Hi! We are trying to request the SensorKit entitlement (com.apple.developer.sensorkit.reader.allow) for a research app we’re working on. When we go to Apple Developer → Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles → Identifiers, we see the SensorKit capability listed under Capability Requests, but: There’s no form or button to submit the request, unlike with other capabilities. We tested this using an Account Holder role, and also tried requesting other capabilities — which do show the form correctly, so this seems to be an issue specific to SensorKit. We’d appreciate any guidance on: Whether this is a known issue with the SensorKit request flow. If there’s an alternative way to request this capability while the form is unavailable. Thanks in advance!

We are building a CarPlay app and have run into an issue with data updates. When the app is running on the CarPlay display and the iPhone screen is locked, no data updates are shown on the CarPlay screen. As soon as the phone is unlocked, the data updates appear instantly on the CarPlay display. Has anyone encountered this behavior before? Is there a specific setting, entitlement, or background mode we need to enable in order to ensure the CarPlay app continues to receive and display data while the iPhone is locked? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
I have an app that displays a MapView. While I am in light mode everything is fine. I can scroll around the map and my overlays (made by UIVisualEffectView containing an UIGlassEffect) stay light and look well! As soon as I change my phone to dark mode, depending on what's underneath the buttons (a light residential area or darker wooded areas) some of my buttons change color. But not all, only where it's supposedly lighter or darker underneath. This makes my whole UI look strange. Some buttons bright, some dark. Is there a way to lock a color or interfaceStyle to the effects-view? In light mode everything is fine, but in dark mode it just looks super strange.
When the app launches, it assigns the correct string stored in NSUserDefaults to the instance variable (serverAddress) of type NSString.
Afterwards, when the app transitions to a suspended state and receives a VoIP Push notification approximately 4 hours later, causing the app to enter the background state, referencing the value of serverAddress may result in it showing as <NSMallocBlock: 0x106452d60> even though it hasn't been deallocated. This does not occur every time. The specific class definitions are as follows. @implementation NewPAPEOPLEClient
{
NSString* serverAddress;
NSString* apiKey;
dispatch_semaphore_t lock;
NSMutableArray* errCallID;
} #define PREF_STR(key) [[NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults] stringForKey:(key) The global instance variable (serverAddress) is set with the following value when the application starts: serverAddress = PREF_STR(@APP_CONTACT_SERVICE_SERVER_ADDRESS) Based on the above, please answer the following questions. (1) If the instance variable's value be
HI all, I'm in the early stages of testing a game that will have real-time device-to-device communication using GameCenter. I've read something about setting up GameCenter sandbox accounts to test prior to the game's release, but I can't find anything reliable about how to do so. I've found lots of web pages which purport to describe how to do this task, but what they describe seems to be outdated, as the steps don't appear to be available in modern versions of iOS. I'm testing on iOS 18 and 26. Document search isn't helping--I mostly find information on how to set up StoreKit sandbox accounts, which I assume are different things altogether--so if you could point me towards an article that allows me to test a new, unreleased GameKit app between devices, I'd appreciate it. People are developing GameCenter apps, so I know it's possible... advTHANKSance

ApplePaySession.applePayCapabilities() started returning applePayUnsupported in third-party browsers
We rely on ApplePaySession.applePayCapabilities() to decide whether to show the Apple Pay button. We use two different merchant IDs for non-prod/prod environments, and encountered a change in behavior where this API now returns different results. These merchant IDs are generated from a third-party provider Adyen. However, Adyen has informed us that they are unable to identify the root cause of the issue and advised us to seek assistance directly from Apple Pay support. Timeline Last known working date: 13/08/2025 Issue first noticed: 18/08/2025 Environment Details Apple Pay JS API version 1.latest Browsers Tested: Third party browsers including Chrome/139.0.0.0, Firefox/141.0 Browsers with ApplePaySession built-in (like iOS Chrome, iOS Safari, and macOS Safari) are working fine Framework Stack: Angular v18.1.3 (important) no configuration setup in Apple dev account, merchantId is generated from a third-party provider Adyen. Current Execution Flow: Apple Pay JS API script element is injected Triggers
Support was able to help me out. Turned out that the company developer account was linked to my private payment profile or something preventing the renew to happen.

Hello, I’m having trouble enabling Background Location updates on my iOS app. Xcode: 26.0 beta Team: Individual Developer Program (paid, activated recently) Device: iPhone (physical device, registered and provisioned) Problem When building to device, I get the error: Provisioning profile iOS Team Provisioning Profile: com.mybundle.id doesn't include the com.apple.developer.background-modes entitlement. Automatic signing failed. On the simulator the build succeeds, but on device the signing fails unless I remove the background-modes entitlement from .entitlements. What I tried Enabled Background Modes → Location updates in Signing & Capabilities (UI only). Info.plist contains UIBackgroundModes = location and the required NSLocation…UsageDescription keys. Cleaned Derived Data, removed cached provisioning profiles (~/Library/Developer/Xcode/UserData/Provisioning Profiles). Changed Bundle Identifier to force regeneration of provisioning profiles. Deleted and recreated provisioning profiles from Xcode. Tried b

After reading your post i really regret doing this migration as well, i sent over basically every corporate doc that i have for them to verify and they are rejecting it leaving my account in limbo. Stripe, Google all the other companies verified my docs no problem. I can't make new versions for bug fixes, nothing. We are going on 2 weeks here.

I have implemented fetching Apple Music preview songs using a Swift framework integrated into a Unity app. My requirement is to fetch full tracks from a user’s Apple Music library and play them inside Unity. To do this, I understand that I need to handle authentication, generate a Developer Token, and then obtain a Music User Token to access the user’s Apple Music content. Currently, I have an Individual Apple Developer account (not Organization). Based on my research, it seems that: With an Individual account, I can implement this functionality and even upload builds to TestFlight for internal testing. However, when releasing the app publicly on the App Store, full-track playback may be restricted for Individual accounts and allowed only for Organization accounts. 👉 Can you confirm if this understanding is correct? 👉 Specifically, is it possible for an Individual account to fetch and play full-length tracks from a subscribed Apple Music user’s library (at least

App Review Stuck in Extended Review for almost 2 weeks (After “No Additional Info Required” Message)
Hi, We’re reaching out to the community because we’re stuck in a situation that’s becoming critical for our launch timeline and could really use some advice. We submitted our app on August 11, 2025. Over the following days, we worked closely with App Review, made revisions, and provided every piece of information they requested. On August 19, 2025, we finally received this message: “Your submission’s review will require additional time as we take this new information into account. We do not require any further information at this time. Once we have thoroughly reviewed your submission, we will either contact you in App Store Connect to communicate any issues found, or your submission will be approved.” We followed up days later and got this response: “We apologize for the delay. Your submission is still in review but is requiring additional time. We will provide further status updates as soon as we are able.” It’s been 12+ days with no updates, and the app is still stuck in “Unresolved Issue” status.

Also experiencing the same issue here! Here's my timeline: Last time it worked: 13/08/2025 First time problem noticed: 18/08/2025 so it seems something changed between those dates. We also rely on ApplePaySession.applePayCapabilities to decide whether to show the Apple Pay button. Conflicting results between merchantIds? Adding some additional context here, we use two different merchant IDs for our environments, and they return conflicting results when calling: await window.ApplePaySession.applePayCapabilities(`${merchantId_credentials}`); //env1 { paymentCredentialStatus: applePayUnsupported } //env2 { paymentCredentialStatus: paymentCredentialStatusUnknown } Our current implementation environment is as below, Environment: Third party browsers Apple Pay JS API version 1.latest No configuration setup in Apple dev account, we use the merchantId generated by a third-party payment integration app Since the environments are on different domains, we thought the issue might be domain-related, but so far, n

I have a team I was added to for development XCode refuses to do it's job. It literally only displays 3 teams, and it refuses to acknowledge the fact that it's missing one of the development teams I am on. All I want to do is test this damn app. I have tried the following: Signing out and back in Clearing the cache at ~/Library/Caches/com.dt.XCode or whatever Clearing the cache at ~/Library/Support/XCode or whatever I really can't be bothered to remember, seeing as how they didn't matter I have tried searching high and low, manually installing certificates, I nuked my keychain after logging out and then restarted, logged back in, STILL NOTHING. I genuinely don't know what to do, and it's so frustrating because this is like, an issue I should have in 2005, not in 2025. Syncing a team from an account should not be something I have to search high and low for, find no answers, and then end up here, posting, when it's literally a GET/POST request. If I am doing something wrong, lord knows what it is. I ca
I am suddenly getting this now, and can't find any reason for it. Checked my account, Team ID and account status is all good.
