ppq.apple.com returning 502 Bad Gateway - Unable to verify developer apps on device
Since this evening (March 10, 2026), I'm unable to launch any developer-signed app on my physical device (iPhone 16 Pro Max, iOS 26.4 beta 23E5223k). The error is: Unable to launch [app] because it has an invalid code signature, inadequate entitlements or its profile has not been explicitly trusted by the user. On the device itself, it shows: Unable to Verify App - An internet connection is required to verify the trust of the developer. What I've tried: Created a new Apple Development certificate Deleted and reinstalled the app Restarted the device Tested on both Wi-Fi and cellular Confirmed Developer Mode is enabled Removed all third-party CA certificates from the device Verified the code signature is valid (codesign -dv shows correct Authority chain) The root cause: https://ppq.apple.com is currently returning 502 Bad Gateway. I confirmed this both from my Mac (curl -s -o /dev/null -w %{http_code} https://ppq.apple.com → 502) and from Safari on the device. This affects all developer-signed apps, no

What is the proper way to pass arguments to printf with multiple variables using ARM64 Apple Silicon? AVAudioSession.outputVolume does not reflect system volume changes made while app is in background
I have a question regarding the behavior of AVAudioSession.sharedInstance().outputVolume. Observed behavior: When the app is in the foreground, I read audioSession.outputVolume (for example, 0.1). The app is then moved to the background. While the app is in the background, the user changes the system volume using the hardware buttons (for example, to 0.5). When the app returns to the foreground, audioSession.outputVolume still reports the previous value (0.1). From my testing, outputVolume only seems to update when the system volume is changed while the app is in the foreground. Volume changes made while the app is in the background are not reflected when the app returns to the foreground. Questions: According to Apple’s documentation for AVAudioSession.outputVolume: “The systemwide output volume set by the user.” https://developer.apple.com/documentation/avfaudio/avaudiosession/outputvolume However, based on our testing on iOS 18.6.2 and iOS 18.1, the observed behavior seems to differ from

I had the same problem even with Audio, AirPlay and Picture in Picture background mode enabled and with all the AVAudioSession.setActive(true) and AVAudioSession.setCategory(...) calls. We run some tests and it seems Apple made things more restrictive since iOS 18 (it was working on iOS 17.6). The only fix I found is to use the good old MPVolumeView as a substitute, but there's a catch - it's mandatory to add it to UI otherwise it will always return volume of 0. Bug? SwiftData + inheritance + optional many-to-one relationship
I've spent a few months writing an app that uses SwiftData with inheritance. Everything worked well until I tried adding CloudKit support. To do so, I had to make all relationships optional, which exposed what appears to be a bug. Note that this isn't a CloudKit issue -- it happens even when CloudKit is disabled -- but it's due to the requirement for optional relationships. In the code below, I get the following error on the second call to modelContext.save() when the button is clicked: Could not cast value of type 'SwiftData.PersistentIdentifier' (0x1ef510b68) to 'SimplePersistenceIdentifierTest.Computer' (0x1025884e0). I was surprised to find zero hit when Googling Could not cast value of type 'SwiftData.PersistentIdentifier'. Some things to note: Calling teacher.computers?.append(computer) instead of computer.teacher = teacher results in the same error. It only happens when Teacher inherits Person. It only happens if modelContext.save() is called both times. It works if the first modelContext.save() is com

Provide spoken voice search string
Hello, My goal is to enable users to perform a freeform search request for any product I sell using a spoken phrase, for example, Hey Siri, search GAMING CONSOLES on MyCatalogApp. The result would launch MyCatalogApp and navigate to a search results page displaying gaming consoles. I have defined a SearchIntent (using the .system.search schema) and a Shortcut to accomplish this. However, Siri doesn't seem to be able to correctly parse the spoken phrase, extract the search string, and provide it as the critiria term within SearchIntent. What am I doing wrong? Here is the SearchIntent. Reply to Static library links on device but fails on iOS Simulator
It sounds like your static library isn't built as an XCFramework that then contains your static library. In essence, your library needs to be built twice, once for iOS devices and a second time for iOS simulators, with both copies and the header files then packed inside of the XCFramework so Xcode then handles all of the details from there. StoreKit / react-native-iap: Payment deducted but transaction not delivered (E_CONNECTION_CLOSED) – India UPI payments
Hello, We are facing an issue with In-App Purchases (subscriptions) in two iOS apps built with React Native + react-native-iap. Issue Some users receive the error: E_CONNECTION_CLOSED during the purchase flow. However: The payment is successfully deducted via the App Store. The subscription appears in the user's Apple ID subscription list. But on our side: The app does not receive the StoreKit transaction callback No receipt or transaction ID is delivered Our backend cannot validate the purchase. Restore Purchases When affected users try Restore Purchases, StoreKit returns: No purchases found even though the subscription is visible in their Apple ID. Most affected users are from India, and many payments are made via UPI through App Store billing. Has anyone experienced a case where: the user is charged the subscription exists in Apple ID but StoreKit never returns the transaction or receipt? Any suggestions on how to recover these transactions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Universal Link works directly but not via redirect on iOS 18 and above
Hi everyone, We're facing an issue with Universal Links on iOS 18 and above. The problem seems related to how iOS handles redirects before reaching a Universal Link. ✅ Working Link (direct): When we open this direct Universal Link, the app opens as expected: 👉 https://dl.punchh.com/deeplinks/logansroadhouse/ ❌ Not Working (redirected link): This marketing/tracking link eventually redirects to the above Universal Link, but on iOS 18+, it opens the App Store or a browser instead of the app: 👉 https://ip2.loyalty.logansroadhouse.com/ls/click?upn=... The same redirect link works fine on iOS 17 and below — it opens the app.

Hi, I’m still not sure what we can rely on for our use case. Our flow: The user taps a link on our domain (link.example.com/path) and that URL is not a Universal Link. Our server responds with an HTTP 302 to a different domain that is a Universal Link. The client (Safari) follows the redirect and loads that Universal Link URL. We need to know: on iOS 18.3+, will the system open our app when the user ends up on that Universal Link URL after this 302, or will they stay in the browser / go to the App Store? After reading this thread and the document I'm confused because we have: Documentation that allows (but doesn’t prefer) redirect to a Universal Link Forum guidance to avoid redirects. Your suggestion to “explore alternative redirection methods” and “implement your own solution,” without specifying what method works and which not. We have a business requirement to use a short link that redirects to the Universal Link, so we would appreciate a response. Thanks!

Hi @DTS Engineer , I am also facing this weird issue I am consistently encountering a build warning in Xcode 26 that prevents proper symbolication of crash logs. The warning states: warning: (arm64) /Users/mickey/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/CalendarSync-bjuvwxojzofqzzcmzzpdozbujrge/Build/Products/Debug-iphoneos/CalendarSync.app/CalendarSync empty dSYM file detected, dSYM was created with an executable with no debug info. Steps to Reproduce: Open the project in Xcode 26. Build the project for a physical iOS device (arm64) or Archive the project. The warning appears during the Generate dSYM phase of the build process. Troubleshooting Steps Already Taken (Issue Persists): Set 'Enable Debug Dylib Support' to No. Verified 'Debug Information Format' is set to 'DWARF with dSYM File'. Verified 'Generate Debug Symbols' is set to Yes. Set 'Strip Debug Symbols During Copy' and 'Strip Linked Product' to No. Performed 'Clean Build Folder' and manually deleted the DerivedData folder. FB22253128 Here the message in FB (with the zipped sample project and 2 test files): Context: Xcode 26.3, iOS 18.7.6 on iPhone Xs In this iOS app, I call UIActivityViewController to let user Airdrop files from the app. When trying to send a URL whose file name contains some characters like accentuated (-, é, '), the transfer fails. Removing those characters makes it work without problem. Steps to reproduce Build and load the app on iPhone transfer the 2 pdf files ('name accentué.pdf' and 'name plain.pdf' to the Documents folder of Test app (I did it in Finder on Mac with iPhone USB connected to the Mac). The 2 files are identical except their name. Run the app Tap 'Send by AirDrop name plain.pdf' and select AirDrop to Mac : Transfer OK Tap 'Send by AirDrop name accentué.pdf' and select AirDrop to Mac : Transfer fails
