Review rejected for the 3rd Time
Hi All, I am submitting my first app to App Store but unfortunately, it has been rejected 3 times in a row. Every time , same reason 2.1 App Incompleteness. My app requires login via phone number and OTP and i have provided all the demo details required for creating an account but their response is same every time that they cannot login. No error detail has been shared by the review team. The screenshot suggests that Device is not connected to Internet and i have mentioned in instructions to use a stable internet connection I have tested the app on 2 iPhones and 1 iPad and found no such issue. My server has not received any login request as well to verify if they tried logging into the app. Please suggest what i can do in this scenario or any specific reason that the problem is just with them and not with any of my testers Thanks.

App Stuck in 'Waiting for Review' for 1 Month (Submitted 25/7/2025) – Need Assistance
My app has been stuck in "Waiting for Review" status since July 25, 2025 (24 days and counting), far exceeding Apple’s typical review timeline. Despite multiple checks, I’ve received no updates or communication from App Review. App Details: App Name: [HKCoiner] Bundle ID: [vn.app.hkcoin] Apple ID (SKU): [6747101743] Is this delay related to a known system issue? How can I escalate this to Apple’s review team? (Email/phone options?) Are there hidden rejections or metadata problems not shown in App Store Connect? I hope to get help.

Custom TabBar height in a production app – is this allowed?
Hi, I'm working on a large application, and the designers have proposed a new look for the tab bar. The app has been in development for 14 years, and while many views are now in SwiftUI, navigation between screens is still handled in UIKit, since most screens are still UIKit-based. Currently, we're using the native UIKit TabBar. I'm going to check if it's possible to customize the appearance of the native TabBar. However, I remember that over 10 years ago, when I changed the height of the TabBar, the app was rejected during review for not complying with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines. It looked something like this: An app rejection related to a tab bar's height update in Swift, likely due to not adhering to Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, can be addressed by ensuring the tab bar's height remains at the default 49 points and avoiding any modifications that don't align with the HIG, according to Apple's documentation. How does it look nowadays? Has anyone here submitted an app to the store with a heavily customized TabBar height and had it approved? In UIKit, I see it's possible to do something like this: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/23044218/change-uitabbar-height Would something like this pass app review without issues? Do you know of any apps that have a non-standard, significantly increased TabBar height?

App Store Rejection: "AppTrackingTransparency permission request not found" — But ATT Completely Removed
Hi everyone, I'm facing a frustrating App Store rejection that I can't seem to resolve. My app was rejected under Guideline 2.1 - Information Needed with the following message: "The app uses the AppTrackingTransparency framework, but we are unable to locate the App Tracking Transparency permission request when reviewed on iPadOS 18.5." However, in my latest version (2.9 Build 18), I have: Removed all SDKs that collect IDFA or perform tracking. Removed the AppTrackingTransparency framework entirely. Removed the NSUserTrackingUsageDescription key from Info.plist. Confirmed that no third-party SDKs are accessing IDFA or similar. Not using the app_tracking_transparency package (I'm using Flutter). I included a detailed review note explaining all of this, yet the app still gets rejected for not showing the ATT prompt — even though ATT is not used at all. Also, I can't update the App Privacy section until this new version is approved, which still reflects tracking from a previous live version (2.3). Has anyone faced something similar? Questions: Is there a way to confirm what part of the build might still be triggering ATT detection on Apple's side? Could an unused pod or leftover reference be the issue? How do I fully verify that ATT is not linked anywhere in the final binary? Any guidance or tips from others who’ve resolved this would be hugely appreciated! Thanks

[Urgent] No Response from App Review Team – Need Help Verifying Appeal Submission
Hello, We are currently facing an issue where our app was removed from the App Store due to an alleged policy violation. We submitted an appeal on July 25, 2025, but we have not received any confirmation, response, or update since then. This prolonged silence has seriously impacted our operations and caused numerous user complaints and negative feedback. We would appreciate any guidance on: How to verify whether our appeal has been received and is under review. How to escalate the case to get timely attention from the App Review Team. We are fully committed to cooperating with Apple and making any necessary adjustments to comply with guidelines. Thank you very much for any assistance or advice.

Passkeys not working for App Reviewers
Hi, I've been unable to reproduce an issue that is getting our new app flagged in App Review. Login/Registration via passkeys fails for the testers every time. We've provided an alternative sign in method, but I'm still curious why this might happen. When testing locally and in TestFlight, registration and login with passkeys has worked consistently. We receive ASAuthorizationError.Code.failed (1004): The authorization attempt failed. Do reviewers have special devices that do not support passkeys? What are some reasons that this code would fail? We've tested on the same device (iPads, iPhones, etc.) with different password managers and haven't run into this issue. We do not offer another sign in or registration for non-review users. We have a demo mode login provided to reviewers. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Stuck at “Waiting for Review” for 2 weeks – Need assistance
Hi everyone, We submitted our app update for review on July 25, 2025, and when we didn’t hear back, we resubmitted on August 4, 2025. Unfortunately, both submissions are still stuck at “Waiting for Review.” This is very unusual for us, as our app has been live on the App Store for over two years now, and reviews have typically taken no more than 1-2 days in the past. We are a small startup urgently trying to release a new version to address critical issues our users are facing. The extended review delay is significantly impacting our users’ experience, and we’re concerned about the growing frustration among our customer base. We have tried reaching out to support but haven’t received any updates so far. We’re posting here in hopes someone can provide guidance or help escalate the review process. Thank you for any assistance you can offer.

New App Submission - Current Wait Time Approaching a Month
Hi everyone, I'm a new Apple developer and recently submitted my first app to the App Store. It's a social media-style app that allows users to generate and share content. I understand that apps involving user-generated content usually require a more detailed review process, which makes sense, but the timeline is starting to feel a bit long—and I'm wondering if this is typical for first-time submissions. I first uploaded the app to App Store Connect about 3 to 4 weeks ago. After roughly two weeks of waiting, I received a rejection—not because there was anything wrong with the app itself, but because Apple requested additional information. They wanted more clarity on how I plan to manage objectionable content, data security, and similar policies. I promptly provided all the requested information in writing. That was about a week and a half ago, and since then, I haven't received any updates. I also submitted an expedited review request, but I’ve seen no change in status. Interestingly, after submitting the additional information, the app went back into "In Review" within about 30 minutes. However, there hasn’t been any visible activity since then. I've checked the app logs, and it doesn’t appear that any testing is taking place. I'm just curious if other developers—especially new ones—have experienced similar delays. Is this kind of timeline normal for an app like mine? Or is there something more I should be doing on my end to move things along? Thanks in advance for any guidance or shared experiences! Apple id for the app is 6749034940

Can I Release an iPhone-Only Update for a Universal App with Active Subscriptions?
Our app is currently live on the App Store as a universal app (iPhone + iPad) and supports a subscription model — meaning users with an active subscription can access the app on both devices. We recently redesigned the iPhone UI and would like to push an iPhone-only update, without affecting the existing iPad experience (which remains unchanged). The goal is to prevent iPad users from receiving the new update, while iPhone users get the latest UI enhancements. Questions: Is it possible to release an update that targets only iPhone devices while keeping the current version available for iPad? If yes, what are the proper deployment or App Store Connect configurations required to achieve this? Any guidance or clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Subscription Stuck as "Missing Metadata"
Hello, We're experiencing an issue where our app’s in-app subscriptions are flagged as “Missing Metadata” in App Store Connect. After contacting Apple Developer Support over the phone, we've been informed two seperate times by two different support agents that this is because we don't have a screenshot associated with either subscription (we have a monthly and yearly option). While I can continue to see in App Store Connect that a screenshot is present, Apple Developer Support informed us that no screenshot associated with either subcription. Even after deleting and reuploading, we validated this issue persists. When talking with App Review, they provided this answer multiple times: Guideline 2.1 - Performance - App Completeness We are unable to complete the review of the app because one or more of the in-app purchase products have not been submitted for review. Specifically, the app includes references to Radar Pro but the associated in-app purchase products have not been submitted for review. Next Steps To resolve this issue, please be sure to take action and submit your in-app purchases and upload a new binary in App Store Connect so we can proceed with our review. Note you must provide an App Review screenshot in App Store Connect in order to submit in-app purchases for review. Learn more about required in-app purchase metadata. This does not resolve this issue as changing the version from 1.0 to something else still does not present any additional UI to associated our subscriptions with our app in the main view or submission confirmation view. Per Apple guidelines in the "Subscriptions" tab: Your first subscription must be submitted with a new app version. Create your subscription, then select it from the app’s In-App Purchases and Subscriptions section on the version page before submitting the version to App Review. Once your binary has been uploaded and your first subscription has been submitted for review, additional subscriptions can be submitted from the Subscriptions section. Learn More Apple Developer Support recommended this is the best option for us to continue forward since they don't offer technical support. Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated as it’s the only issue blocking re-review of our app. Thanks in advance.

IAP working in StoreKitTest on XCODE but not in TestFlight – shows mapped error "Product not available"
Hey everyone, I'm currently preparing an older iOS app for App Store release that includes a non-consumable In‑App Purchase using StoreKit 2. Everything works perfectly in the StoreKitTest environment inside Xcode – the product loads, the purchase flow runs, the transaction verifies. However, when I run the same app through TestFlight, I always get the error: ❌ Product not available - mapped to Here’s what I’ve already checked: ✅ The product ID is correct and matches what’s in App Store Connect (case-sensitive). ✅ The IAP is created in App Store Connect and includes: Title Product ID Price Tier Screenshot for review ✅ The App Store "Paid Applications" agreement is active. ✅ The app is using the correct bundle ID. ✅ I'm using Product.products(for: [productID]) from StoreKit 2. ✅ I’ve implemented fallback and retry logic (e.g. reload after delay). ✅ All IAP logic is wrapped in @MainActor and async-safe. As the App got Rejected on Review, the IAP is also now in the Rejected Status. Now the IAP shows status: 🟠 "Developer Action Required" And App Review rejected the IAP with the message: "Your first In‑App Purchase must be submitted together with a new app version." But if I add the App to the Test again and therefore the IAP, then the app will get Rejected again for App Completeness, IAP does not work... What am I doing wrong here? :) Thanks a lot in advance Cheers, Niklas

App Rejected During App Review : Pending Termination Notice

App Icon issue in Wallet app
Hi, Upon reviewing our app, we got feedback that our app icon within the Wallet app is not behaving as expected when the home screen is set to "light mode" only. In that case, on the home screen, the app icon remains its default color (e.g., red), regardless of the device's appearance settings (light or dark), which is expected. However, in the apple Wallet, e.g., under the From Apps from your device, app icons change their color (e.g., red in light mode, black in dark mode) when iOS appearance is changed - which is reported as an app issue. I've noticed that all apps in that section are changing the color, not just ours, so it seems to me like a bug in iOS or a behavior that was not clearly defined in the app store guidelines. If there is an API we must use to cover that case, which one would that be? Is this a bug that Apple should resolve, or is this the intended behaviour?

Am I allowed to use FFMPEG and FFPROBE binaries in Mac App Store?
I have built an app that does audio analysis. I have stripped the GPL files from these binaries regarding license issues. The binnaries are in the root folder of ny build next to the .app file MacOs/ I can not run this in sandbox mode. Everything works except for the audio analysis. Can I still submit this to the AppStore and get accepted? Will users whom download the app be able to run the audio analysis? I aaked this on Apple support but they gave me a general answer to appstore documentation Hope someone here has experience with this.

How to publish medical app being a sole proprietorship?
Hi, I’m a doctor who has developed an app to address the common questions I’ve encountered from patients. I operate under a sole proprietorship registered in India. Apple is preventing me from publishing my medical app through an individual account and has not responded to my request to switch to an organization account. It’s been over a week, and I’ve invested significant effort into this project, which is now causing a great deal of anxiety. Can anyone advise me on what steps I should take next?

But if I add the App to the Test again and therefore the IAP, then the app will get Rejected again for App Completeness, IAP does not work...
