Recommended way to detect when a user has joined your team via App Store Connect API?
I'm using App Store Connect API to automate onboarding/off-boarding user invitations for my team members when they start working on my app. Once devs join the team, I'd like to invite them to the specific app's beta test group. This requires some additional work after the user has joined the team because unlike visibleApps, there's no way to initially indicate the beta test groups that a user should have access to. One challenge I'm finding is that people don't immediately join the team on time so polling feels a bit excessive/wasteful. Is there some recommended mechanism for adding users to the internal test flight group, or is there a way to trigger a webhook when the list of users is updated. I noticed that there's a new /v1/marketplaceWebhooks API so I imagine this is the recommended format for registering callbacks. Any assistance here would be greatly appreciated.

In-App Purchase Products Not Fetching via Unity IAP in TestFlight Builds
We are experiencing an issue with our iOS TestFlight builds where in-app purchase (IAP) products are not being retrieved as expected. We are using Unity IAP to handle our purchases, and despite having all the products correctly configured and approved in App Store Connect, we consistently receive errors such as: UnityIAP: Received 0 products Unavailable product [product_id] We have thoroughly verified that: The product identifiers are correctly configured in App Store Connect. The bundle ID mappings are correctly set on both Unity and our backend. The same setup works on the live App Store build, where purchases are fetched and validated correctly for the same set of In App products. Sandbox test accounts are being used during TestFlight testing. This issue only started appearing recently and affects the TestFlight builds only. Note: My App ID and Product ID are correct, the IAP is live on the App Store, and the product is recognized in sandbox. Looking forward to your support on this matter.

Analytics Reports API response only returns empty data array
I am following the Downloading Analytics Reports guide which consists of five steps: request the ONGOING report generation for the app once list all analytics report requests for the app list all analytics reports based on the analytics report request id :x: list all analytics report instances based on the analytics report id list all segments of the analytics report instance to get the download url I can only complete the third step which returns a list of all available reports. However when I continue with step four, the request for the analytics report instances returns with a response code 200 but the data array is always empty: I am using the Home Screen Widget Installs report but this is also happening for other reports Also changing or omitting the filter doesn't change anything { "data": [], "links": { "self": "https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/analyticsReports/{reportId}/instances?filter%5Bgranularity%5D=DAILY" }, "meta": { "paging": { "total": 0, "limit": 50 } } } What could be the reason that the data array is empty and how can I fix it because there is no error message?

App Store Connect API `inAppPurchaseV2` returns `links.next`, even when there's no more `data`
I think there's been a recent change to the App Store Connect API; I claim that it's a bug. When querying App Store Connect API endpoints that return arrays, like https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/apps, the response includes a links property, of type PagedDocumentLinks. https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstoreconnectapi/pageddocumentlinks links should include a next link only if there's more data to provide, and, indeed, this is how it works for the /v1/apps endpoint. But when querying inAppPurchasesV2, I find that starting very recently (this week?) the API always returns a next link, even if there's no more data to show. { data: [], links: { self: 'https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/apps/1363309257/inAppPurchasesV2?cursor=APo&limit=50', first: 'https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/apps/1363309257/inAppPurchasesV2?limit=50', next: 'https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/apps/1363309257/inAppPurchasesV2?cursor=ASw' }, meta: { paging: { total: 223, nextCursor: 'ASw', limit: 50 } } } If I request the next link, it will generate me another response with empty data and with a new cursor. { data: [], links: { self: 'https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/apps/1363309257/inAppPurchasesV2?cursor=ASw&limit=50', first: 'https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/apps/1363309257/inAppPurchasesV2?limit=50', next: 'https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/apps/1363309257/inAppPurchasesV2?cursor=AV4' }, meta: { paging: { total: 223, nextCursor: 'AV4', limit: 50 } } } Code I've written against this API (including my open-source library https://github.com/dfabulich/node-app-store-connect-api) assumes that if there's another links.next link, we should follow it; as a result, my code is looping infinitely, requesting empty data until eventually I have to give up. This issue doesn't affect other endpoints, like /v1/apps, just this inAppPurchasesV2 endpoint. Was this an intentional change? It seems to be a bug.

Unable to add banking information
Can't add banking info in App Store Connect - getting 400 error when searching for any bank in any country. Steps: App Store Connect → Banking setup Search any bank, any country "We could not find banks matching criteria" + 400 error in dev tools Tried: Multiple browsers/incognito Different countries Clear cache This is blocking my Paid Apps Agreement (shows "Pending User Info") and my app review for in-app purchases. Anyone else having this issue? Any workarounds? Thanks!

How to match App Store Connect UI for “Installations” & “First-time downloads” from Analytics Reports (dedupe/versioning guidance?)
We fetch the App Store Analytics – App Installs & Deletions (Daily) report via the Analytics Reports API and land each delivery into S3. The rows we ingest contain fields like Date, Event, Download Type, Counts, and Unique Devices. We’re trying to compute for example Installations and First-time downloads so our warehouse totals match the App Store Connect UI exactly, but our counts are consistently higher when we aggregate (with filter conditions being the same). Questions: (1) Official dedupe/versioning approach: What's the recommended approach to avoid double counting across API deliveries and to match the UI exactly? If later deliveries can revise past dates, what field(s) or process should we rely on to decide which records to keep for a given Date? (2) Completeness window: For daily data, is the recommended approach to publish rolling values that may change for a few days, or waiting until dates are considered “complete” before reporting? Any best-practice guidance would be helpful. Thanks!

Using an API key with xcodebuild commands for Enterprise builds
Hey folks, Looking for some assistance with using an API key with xcodebuild commands to archive/export builds on our Enterprise developer account. The goal here is to allow Xcode to completely manage signing/certificates with our cloud distribution certificate, since these builds are happening in CI and we don't want to be manually handling user sessions/certificates on these machines. This is working great with our App Store account, but with our Enterprise account we're getting errors both archiving and exporting the builds. Here's an example of an export command that is giving errors: xcodebuild -exportArchive -exportOptionsPlist /path/to/exportOptions.plist -archivePath /path/to/archive.xcarchive -exportPath /path/to/export -authenticationKeyID *** -authenticationKeyIssuerID *** -authenticationKeyPath /path/to/key.p8 -allowProvisioningUpdates I've put some example values there, but we've double/triple checked the real values when this is actually running. These are the errors we're getting: 2026-02-02 12:30:04.022 xcodebuild[59722:1854348] DVTServices: Received response for 0794248F-E534-474D-ABBF-40C1375B6590 @ <https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/xcbuild/QH65B2/listTeams.action?clientId=XABBG36SBA>. How to retrieve the App Icon?
I need to get the app icon from the AppStore Connect API in order to display a list of my apps. However there seems to be no way. I See in the appstoreconnect.apple.com website that the icons are there and available, there is even a function where you can click on it and get the high res version: https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/apps/1504874998/distribution/ios/version/deliverable (this link is of course not available from the outside) I tried builds/{id}/icons which always returns nothing and found an iconAssetToken object in the builds array, but the link is weirdly formatted and leads to nothing. Hope someone can help, I'm fairly new to the API and the usage is quite odd for me so far. Best, Nils

Template (custom entitlement) name not supported
Hi All! Ever since the new PLA I have issues with adding my entitlements to my profiles. Previously when adding an entitlement I used the format [entitlementName] [AppId] [type] e.g. Apple Pay Pass Suppression [AppId] Development However ever since the new PLA I get an warning in my terminal that the template name is not supported by the App Store Connect API. Anyone that can help me out with the new format? I cant seem to find any helpful documentation online. Thanks! PS: the link in the screenshot points to this website: https://docs.fastlane.tools/actions/match/#managed-capabilities The naming strategy the use on the website doesnt work either: Apple Pay Pass Suppression Development

Unable to Authenticate with App Store Server API in Production (401 Error)
Our application is currently under review, and we are still facing issues because we receive a 401 Unauthorized response from the App Store Connect API when using the production environment. Our app integrates with Chargebee for subscription management, and in production, Chargebee is unable to authenticate with the App Store Server API. This results in a 401 Unauthorized error, preventing the user’s subscription from being synced correctly into our system. Interestingly, the same configuration works in the sandbox environment, but fails in production. We’ve tried authenticating using JWTs generated from multiple keys (including App Store Connect API / Team Keys with both Admin and App Manager access, and also In-App Purchase keys), all with the same result — sandbox access works, production does not. Here is our example code for testing with JWT token: const jwt = require('jsonwebtoken'); const fs = require('fs'); const https = require('https'); const config = { keyId: '<key_id>', issuerId: 'issuer_id', bundleId: 'bundle_id', privateKey: fs.readFileSync('path_to_key') }; const { keyId, issuerId, bundleId, privateKey } = config; const now = Math.floor(Date.now() / 1000); const jwtToken = jwt.sign( { iss: issuerId, iat: now, exp: now + 60 * 10, // 10 minutes is fine for test aud: 'appstoreconnect-v1', bid: bundleId }, privateKey, { algorithm: 'ES256', header: { alg: 'ES256', kid: keyId, typ: 'JWT' } } ); console.log('Generated JWT:\n', jwtToken); // prod const originalTransactionId = '<prod_transaction_id>'; const hostname = 'api.storekit.itunes.apple.com'; // sandbox // const originalTransactionId = '<sandbox_transaction_id>'; // const hostname = 'api.storekit-sandbox.itunes.apple.com' const options = { hostname, port: 443, path: `/inApps/v1/history/${originalTransactionId}`, method: 'GET', headers: { Authorization: `Bearer ${jwtToken}`, 'Content-Type': 'application/json', }, }; const callAppStoreConnectApi = async () => { const req = https.request(options, (res) => { console.log(`\nStatus Code: ${res.statusCode}`); let data = ''; res.on('data', (chunk) => { data += chunk; }); res.on('end', () => { console.log('Response Body:\n', data || '[Empty]'); }); }); req.on('error', (e) => { console.error('Request Error:', e); }); req.end(); }; callAppStoreConnectApi(); With this code, we were able to authenticate successfully in the sandbox environment, but not in production. I read in this discussion: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/711801 that the issue was resolved once the app was published to the App Store, but I haven’t found any official documentation confirming this. Does anyone know what the issue could be?

I tried to use the Connect app this morning and it said a developer account was needed. On the contrary, I am the account holder, which is what the CTA to fix the issue in the app stated to ask for access from. Then I tried to sign in directly on the website and it also didn't respond there. How to build reliable Analytics integration via API?
Hey there, I'm building a service that requires receiving accurate app downloads and sales/proceeds data along with the campaign name. From reading the documentation it looks to be fairly understandable, but in practice it is not that straightforward. For example, I received the first one-time-snapshot detailed report for the App Store Purchases, and it contains partial data for several days. Shouldn't that be a full report of everything in analytics for like last year or so? Should I expect it to be updated and extended in the coming days? For the ongoing detailed report, I have not received anything yet, but I'm afraid it might have partial data as well. I will report here as well.

Fetching app version release dates with App Store Connect API
What App Store Connect API endpoint(s) do I need to use to get the release dates of an app's various app versions? On App Store Connect itself, I can navigate to a given app and select "History", on the left side under General. See screenshot: In the screenshot, you can clearly see that version 1.9 became Ready for Distribution on Nov 12, 2024 at 3:28 AM, and that version 1.10 became Ready for Distribution on February 18, 2025 at 8:10 AM. However, I haven't been able to find to get any of these detailed status history via the App Store Connect API. Specifically I'm looking for release, or "go live", dates for the various versions of a given app. I'd have expected one of these API endpoints, or some combination thereof, to include this information in some way, but I'm just not finding it: GET https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/apps/{id}/appStoreVersions GET https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/appStoreVersions/{id} GET https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/apps/{id}/builds GET https://api.appstoreconnect.apple.com/v1/apps/{id}/reviewSubmissions I've submitted FB16730940 and also via TSI.

Issues with pulling Crash data from API
We are currently experiencing an issue accessing crash data via the App Store Connect Analytics API for several of our mobile apps. Summary of Issue: For certain app IDs, crash data is clearly visible within the App Store Connect UI under the "App Crashes" report. However, when attempting to retrieve this same data via the official Analytics API, no crash data is returned. Our integration makes the following API calls: GET /v1/analyticsReportRequests/<report_id>/reports?filter[category]=APP_USAGE GET /v1/analyticsReports/<instance_id>/instances GET /v1/analyticsReports/<instance_id>/segment (to retrieve download URL) This process works as expected for some apps, where the “App Crashes” report is available and the segment URL is returned. However, for other apps, while the crash data appears in the UI, the API does not return the “App Crashes” report or any segment URL to download the data. We’ve confirmed the report IDs and used the correct authentication headers in our requests. Question Can anyone please advise why crash data for certain apps is not available via the API, even though it is accessible via the UI? Is this a known limitation or a possible configuration issue on our account?

Is there a way to pull Ratings data via API or other method?
We are currently pulling data via the API to look various metrics, including reviews and ratings. However, I noticed the ratings only come in with associated reviews - it doesn't appear there is public access to the API for pulling all historic ratings (without associated reviews). Is this correct? Does anyone know a workaround or way to access the ratings data via API or other method?

App Store Connect API
As of June 9, 2025 we are no longer able to automate the creation of our offline provisioning profiles that we used to do on a weekly basis for testing of our internal products offline. I am not sure if the isOfflineProfile was an undocumented attribute that we were using, or if it was deprecated or if the removal of that capability was an oversight. The release notes for 4.0 of the API don't mention a deprecation. https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstoreconnectapi/app-store-connect-api-4-0-release-notes When making the request to the v1/profiles endpoint to create the provisioning profile we now receive the following response: { "status": "409", "code": "ENTITY_ERROR.ATTRIBUTE.UNKNOWN", "title": "The provided entity includes an unknown attribute", "detail": "'isOfflineProfile' is not an attribute on the resource 'profiles'", "source": { "pointer": "/data/attributes/isOfflineProfile" } }

App Store Connect API `inAppPurchaseV2` returns `links.next`, even when there's no more `data`

App Store Connect is unavailable
I tried to use the Connect app this morning and it said a developer account was needed. On the contrary, I am the account holder, which is what the CTA to fix the issue in the app stated to ask for access from. Then I tried to sign in directly on the website and it also didn't respond there. FB19906255 - App Store Connect: Connect app not responding and neither is App Store Connect portal Aug 26, 8:15 AM Central Posting in case others run into this, I have not seen the developer status page report anything yet: https://developer.apple.com/system-status/

stuck in “Waiting for Review” since February 7
Hello Apple Developer Support, My app has been stuck in “Waiting for Review” since February 7, and I have submitted multiple inquiries without receiving any response. This delay has now become extremely concerning. Missing a planned launch due to an indefinite review timeline is very difficult for independent developers. If there is an issue with the submission, I would appreciate clear communication. If there are review delays, transparency would help us plan accordingly. I respect the review process, but the lack of updates after this amount of time is frustrating. I would sincerely appreciate clarification on the status. I kindly ask for a specific and personalized response regarding my case, as my previous inquiries received only general or automated replies without addressing the actual issue. Apple ID: 6758804549 Thank you.

As of June 9, 2025 we are no longer able to automate the creation of our offline provisioning profiles that we used to do on a weekly basis for testing of our internal products offline. I am not sure if the isOfflineProfile was an undocumented attribute that we were using, or if it was deprecated or if the removal of that capability was an oversight. The release notes for 4.0 of the API don't mention a deprecation. https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstoreconnectapi/app-store-connect-api-4-0-release-notes When making the request to the v1/profiles endpoint to create the provisioning profile we now receive the following response: { "status": "409", "code": "ENTITY_ERROR.ATTRIBUTE.UNKNOWN", "title": "The provided entity includes an unknown attribute", "detail": "'isOfflineProfile' is not an attribute on the resource 'profiles'", "source": { "pointer": "/data/attributes/isOfflineProfile" } }
