26.4 RC documentation omits Foundation?!
I just installed Xcode 26.4 RC (17E192) yesterday and found that the documentation window now omits Foundation for me. Searching for "Date" finds the date property from GameKit, Core Data, ... but no Date type. I was previously using 26.4 beta and this was not the case. Is anyone else seeing the same thing?

TestFlight External Build Stuck in 'Waiting for Review' for 32+ Hours
Hi everyone, My TestFlight build has been stuck in 'Waiting for Review' for over 32 hours and I'm hoping someone can help or share their experience. The situation: I have an External Testing group with a Public Link set up. The build was submitted for Beta App Review on March 19th but it's been over 32 hours with no update. I have 25+ testers waiting to install the app. What I've tried: Waited patiently Checked App Store Connect multiple times No rejection emails received No issues flagged by Apple Questions: Is anyone else experiencing unusually long review times for TestFlight external builds right now? Is there anything I can do to speed up the process or check if something is wrong? Has anyone successfully resolved this by contacting Apple Developer Support directly? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Apple Support Case ID: 102846633409

Looking for TestFlight feedback on Steady, an app for impulse interruption
Hi everyone, I’m testing an iPhone app called Steady through TestFlight and would love honest feedback. Steady is built for the moment right before someone acts on an urge they may regret. The core idea is to create a short pause before action, then let the user log what happened so they can spot patterns over time. Use cases could be things like sending a text you shouldn’t, reacting too fast, opening something you wanted to avoid, or other impulsive moments. I’m mainly looking for feedback on three things: Does the concept feel useful in real life? Is the flow clear or confusing? What feels unnecessary or missing? TestFlight link: https://testflight.apple.com/join/YsnDsGR5 Appreciate any honest feedback.

MacOS 26.4 beta “Failed to prepare software update”
I have received this installation error attempting to upgrade from MacOS 26.4 beta 2 to beta 3 on my Intel 2020 27” iMac, and now trying to install beta 4 from beta 3 on my M1 Max MBP. I have seen from a sprinkling of post that some others have had the same issue. I was able to successfully perform the 2 to 3 upgrade on the iMac in safe boot, suggesting possible compatible, third-party app. But that did not work for beta 4 on either device. I have submitted feedback for each episode. Any others have this issue? Unusual for Apple, I have never had any issues installing beta software before.

Beta Update Killed Mini M4
I dutifully upgraded my software (beta) on Feb. 24 when prompted. I could not get the computer to reboot, then after about 5 hours on the phone with, I think, 4 techs, they told me the only solution was to wait for the next update - I could not go backwards to the regular version. So $1,299 later I have a new Mac Mini M4! I have to work, so it was the only solution. What do I win?

WiFi not working since build 25E5218f
I installed the latest build of Tahoe (25E5218f) yesterday on our test machine, an M1 Pro MacBook Pro and have been having a hard time getting my WiFi network to work. It's especially noticeable in Mail and Safari. Mail shows it can't connect to the designated server, and Safari simply can't connect to most sites. None of my other devices or computers are having problems, so I have to assume it's this last build that is the culprit. When I tether to my iPhone Air, everything pops back into place and I can access Mail and use Safari. I've reported the problem with FBA, but wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing the same thing.

macOS 26.4 Dev Beta 2 Install Fails
Hardware: • Mac Studio (M1 Ultra) • Apple Silicon • Sufficient free disk space (~35GB+ available) • SIP enabled • 4 local Time Machine snapshots present Current System: • Already running macOS Tahoe beta • Attempting upgrade to macOS Tahoe 26.4 Beta (Build 25E5207k) Primary Issue: Software Update downloads successfully, then moves to “Preparing…”. It stalls at “About 5 minutes remaining” for ~10–15 minutes and fails with: “Failed to prepare the software update. Please try again. An error occurred while downloading the selected updates.” The error appears network-related, but download always completes. Observed Behaviour: • “Checking for Updates” completes in <3 minutes. • softwareupdated and mobileassetd CPU usage <1%. • softwareupdate --history shows no record of the failed beta install. • No excessive system load or obvious disk pressure. Steps Already Attempted: 1. Standard Software Update retries • Multiple download/retry cycles from System Settings. • Same Preparing failure every time. 2. Permissions / Disk Access • Granted Terminal Full Disk Access. • SIP remains enabled. • Some system-protected locations still return “Operation not permitted”. 3. Cache / State Cleanup Attempts • Removed /Library/Updates/*. • Cleared temporary softwareupdate folders under /private/var/tmp. • Attempted MobileAsset cache cleanup where permitted. • Killed softwareupdated and mobileassetd processes (auto-restarted by launchd). 4. Beta Channel Reset • Turned Beta Updates OFF in System Settings. • Rebooted. • Re-enabled Beta Updates. • Forced catalog refresh via softwareupdate -l. 5. Snapshot Check • tmutil listlocalsnapshots / shows only 4 snapshots (normal range). 6. Full Installer Workaround softwareupdate --list-full-installers shows: • macOS Tahoe Beta 26.4 (25E5207k) • Tahoe 26.3 / 26.2 / 26.1 • Sequoia / Sonoma / Ventura / Monterey installers Downloaded installer via: softwareupdate –fetch-full-installer –full-installer-version 26.4 Installer downloaded correctly: /Applications/Install macOS Tahoe Beta.app 7. startosinstall Method (Apple Silicon optimized) Attempted install with: sudo “/Applications/Install macOS Tahoe Beta.app/Contents/Resources/startosinstall” –user –agreetolicense –nointeraction –forcequitapps –rebootdelay 30 –passprompt Authorization succeeds, installer begins preparing, but installation still ultimately fails. Additional Notes: • CPU usage remains low during failure. • No excessive snapshot count. • Error messaging consistently references download/network even though download completes. • Issue appears to occur during cryptex/asset preparation phase rather than initial download. Question for Apple / other developers: Has anyone else seen Tahoe 26.4 beta fail specifically during the Preparing phase on Apple Silicon (especially Ultra-class chips)? Looking for confirmation whether this is a known MobileAsset or cryptex staging issue, or if logs indicate a deeper APFS / volume-owner authorization problem.

What Xcode version will be used for SSC evaluation?
Hello! Because the compilers used by different versions of Xcode 26 may be different, and I find that my app may not be able to ensure that all versions of Xcode 26 are successfully compiled. For example, my app can run on Xcode26.3 but will report an error at 26.4 (I have fixed it now). So I want to confirm which version of Xcode the jury uses to run my app, whether it is a known version or the latest version in the future. Thanks!

iOS/iPadOS 26.3 beta 3 and UIFileSharingEnabled regression
FB21772424 On any iPhone or iPad running 26.3 beta 3 with UIFileSharingEnabled enabled via Xcode, a file cannot be manually copied to/from macOS or manually deleted from Finder but 26.3 beta 2 works fine running on any iPhone or iPad. The version of macOS is irrelevant as both macOS 26.2.1 and macOS 26.3 beta 3 are unable to affect file changes via macOS Finder on iPhone or iPad running 26.3 beta 3 but can affect file changes via macOS Finder on iPhone or iPad running 26.2.1 Thank you.

Cannot Install Developer Beta Update OTA or IPSW
I’m a registered iOS developer, and I’ve been facing an issue with installing iOS developer updates for the past couple of years. I can download the updates, but they get stuck at 99.9% complete and don’t finish. I’ve tried following the instructions to force restart the phone, but it stays on the Apple logo screen until it dies. I can update official iOS versions, but not beta versions. To update, I have to put the phone in DFU mode and install the update that way. This is frustrating and prevents me from making timely updates to my app and from diagnosing new issues during testing. I’d like to request that Apple investigate this issue and identify a solution. For reference, I’ve installed a bare-bones version with no new apps, and the problem persists. I would like a resolution that allows me to update normally without having to DFU the phone each time. This occurs via OTA or IPSW manual download and installation. Please refer to the following FB submission numbers: FB21642029 and FB21017894. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE RESPOND BACK TO THIS MESSAGE AND HELP ME TROUBLESHOOT THIS ISSUE?!

iPadOS 26.3 Beta 1 RequiresFullScreen Deprecation
Hello everyone, I have an app that is used in the education sector for high stakes assessment testing. I reviewed a lot of the WWDC2025 information in June, however, it seems we missed something critical in the What's new in UIKIt presentation. That would be the deprecation of UIRequiresFullScreen. We currently use this in our app and have been using it since iOS/iPad OS 9 when our app was written. The deprecation of this property has caused some major issues in our layout. Keep in mind we are a hybrid app so our mobile app is self-hosting a fullscreen version of WKWebView under the hood. This is common across assessment developers in the education sector. I removed the property and went through the migration guide (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/technotes/tn3192-migrating-your-app-from-the-deprecated-uirequiresfullscreen-key) and it doesn't appear to be straight forward on how to lock the orientation in landscape. I tried several different approaches: Requesting the screen orientation lock we had issues where if a user launched it in portrait it would be locked to portrait but we would want to update the display to shift it to landscape as a business requirement supporting both landscape right and landscape left. We also tried overriding the method supportedInterfaceOrientations and utilizing the .landscape enum with no success. It fires just fine but nothing takes effect. Backwards compatibility support there is no guidance on backwards compatibility support and Xcode wants us to do an availability check when using some of the new methods for updating geometry. What is the guidance in this case because we support back to iPadOS 16.0 as a business requirement. Can anyone give us some insight as we are current trying to get ahead of this while 26.3 is still in beta as this would affect our customers deeply because of the UI jank we get as a result of this deprecation.

Side Button Access entitlement not appearing in Xcode capabilities list
Hi everyone, I'm trying to add the Side Button Access entitlement to my voice-based conversational app following the documentation, but I'm unable to find it in Xcode. Steps I followed: Selected my app target in Xcode project navigator Went to the Signing & Capabilities tab Clicked the + Capability button Searched for "Side Button Access" Problem: The "Side Button Access" option does not appear in the capabilities list at all. Environment: I'm developing and testing in Japan (where this feature should be available) Xcode version: Xcode 26.2 beta 3 iOS deployment target: iOS 26.2 Questions: Is there any pre-registration or special approval process required from Apple before this entitlement becomes available? Are there any additional requirements or prerequisites I need to meet? Is this feature already available, or is it still in a limited beta phase? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

60 hours 'waiting for review' for TestFlight build
We submitted our test flight build Thursday night, it's been over 60 hours. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to expedite this? I contacted support by going through Distribution -> TestFlight although it might be seen as a generic testflight question. The expedited app review route seems like it's only for AppStore.

iOS 26.2 Beta 23C5044b Phone's battery reports 0% Health, leaving it on multiple chargers (high/low wattage) doesn't change anything. Icon changes to charging. Changed the battery with a high quality aftermarket of ~70% charge, same issue. Unable to remove beta or update to RC2 due to the 20% minimum required... not sure what to do.

AgeRangeService system prompt does not allow displaying upper age threshold (e.g. 18+)
We are using AgeRangeService.requestAgeRange(ageGates:in:) with an age gate of 18 to verify adult users. The system prompt always displays the lower-bound wording (“17 or Younger”), even when the app’s requirement is to verify users who are 18 or older. We understand the UI is system-controlled; however, this wording causes confusion for users, QA, and product teams, as it appears to indicate a child-only flow even when requesting adult verification. Based on the demonstration video, it appears that they have another more coherent message. In Apple's example, it is different, and it is correct that we need to specify 18 years or older in the implementation. A little more context might be helpful, but we are creating a kind of wrapper with React Native that receives that value as a parameter, which is 18.
