iOS 26 iPhone won't charge and keeps restarting.
I have an iPhone 14 Pro. I downloaded the iOS 26 beta and had a SERIOUS error, rendering the phone unusable. I charged it to 60% and kept it plugged in while updating. While updating, I restarted several times at the Apple logo, then at the Welcome screen, and it had quite a few bugs with low battery warnings. When I turned it on, I noticed I had 1% (I thought it was strange). When it was plugged in, it wouldn't charge; it only had 1% left, and it also restarted every 2 minutes. Off-plugged, it did exactly the same thing. In the end, I had to go back to iOS 18.5; I had no problems with this version.

Apple Developer Program enrollment pending for 2 weeks — no charge, no response to support ticket
Hi, I enrolled in the Apple Developer Program approximately 2 weeks ago and my enrollment is still pending. I have not been charged the annual fee and I submitted a support ticket which has received no response. I'm a solo developer based in South Africa looking to publish my first iOS app. Is there anything I can do to move this along, or is this wait time normal? My support ticket has gone unanswered and I can't find a direct contact number to resolve this. Any help appreciated.

Reply to iPhone XS Max not charging
Same here on iPhone Xr.. absolutely not charging on iOS 13, but maintains current charge level while on charge. Wrote 3 reports with attached logs and still no reaction from Apple. My iPhone had occasional issues on older firmware though. It showed 1 or 2% on iOS 12 and rebooted several times while the actual charge was near 100%. After a few reboots it showed back real 100%. Happened like 3-4 times during last 6 month of use.

Can an app charge a user multiple concurrent recurring subscriptions
I would love some advice on what must be a simple question for an experienced developer if anyone has time. My new App operates by charging business users a monthly recurring subscription. I want to charge the business user one subscription amount each month for every venue they have. Example business has one venue then the owner subscribes to 1x $14.99/month. Business owner has seven venues then as they add each new venue we charge them an additional $14.99/month for each venue so they are paying 7 x $14.99/month etc... Q1. Is it possible for the App Store to allow an App to charge these concurrent monthly subscriptions for one user in one App? Q2. If so are there any restrictions when these monthly subscriptions may be charged? I had read somewhere a while ago this was possible but they must all be charged on the same billing date as the first subscription no matter what date the subsequent subscriptions were subscribed to. (not a problem although the bu

Reply to Scrolling with Apple Pencil does not work in 9.3.
Just found the same problem. Can't scroll or swipe using pencil with iOS 9.3 beta. I've sent feedback on this. Major inconvenience since it significantly reduces the benefits of using the pencil. I hope it's just a bug...... I don't see a fix anywhere so may also role back to 9.2. Disappointing but I do recognise it is a beta.p.s. Rolled back to 9.2 and all back to normal and working again.

Issues charging Macbook Air with 10.13.2
Hi,I updated to 10.13.2 Beta just a few days ago. Now it seems that I am unable to fully charge my laptop. When I plug in my charger it has the lightning bolt icon, but doesn't go above 4%. (what my battery was at when I started chargning). Is anyone experiencing this behavior with the new beta? I've done multiple SMC resets and there has been no improvements.

My iPhone will not charge from my Mac Mini
I recently replaced my older Macbook with a Mac Mini. My iphone charges fine from a powered USB hub, but when I connect the hub to my new Mac Mini, my phone stops charging. This is the same phone, hub, and cables that worked just fine with my Macbook. I M running Beta 26.3, but the MacBook was also on Beta 26. Anyone have any ideas?

Reply to Drawing app using Metal slows down as screen fills up
I may be a bit naive, MoreLighnting, on the subject you are referring to. First I accept that I am probably only 10% there with my app. I have a grand idea for it, but I know deep down that I need a developer who can rewrite the entire thing and make it shine because my coding skills are not that great. There are too many things I just don't understand. So for now if I can get it working and doing everything that I need it to, then at least I have a working prototype that I can then hand over to an experienced and qualified professional to make it what it needs to be. That is my hope. I have been stashing away money for this very purpose. Finding a developer though for me is a scary process. But that will be my next step. As for my naivety, what I mean by that is I have never heard of health issues related to the Apple Pencil. What are those issues? It is something that has never crossed my mind. I am an artist by trade and have been very happy with the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil

Reply to Can't use sidecar
I just found this list from a 3rd party site. The iPad Mini 4 appears to have dropped off the list. It was working fine in the first iPadOS beta. I wish Apple had given us some notice so I could have stopped wasting my time.iPads that support SidecarTo use Sidecar with your iPad, your tablet must support either the first- or second-generation Apple Pencil. These include:Apple Pencil:iPad Air (3rd generation)iPad mini (5th generation)iPad (7th generation)iPad (6th generation)iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2nd generation)iPad Pro 12.9-inch (1st generation)iPad Pro 10.5-inchiPad Pro 9.7-inchApple Pencil (2nd generation):iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation)iPad Pro 11-inch

Reply to Apple Pencil support in Safari
I just checked, and it seems the radius attributes are not defined, so the hack I mentioned is not even possible.😕If anyone has any idea on how to support the pressure sensitive Apple Pencil, while still supporting regular (non-pressure sensitive) touch in Safari, I would be happy to hear from you. Thank so much.

Ios 14.1 battery drain and incredibly slow charging
Since i updated to ios 14.1 last week it has become impossible almost to get my iphone xs max to charge back to levels above 60%. And it charges so slow, so slow. I have of cource checked cable, pulled a new one out but nothing changed. I am lucky if i get it above 60. Where an hour charge would get me a near fully charged phone i now have it on charging for an hour and it charges like 20% more. but the biggest issue is how fast battery gets drained, i can hardly have a call of an hour without having to charge. My batt life and max capacity are 97%, should be okay. i had a 👍 phone untill 14.1. Something went wrong with this ios. I noticed in apps using battery that notes, which i usually have in the background now uses up to 56% of battery (of course i closed but that is not okay either).

Can we charge users to access beta?
We are looking to run a closed beta for our app - however what we are selling is premium video content, bought using an in-app currency. My question is, are we allowed to charge people outside of the app (e.g. through our website) to be part of the beta, whereby they get a testflight invitation and a certain amount of in-app currency. i.e. completely circumventing the app store at this stage. Down the line users will be able to purchase the in-app currency through the app or through our website. We're aware of guideline 3.1.1, Apps may not include buttons, external links, or other calls to action that direct customers to purchasing mechanisms other than IAP. - which we are not in violation of by doing this.We more wondered if anyone had experience doing something similar and being explicitly forbidden to do so during beta since in-app purchase do not cost during beta, yet we are in a way, getting around this matter. Thanks

Reply to Is there a scribble gesture for new line/return?
New line gesture needed! Also, why not add the new line functionality to the double tap on the pencil?
