety is a standard first-time submission, I would expect a much faster review process. Could you please check the status of these submissions and let me know if any additional information or action is required from my side? Hi everyone, We are investigating a possible iOS permission state issue after a device previously installed our app through TestFlight and later installed the production version from the App Store using the same Bundle ID. Environment: Device: iPhone 15 iOS version: 26.2.1 App distribution history: The app was previously installed through TestFlight and later installed from the App Store Permissions involved: Camera / Photos Issue: When the user opens the App Store version of the app and tries to access a feature that requires Camera or Photos permission, the iOS permission prompt does not appear as expected. Also, the app does not appear under: Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera or: Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos Because of this, the user cannot manually enable the permission. Another user on iOS was able to grant the permissions normally, so the issue appears to be isolated to the device that previously used the TestFlight build. Expected behavior: When the App Store version requests Camera or Photos permission, iOS should display the permission prompt, or the app should appear under Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera/Photos so the user can manage the permission manually. Actual behavior: The permission prompt does not appear, and the app does not appear in the corresponding privacy permission list. Possible cause: It seems like the device may be preserving or reusing a stale privacy permission state from the previous TestFlight installation, since both the TestFlight build and the App Store build use the same Bundle ID. Steps to reproduce: Install the app through TestFlight. Open the app and trigger a Camera/Photos permission request. Grant or deny the permission. Stop testing or remove the TestFlight version. Install the production version from the App Store using the same Bundle ID. Open the App Store version. Trigger the same Camera/Photos permission request flow. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera/Photos. The app does not appear, or the permission prompt does not behave as expected. Workarounds attempted or suggested: Close and reopen the app. Restart the iPhone. Delete and reinstall the app from the App Store. Stop testing the app from TestFlight. Reset Location & Privacy settings. Question: Has anyone experienced a similar issue where iOS does not show the permission prompt or does not list the app under Privacy & Security after switching from a TestFlight build to the App Store version with the same Bundle ID? Is there a recommended way to fully clear the previous TestFlight permission state, or should this be reported as a possible iOS/TestFlight permission state bug?

My app submitted on the 28th has been stuck in "Waiting for Review" for over 48 hours now. I even submitted an expedited review request more than 30 hours ago, and I’ve sent two follow-up inquiries, but I haven't received a single response yet. Is the review process broken at the moment? I’ve seen quite a few posts here recently about similar delays. If a problem occurs in the review process, the App Store must promptly make an announcement.

Hello everyone, I submitted my app to App Store Connect on March 27, 2026. As of today (April 30, 2026), the app is still in the “Waiting for Review” status. I have already contacted Apple Developer Support twice and received responses on April 15 and April 21. Both times I was told that the app is still in the queue and that there are no actions I can take to speed up the process. However, it has now been over a month, and I’ve noticed that many new apps and updates have been approved and released during this time. My app has not received any rejections or feedback—it’s still on its first submission and remains in “Waiting for Review.” I would appreciate any insights from others who may have experienced a similar delay: Is this kind of waiting time normal? Hi, I'm integrating the Genmoji API (NSAdaptiveImageGlyph) into my app and would like to confirm two things: Local editing of generated Genmoji. After the user creates a Genmoji, can the app apply edits to the resulting image (e.g., pixelation)? The edited image would be stored only on-device within the app and never shared externally. Use outside text contexts. Can a generated Genmoji be used in other parts of the app, such as a home screen widget? Apple's documentation and the WWDC24 session focus on inline text, stickers, and Tapbacks, but I couldn't find explicit guidance on widget or other UI usage. I checked the Human Interface Guidelines, WWDC24 session "Bring expression to your app with Genmoji," and the App Store Review Guidelines, but couldn't find clear answers. I submitted my app for review on April 7, 2026, but it remained in the “Waiting for Review” status for more than 20 days. I then canceled the submission and resubmitted the app on April 27, 2026. However, as of today, it is still awaiting review. This update includes major bug fixes that are urgent and important for our users. I kindly request that the App Review Team look into this matter and help resolve the delay as soon as possible.

Was there are recent update to the App Store Search Algorithm? I noticed that beginning about a week ago my keyword search rankings changed drastically. I had read that Apple was planning on using AI as part of the search algorithm. I don't know if that's been rolled out but if it has, something is wrong. I've been seeing other developers on Reddit trying to make sense of the recent search rankings. The results seem to be attempting to inject potentially related apps and deprioritizing exact matches, to the point of burying the apps most relevant to what the user entered. In one test, I searched using all 3 words in my subtitle: "brainwave binaural monaural". The app is a 5-star audio neuromodulation app (but only 6 reviews). It appeared 66th in the search results. About 10 of higher ranking apps were competitors with good ratings and more ratings, so that made sense. The majority though were either unrelated apps with none of my search terms in their subtitle or related apps with 1-2 star ratings (but also none of my subtitle words). For example, at #30 was the Skullcandy earbud pairing app with 2.3 stars (283 reviews) and none of my subtitle words ("Skullcandy App Experience"). At #46 was a second Skullcandy app with 2.4 stars (subtitle: "Skullcandy smart tech"). Based on subtitle/keyword relevance, and rating, it makes no sense that these two earbud apps would appear 36 and 20 places above mine in the results. Has anyone else seen similar changes to the search ranking? I've been doing this since '08 and I haven't seen search perform as poorly as it is now.

Can the App Review team check why submission ID 6760300948 is not progressing from “Waiting for Review”, and advise what the problem is or what information is needed to move it forward? Hi, I have an app on the Mac App Store called Tunebar. It's a simple app that plays local music. I've noticed that searching directly for "Tunebar" never returns my app in the results. I understand it's not a popular app, but other apps that appear to be even less popular do show up for this search query. At first, I thought it simply hadn't been indexed yet because it was a new app. However, it's now been many weeks, and I don't recall ever having this issue with my other apps, searching for their exact name has always returned them in the results. I'm not even expecting it to appear as the first result, just somewhere in the list. A user recently emailed me saying they searched for it and couldn't find the app either.
