I already have an iOS app accepted on the App Store, and now I want to add a macOS platform version.
I created a new Xcode project and used the same bundle ID as my iOS app.
When I tried to upload the macOS bundle, I encountered the following error:
Invalid Provisioning Profile. The provisioning profile included in the bundle ABC.123456 [ABC.123456.pkg/Payload/ABC.app] is invalid. [Invalid 'com.apple.application-identifier' entitlement value.] For more information, visit the macOS Developer Portal. (ID: xxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxxxx)
I found that this problem occurs when the "Team ID" and "App ID Prefix" are different. How can I make them match?

I have an app that runs on both iOS and visionOS (native). Both app use the same project, just some files and code segments are different. We do not use automatic signing. Instead we use a Distribution profile. When creating a distribution profile and adding capabilities there are certain capabilities we are using on iOS that are not available on visionOS. Like the com.apple.developer.kernel.increased-memory-limit and the Extended Virtual Addressing Entitlement. My understanding is that we can only have one Distribution profile per app (may be wrong understanding). My question is how can we have two separate distribution profiles for iOS and visionOS, so iOS can have those extra capabilities that aren't available on visionOS?
I tried to create two separate targets, one for iOS and one for visionOS, but that still gives me the same issue of having the distribution profile being the same and not being able to make it unique for iOS and visionOS. Is there a correct approach to setting up the Xcode project or the distribution profile?
I'm new to visionOS development and distribution profiles, any guidance would be appreciated. Let me know if you have any questions or need more clarification.
I‘ve being trying to continue developing my own app for the last 4 weeks and I’ve not being able to do so due to this persistent error message whenever I try to deploy to my own device “Unable to verify app. Internet connection is required to verify trust.”
I’ve searched all around for a way to fix this issue but no body seems to be sure why this happens nor how to fix it.
It started happening right after I‘ve upgraded my phone from a 14 to a 15, and ever since, the 15 simply doesn’t allow me to deploy on it…
I also have a SE Gen 2 running iOS 15 and it seems to work just fine.
Anyone happens to know whats going on? Now I also have to worry if the iPhone is going to let me continue working or not whenever I upgrade it?
I'm trying to install from Xcode (15.4) to my physical device (iPhone SE 3rd gen, iOS 17.5.1) but I get the following error.
My provisioning profile is from a 3rd party organization, but I have confirmed my device UUID is added to their account and that the profile does contain the beta-reports-active flag. I have also checked that this is added to the entitlements file.
It works fine it I deploy and install via TestFlight, but for obvious reasons I would prefer not to have to do that for each and every build.
Can anyone suggest how to resolve this, either with local config or by asking the account admin to modify the provisioning profiles?

What is wrong: "Provisioning Profile None Required" vs "missing a provisioning profile" ?
Your team has no devices from which to generate a provisioning profile. Connect a device to use or manually add device IDs in Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles. https://developer.apple.com/account/
I keep getting that error message on Xcode Version 15.4
I have tried all I could and nothing seems to be working, it's really frustrating.
Please can anyone help me on this.
I'm trying to use the callkit library on Xcode 15 but I'm getting the errors below.
Error 1:Automatic signing failed
Xcode failed to provision this target. Please file a bug report at https://feedbackassistant.apple.com and include the Update Signing report from the Report navigator.
Error 2:
Provisioning profile "iOS Team Provisioning Profile: me.liu.brian.Autocall.CallDirectoryHandler" doesn't include the Com.apple.developer.callkit.call-directory entitlement.
I already generated the .entitlements file in both my main app and callDirectoryHandler. When I try to enable the CallKit capability in the Identifiers or Profiles section on apple developer.com, the CallKit Capability simply isn't listed under any of the sections, so I can't enable it. What can I do to use CallKit in my app?
I wanted to create a provisioning profile for my project via my physical device, just as a test. However, my serial number and my capacity weren't identified. Could it be the cable?
I can't find the required app identifier for the distributed app with the Bundle ID 'recoverlution-production' on my account on the page https://developer.apple.com/account/resources/identifiers/list. I am getting 'No profiles for recoverlution-production found.' when validating the app on Xcode after the build. Additionally, I am getting 'No eligible profiles found for recoverlution-ios-app matching the iOS platform with bundle identifier recoverlution-production.' when selecting the provisioning profile from Xcode.

Can a profile be deleted if it is currently in use on App Store Connect?
Hi all, regarding requesting an organization name change for enrollment of enterprise developer subscription, I would like to understand more regarding the arrangement of iOS distribution certificate under the account (for internal deployment) but there is not much we can find in the official documentation and from the existing post.
Existing Distribution Certificate under the old name (e.g ABC Corp) are now used and app signed by it were deployed to thousands of internal users via internal website, after organization renaming, it is understood that the common name distribution certificate would not be renamed automatically and we will have to generate and pack the app with a new distribution certificate afterwards in order to update the name shown on users device.
I would like to confirm if the existing distribution certificate (i.e. created under the legacy name ABC Corp) would be still kept valid until its expiry date (or until we manually revoke it) and not affected by the renaming of the developer account. (i.e. two valid distribution certificate, one with the legacy name and another one with new name can be kept valid after the name change).
Does anyone have experience with this after organization rename? Thanks.
I am using a provisioning profile with a wildcard app identifier. When I click "Distribute App" in Xcode, I encounter the following errors:
"Automatic signing cannot register bundle identifier"
"No profiles for were found."
