Display 17 PRO series
Dear colleagues, when will you add the ability to manually adjust the display's color temperature? Everyone is familiar with the color rendering issue on the 17 series. Many complain about the display's yellowish tint. I'm one of those people, with a G9N panel, but I can't get whites right; there's a persistent yellow tint. TrueTone only solves this problem under cool, white lighting conditions. So, the display might work as intended, but how can I make it work consistently? If there were a way to manually adjust TrueTone, many users wouldn't be so upset when buying a new device, fearing the display would be yellow. I'd like users to be able to choose their preferred color, warm or cool, and have a scale to adjust it! This would solve the yellowish tint issue on 17 series displays! Thank you.

Technical Support Request: SM-DP+ Integration and eSIM Profile Download Issue – MKSmart
Dear Apple Carrier Relations / Engineering Team, I am writing to you from MKSmart, a leading smart card and digital security solution provider. We have successfully deployed our SM-DP+ (Subscription Management Data Preparation+) system, which is fully compliant with GSMA standards. Furthermore, MKSmart has officially achieved the GSMA SAS-SM (Security Accreditation Scheme for Subscription Management) certification. Currently, we are facing technical difficulties when attempting to download eSIM profiles onto iPhone devices. The download process fails, and we believe our SM-DP+ server address (FQDN) or Root Certificates may not yet be whitelisted or recognized by Apple’s ecosystem. To ensure a seamless experience for our customers on iOS devices, we would like to request your guidance on the following: Onboarding Process: What are the formal steps for MKSmart to have our SM-DP+ server recognized and trusted by Apple devices? Whitelisting: How can we submit our SM-DP+ FQDN and Root Certificates for App

Abnormally Long “Waiting for Review” (22+ Days) and No Response from App Review
Hello everyone, I am currently experiencing an unusually long review delay along with no response to multiple inquiries, which is very different from my past experience. Current Situation • 22 days have passed since the initial submission. • After more than 10 days with no progress, I canceled and resubmitted the version twice. It is still stuck in “Waiting for Review.” • I have sent 3 inquiry emails. • I also had phone support through another team, and they relayed messages to the App Review team twice. There has still been no response. At this point, I cannot determine whether this is a simple review delay or some kind of account-level hold. From the Developer site, my account appears to be in good standing with no visible warnings or issues. When I asked in other communities about recent review times, most developers reported approvals within 2–3 days, so this does not appear to be a general system-wide delay. Has anyone experienced something similar recently? Is there any more direct or reliable

Reply to UVC over MFi – Is there official support? Implementation guidance?
I’m interested in developing (or interfacing with) an accessory that transmits video over USB using the UVC standard, and I’d like to better understand how this works within the MFi (Made for iPhone) program. This is actually pretty easy to answer, as the answer is it doesn't. That is, the MFi program simply doesn't have anything to do with this. Let me start by explaining what's going on here: From what I understand, USB-C iPads appear to offer more direct support for standard UVC devices. So, there are actually two iPad-specific options here: iPadOS support DriverKit, which, at a purely technical level, means it's possible to create an iPadOS app that directly communicates with any USB device. iPadOS also includes a class-compliant driver for UVC (USB Video Class) devices. For more information on that, see Support external cameras in your iPadOS app from WWDC2023. To some extent, #2 exists to minimize unnecessary disruption from #1. That is, it was (and is) always going to be possible to make a cam

AirPods 4 Bluetooth Firmware Bug in L2CAP
Hello, I am a Bluetooth Engineer at Google investigating an interoperability bug between an Android device and AirPods 4. When requesting an L2CAP connection (with PSM = AVDTP) to the AirPods during SDP service discovery, The AirPods L2CAP layer incorrectly responds with a refused - no resources available status followed by a Pending status and a Success status. This violates the specification, which says that the request has been fully rejected after the refused status and should not receive followup responses. I suspect the no resources available response is a bug. This prevents A2DP from working with the AirPods. This bug does not exist with AirPods 2 firmware. SiriKit: INPlayMediaIntent with a targeted speaker
I've got a streaming Radio app that loads an HLS stream into an AVAudioPlayer. I've set up an Intents extension that notifies SiriKit that my app must handle the INPlayMediaIntent in app, and, I'm able to successfully initiate the stream playing from my phone using the string Play . My intent handler in app looks like this: completionHandler(INPlayMediaIntentResponse(code: .success, userActivity: nil)) DispatchQueue.main.async { AudioPlayerService.shared.play() } The Audio Player service, in its init, does the following: try AVAudioSession.sharedInstance().setCategory( .playback, mode: .default, policy: .longFormAudio ) Additionally, in my Info.plist, I have the AirPlay optimization policy set to Long Form Audio. Having said all that, when I try to route my app to play on a given HomePod speaker (play on ) the speaker routing instructions are never followed. I've looked and not been able to find where I might be able to instruct my app to follow the correct path here. I was assuming I could not trigg

I have the same issues. Submitted my update on February 8th. 3 days later gets rejected and they require a demo video although no new functionality was added. I respond with a video in 30min and wait again 5 days for them to reject my update and ask info how to do basic stuff that were there for 4 versions. I again answered in a 30min time window and didn't hear back for another 4 days. I rejected the update myself and resubmitted it right away, the update got in review in 4 minutes. Whenever I enable Voice Isolation while using the microphone in apps, my voice becomes unclear. Performance degradation and redraw loops when syncing SwiftUI Charts with custom AxisMarks
I am reporting a reproducible performance issue in iOS 18.6 where synchronizing the scroll position of two Chart views via chartScrollPosition(id:) causes a complete redraw loop when custom AxisMarks are used. This occurs even when the axis marks are technically hidden, leading to significant frame drops and stuttering on modern hardware like the iPhone 15. Environment Device: iPhone 15 OS: iOS 18.6 (22G86) Frameworks: SwiftUI, Swift Charts, Observation The Issue When using a shared @Observable state to sync two charts, the scrolling is fluid only if the axes are at their default settings. As soon as a custom AxisMarks block is added to either chart, the following behavior is observed: Diffing Failure: The framework appears unable to maintain the identity of the axis components during the scroll update. Redraw Loop: Instead of an incremental scroll translation, the diffing algorithm triggers a full reload/re-render of both charts on every scroll offset change. Impact: CPU spikes to 100% and

However, when the app is in the Background state (suspended), it consistently crashes with an NSInternalInconsistencyException.
