Reply to FSKit Sandbox restrictions and automatic tests
My issues might even be better solved with FSActivateOptionSyntax, but I don't know where to find the docs for it. Or how to propably use it. Yeah, that's probably meant to be used for your situation. I think you're supposed to be able to provide a path then you can get a security-scoped URL that you can use to access that specific path while sandboxed. I briefly looked at that a while ago but I don't think most of the Info.plist keys are documented right now. Most of the documentation right now is just scouring the forums or Apple's open-source FSKit extensions for examples (or, if you're lucky, replies to your feedbacks), which isn't too great. My (untested, could be wrong) assumption was that if you were to set something like shortOptions abc:d: Then on the command line you'd be able to pass options like -a or -b, while -c=arg and -d=arg both take additional arguments. I never needed it for my own extension though so I didn't look too hard, but the forums post you listed suggests that the ability to get a

Reply to SwiftUI – How to completely remove the horizontal “ghost lines” inside List with Section and custom rows?
Thank you! Your explanation about .listRowSeparator(.hidden) being row-specific (and not global to the entire List) was exactly what I needed. I was only applying: .listRowSeparator(.hidden) .listSectionSeparator(.hidden) to the List itself, assuming it would hide all separators automatically — but as you pointed out, SwiftUI requires the modifier to be applied on every row. What I did to fix it I added: .listRowSeparator(.hidden) directly to each transaction row inside my custom content view: ForEach(...) { ... } .listRowSeparator(.hidden) Then I also added it to: the header Section for each day the top block inside ReportMensileView (statistics + month picker + total + picker) This ensured that every row rendered by the List has the separator explicitly hidden. Result All the “mysterious horizontal lines” immediately disappeared, without breaking: native List scrolling swipe-to-delete custom rounded card backgrounds grouped Sections Everything now renders perfectly clean. Thanks again for pointing

App Store Connect - Multiple uploads stuck at 'Processing'
Nine days ago an upload to App Store Connect got stuck at the 'Processing' state. Subsequent build uploads whether for 'TestFlight Internal Only' or 'App Store Connect' stick just the same. I'm tearing my hair out - what little remains - as I can't do any uploads... I raised a support ticket with Apple eight days ago, they responded two days later asking for a screen-shot which was provided by return but I've heard nothing since. Uploads are all from XCode 26.1.1. XCode Organizer, 'Direct Distribution' and 'Validate App' work ok but I need to be using the App Store for this App... It's my understanding that if I remove the App from the App Store and then try to create a new App with the same Bundle ID that will fail as Apple specify the following warning prior to removing an App. WARNING: If you remove an app, you’ll lose ownership of the app name. Removed apps can only be restored if the name isn’t currently in use by another developer account. In addition, the SKU can’t be reused in the same organi

Multiple iOS App Store rejection due to revenue cat "purchase failure: there was a problem with the apple store"
My app has been rejected multiple times during the last few weeks because Apple reviewer is unable to complete the purchase on revenue cat paywall. They gave this error message: Guideline 2.1 - Performance - App Completeness We were still unable to purchase the subscription successfully. Review device details: Device type: iPad Air 11-inch (M2) OS version: iPadOS 26.1 Next Steps When validating receipts on your server, your server needs to be able to handle a production-signed app getting its receipts from Apple’s test environment. The recommended approach is for your production server to always validate receipts against the production App Store first. If validation fails with the error code Sandbox receipt used in production, you should validate against the test environment instead. Resources Note that in-app purchases do not need to have been previously approved to confirm they function correctly in review. Note that the Account Holder must accept the Paid Apps Agreement in the Business section of App Store

How can I show a movable webcam preview above all windows in macOS without activating the app
I'm building a macOS app using SwiftUI, and I want to create a draggable floating webcam preview window Right now, I have something like this: import SwiftUI import AVFoundation struct WebcamPreviewView: View { let captureSession: AVCaptureSession? var body: some View { ZStack { if let session = captureSession { CameraPreviewLayer(session: session) .clipShape(RoundedRectangle(cornerRadius: 50)) .overlay( RoundedRectangle(cornerRadius: 50) .strokeBorder(Color.white.opacity(0.2), lineWidth: 2) ) } else { VStack(spacing: 8) { Image(systemName: video.slash.fill) .font(.system(size: 40)) .foregroundColor(.white.opacity(0.6)) Text(No Camera) .font(.caption) .foregroundColor(.white.opacity(0.6)) } } } .shadow(color: .black.opacity(0.3), radius: 10, x: 0, y: 5) } } struct CameraPreviewLayer: NSViewRepresentable { let session: AVCaptureSession func makeNSView(context: Context) -> NSView { let view = NSView() view.wantsLayer = true let previewLayer = AVCaptureVideoPreviewLayer(session: session) previewLayer

Flutter iOS Widget Extension – CodeSign Failed (ActivityKit entitlement missing, cannot enable in Identifiers)
Hello everyone, I am developing a Flutter iOS application that includes a Widget Extension + Live Activity (ActivityKit). The project runs successfully on the iOS simulator when launched directly from Xcode, but it cannot be signed properly via Flutter and I cannot upload the build to App Store Connect due to the following CodeSign error: Command CodeSign failed with a nonzero exit code Provisioning profile … doesn't include the entitlement: com.apple.developer.activitykit.allow-third-party-activity This error never goes away no matter what I try. And the main problem is that my App ID does NOT show any ActivityKit or Live Activity capability in the Apple Developer portal → Identifiers → App ID. So I cannot enable it manually. However: Xcode requires this entitlement Flutter requires this entitlement When I add the entitlement manually in the .entitlements file, Xcode says: “This entitlement must be enabled in your Developer account. It cannot be added manually.” So I am stuck in a loop where: Apple

Afraid of not being good enough
Hi everyone, I’m not sure if this is the right place for it, but I wanted to share a bit of my background and ask for advice from developers who’ve been in the industry longer than me. I started learning to make games when I was a kid using Game Maker. Later I got into Unity and even worked a few years as a solo developer for small startups — building Unity apps, VR projects, AR demos, websites, servers, everything. But I never had a real team, never had mentorship, and none of the projects I worked on ever reached production or real users. Life changed and I moved to the US, where I had to switch careers completely. Now I’m trying to come back to software development, but I’m struggling with a feeling that I’m “not good enough” anymore. The tech world has moved so fast, and companies like OpenAI, Meta, Epic, etc., feel way out of reach. So my question to the community is: How did you get started in your career? Did you ever feel like you weren’t good enough? How did you push through that and continu

iOS 26 UI Components Not Rendering in TestFlight
Issue Summary: iOS 26 UI components are not visible in the Expo app when installed via TestFlight. All components render correctly in local builds or when running with expo run:ios. Details: The app is built using Expo managed workflow. iOS 26-specific UI components do not appear in TestFlight builds. The same components display correctly in local builds and simulators. Test device: iPhone running iOS 26.1. There are no crashes or runtime errors; only the components are missing. This issue occurs only in TestFlight/release builds. Expected Behavior: All iOS 26 UI components should render in TestFlight builds the same way they do in local builds. Actual Behavior: Components fail to render or are completely missing. Device Information: Device: iPhone iOS Version: 26.1 Distribution: TestFlight Local Build: Working correctly Additional Notes: This may be related to Expo release build optimization or iOS 26 SDK compatibility.

KDK for current stable version (26.1) missing
The current stable macOS version, 26.1 (build 25B78) is missing a corresponding Kernel Debug Kit (KDK) on the developer downloads page. This means I can't do any kernel-level development tasks currently. For example, if I try to build a new kernel collection with kmutil I get the message Missing Developer Kit: As of macOS 13.0, you will need to install a KDK matching your build 25B78 to rebuild kernel collections. but there is no build 25B78 KDK available to download. The latest 26.1 KDK on the download page is 25B5062e (from a beta I believe) and the final stable KDK for build 25B78 (which kernel development tools require) was never published. Is there any workaround for this to correctly do kernel-level development targeting the latest stable release, or a timeline for when the KDK will release? Thanks!

Unable to get inbound and outbound byte count in Content Filter report.
Hello, I am building a Content Filter app for iOS and would like to get access to some information about network connections that are happening on the device. I managed to have the handle(_ report: NEFilterReport) method of my NEFilterControlProvider called, but the bytesOutboundCount and bytesInboundCount properties of the report are always 0. How can I have the real byte count of the connection ?

Waiting for Review” for 40+ Days After Resubmission (App ID: 6753948674))
Hello everyone, I am experiencing an unusually long review delay with my app Avanta (App ID: 6753948874) and would like to request guidance or escalation support if possible. 📌 Timeline & Issue Summary Our first submission was made on October 14, 2025. The app was initially reviewed and rejected once due to screenshot issues (nothing related to functionality or guideline violations). We immediately corrected the screenshots and resubmitted on November 3, 2025. Since then, the build has been stuck in “Waiting for Review” for more than 25 days, and we have received no further updates, clarifications, or review activity in App Store Connect. 📌 Why I’m Concerned This delay is far beyond normal review processing times (typically 24–72 hours). Our app has no unresolved guideline issues — only screenshots were requested once, and the updated assets are fully compliant. The lack of any movement (no “In Review”, no communication) makes me unsure whether the submission is stuck due to a technical/system

Unity build error in Xcode - Undefined Symbols - Swift
This is using: **Unity 6000.2.7f - latest ARKit etc Xcode 26.1 ** This is going to iPad/iPhone/iOS and I have succesfully built to the iPad before, but updates to the software seem to have added these errors in. Basically all updated as much as possible. Originally I got 5 errors, but updates brought it down. On build I now get 3 undefined symbols: Undefined symbol: _swift_FORCE_LOAD$_swiftCompatibility51 Undefined symbol: _swift_FORCE_LOAD$_swiftCompatibility56 Undefined symbol: _swift_FORCE_LOAD$_swiftCompatibilityConcurrency This appears to be a bug, or issue, that is in some way known, but I'm not sure how best to get past it. ld: warning: search path '/var/run/com.apple.security.cryptexd/mnt/com.apple.MobileAsset.MetalToolchain-v17.1.324.0.kGuqPt/Metal.xctoolchain/usr/lib/swift/iphoneos' not found ld: warning: search path '/var/run/com.apple.security.cryptexd/mnt/com.apple.MobileAsset.MetalToolchain-v17.1.324.0.kGuqPt/Metal.xctoolchain/usr/lib/swift-5.0/iphoneos' not found ld: warning: Could not
