                      In order to create a UITextView like that of the Messages app whose height grows to fits its contents (number of lines), I subclassed UITextView and customized the intrinsicContentSize like so:
override var intrinsicContentSize: CGSize {
    var size = super.intrinsicContentSize

    if size.height == UIView.noIntrinsicMetric {
        layoutManager.glyphRange(for: textContainer)
        size.height = layoutManager.usedRect(for: textContainer).height + textContainerInset.top + textContainerInset.bottom
    }

    return size
}
As noted at WWDC, accessing layoutManager will force TextKit 1, we should instead use textLayoutManager. How can this code be migrated to support TextKit 2?

                      I'm running macOS 15.5. I now have Xcode 26 and I'm testing my iOS app against iOS 26. I've encountered several UIKit / iOS 26 bugs I'd like to report. In Feedback Assistant I choose "Developer Technologies & SDKs". Eventually I get asked "What build does the issue occur on?". The list of choices is:
iOS 18.2 Seed 4
iOS 18.1.1
iOS 17.7.2
An earlier iOS build
I'm not sure
So how to I report this as an iOS 26 beta 1 issue?

                      Hi community my name is Adam Robles. I have a question. I recently downloaded the beta on my iPad Pro 13 inch and I noticed where are the iPad wallpapers I only get one wallpaper, but where what happened to the wallpaper that was released with iPad last year

                      I just noticed this today while building a React Native app.
Anybody else seen this and know what it means/how to track it down/how to fix it

                      I have non-consumable and consumable in-app purchases in my app. The tutorial I was following stated Transaction.currentEntitlements includes unfinished consumables, which is incorrect according to the documentation. Is the correct way to handle unfinished consumables (and non-consumables) to implement Transaction.updates and call finish() if it’s verified? The documentation says that listener will receive unfinished transactions once upon app launch, so with that, do I understand correctly you do not need to implement Transaction.unfinished unless you want to look for unfinished transactions manually later on? Otherwise what is the correct and most recommended way to handle unfinished consumables? Is there a way to test that scenario in Xcode?

                      Hi Apple developer community. I have a question a lot of users don’t like the new control center and notification center. Are you guys gonna blur the background or are you guys gonna keep it the same?

                      How reliable is the Models, to use as a comparison, such as a cholesterol test, to inform, for example, whether it is worth it to go see a doctor?
I would like to use Tool to attach the simple blood test data to the session and with this the Model can analyse and made a simple suggestion if is necessary to see a doctor etc.. ?
ps.: Local model

                      I was recently made aware of a relatively new method on PTChannelManagerDelegate that allows the backend infrastructure to update the PTT service on a device.
incomingServiceUpdatePush(channelManager:channelUUID:pushPayload:isHighPriority:remainingHighPriorityBudget:completion:)
I remember the person stated that there was a specific format that the payload must have, but I am unable to find any documentation about it.
Can somebody point me to documentation on how to send this type of push notification for incomingServiceUpdatePush or give me an example payload? I believe it uses the same PTT push token, but if the headers are different, then please specify those differences too. Thanks!

                      I have the following function
private func SetupLocaleObserver ()
    {
        NotificationCenter.default.addObserver (
            forName: NSLocale.currentLocaleDidChangeNotification,
            object: nil,
            queue: .main
        ) {_ in
            print ("Locale changed to: \(Locale.current.identifier)");
        }
    }
I call this function inside the viewDidLoad () method of my view controller. The expectation was that whenever I change the system or app-specific language preference, the locale gets changed, and this change triggers my closure which should print "Locale changed to: " on the console.
However, the app gets terminated with a SIGKILL whenever I change the language from the settings. So, it is observed that sometimes my closure runs, while most of the times it does not run - maybe the app dies even before the closure is executed.
So, the question is, what is the use of this particular notification if the corresponding closure isn't guaranteed to be executed before the app dies? Or am I using it the wrong way?

                      On iPads after updating to iPadOS 16.4, Safari often "looses" the session cookie provided by PlayFramework: When the browser requests assets (js scripts) or when additional data is fetched by JavaScript, the session cookie is not included in the request.
These secondary requests will redirect through our IAM because no session cookie is present. The IAM redirects back to the original domain with a payload so that the login session can be resumed. A new Set-Cookie header is sent in the response with the new session cookie.
This causes the framework to issue a new CSRF token (that is part of the session cookie) which is different from the old one that was already rendered into a hidden form input. The browser stores this new token and includes it when it POSTs the form. The token in the body of the request is now different from the one in the cookies, causing the CSRF check to fail.
We have tried different devices (Android, Windows, MacBook, and iPads) on different versions. The problem only occurs with Safari on iPad/MacBook running version 16.4, 16.4.1, or 16.5 beta. The problem cannot be reproduced using Chrome on iPad. Furthermore, the problem does not occur with private browsing in Safari.
Some things we ruled out:
Same behaviour on devices managed by MDM and on open devices.
PlayFramework version is now updated to the latest 2.8 version.
Using a separate cookie for the CSRF token (instead of the play session cookie) does not make a difference either.
Modifying the Cache-Control header to cache responses more aggressively or not at all does not help.
Has anyone also experienced this or similar problems?

                      Opening this question after discussing the issue in the AVCapture lab, hopefully so we can track down this issue.
We've been noticing some crashes in App Store Connect caused by layoutSublayers being called on a background thread.
After debugging the issue a bit we found that all calls which modified the AVCaptureSession or preview layer were indeed done on the main thread. It would be useful to see what results in AVCaptureVideoPreviewLayer.updateFormatDescription being called.
I've attached the crashlog below.

                      I have noticed that in iOS 14 the UIPickerView has by default a light grey background on the selected Row like shown here.
https://developer.apple.com/design/human-interface-guidelines/ios/controls/pickers/
I noticed also that pickerView.showsSelectionIndicator is deprecated on iOS 14.
Is there a way to change the background color to white and add separators to achieve a pre iOS 14 UIPickerView style?
Thank you

                      I pushed a configuration to my iPhone through MDM to run the content filter. However, when I modify the configuration by adding some vendor-configuration , I lose connection to the debugger and can no longer see logs or the updated configuration in Xcode. I have to build the app again. Could this be an issue with Xcode, or is it related to MDM or the configuration itself?

                      Our company is developing an MFi headset with a button that we would like to use for initiating PTT.
We can detect the button press and initiate PTT successfully, even when the app is not in the foreground, using the ExternalAccessory framework.
But I wonder if this is a coincidence, or a scenario that should reliably work with Push to Talk?

                      I have an app that displays artwork via MPMediaItem.artwork, requesting an image with a specific size. How do I get a media item's MPMediaItemAnimatedArtwork, and how to get the preview image and video to display to the user?

                      Hi, I'm looking for the best way to use MLX models, particularly those I've fine-tuned, within a React Native application on iOS devices. Is there a recommended integration path or specific API for bridging MLX's capabilities to React Native for deployment on iPhones and iPads?

                      After doing a software update I can only view iMessages older than 12hrs (from a single contact) if the other person replies to and older message. Every time I leave the Massages app and go back in the issue occurs again.

                      I'm pretty excited for the all new iOS 26 redesign, but what I'm most excited for is the call screening feature to avoid unwanted calls.
I downloaded the developer's beta on my secondary device to report bugs, but call screening doesn't work on it even though it's turned on. I already sent a feedback report, but I'm not sure if it's just a beta bug or that my iPhone won't support it. I haven't found much info about it.
It's a 2nd gen SE.
Thanks.
