For visionOS App Store listings, screenshots are supposed to be 3840 × 2160.
However, when I save screenshots from the Simulator, they are only 2732  × 2048.
Is there a setting to generate full-size screenshots from the simulator? Or is there a way to save screenshots of the app window without the scene background?
As the Apple Vision Pro is not being sold yet (and won't be outside the US for a while) taking screenshots on the device is not really an option.
Of course, we can add borders or scale up the Simulator screenshots, but it seems weird that the expected screenshot size does not match the Simulator output.

                      While testing my application on iOS beta 26, I am experiencing issues with the native UISegmentedControl component from UIKit. After implementing the control, I noticed that I am unable to switch to the second segment option—the selection remains fixed on the first segment regardless of user interaction. I have already reviewed the initial configuration of the control, the addition of the segments, and the implementation of the target-action, but the issue persists. I would like to understand what could be causing this behavior and if there are any specific adjustments or workarounds for iOS 26.
I created a minimal application containing only a UISegmentedControl to clearly demonstrate the issue.

                      How do you force quit apps on the Vision Pro simulator?
I've read online you can double press the digital crown on a real Vision Pro device but there is no such button on the simulator. So far I've tried
Pressing the home button twice (⇧⌘H)
Pressing the Siri button twice (⌥⇧⌘H)
None of them works
I'm on Xcode 15.0 beta 5 (15A5209g) & visionOS 1.0 beta 2 (21N5207e)

                      before I start this could just be me and handful of people but I like to reorganize my phone screen to my needs based on what’s going on in life. I was jaut thinking it would be easier if u could get rid of all the folders at once then reorganize or something easier than this long extensive process it is now.

                      Apple Vision Pro support issue. The app contains the following UIRequiredDeviceCapabilities values, which aren’t supported in visionOS: [arkit].
When I try and distribute a build to the AppStore in Xcode, it comes up with this message, I have not selected Vision Pro as part of my build, can anyone please help? Thanks!

                      My app worked correctly using iOS 18. I tried to down grade back to iOS 18, but there are no signed ipsw file available.
How can I down grade my iphone back to iOS 18?

                      Hi,
I am trying to bring an existing Unity app to vision pro, and am trying to make all of the librairies compatible (the project loads native libs at runtime).
For some of them, there is an arm64 IOS .framework file that seems to build and be found easily in the device, but for one of them I only got a .dylib.
When building on xcode, it tells me it can't find it. So I added it to the lib search path in build settings, and it built. But on the device, it still can't seem to find the .dylib :
Library not loaded: ./libpdfium.dylib
  Referenced from: <59B1ACCC-FFFD-3448-B03D-69AE95604C77> /private/var/containers/Bundle/Application/0606D884-CB09-44CA-8E4F-4A309D2E7053/[...].app/Frameworks/UnityFramework.framework/UnityFramework
  Reason: tried: '/usr/lib/system/introspection/libpdfium.dylib' (no such file, not in dyld cache), './libpdfium.dylib' (no such file), '/usr/lib/system/introspection/libpdfium.dylib' (no such file, not in dyld cache), '//libpdfium.dylib' (no such file)
I am not used to Apple environment, is there a way to correctly reference this .dylib (not talking about compatibility here, just the first "lib found" step) ?
Thanks.

                      Hi, we would like to create something where you can open multiple volumetric windows and place them in a room, our biggest issue is that we want these windows to be persistent, so when I close and reopen the app, the windows to be in the same position. We can't use immersive spaces because we also want to have the possibility to access the shared space.
Is it possible with the current features and capabilities to do that? If yes do you have some advices how can we achieve this?
The alternative is if is it possible to open the virtual display in immersive spaces or if we have the possibility to implement our own virtual display.

                      As seen in the screenshot below, I set up a visionOS project at the beginning in Xcode 16 and later add iOS as a different platform it's also running.
And I use swiftUI as the framework for UI layout here. It runs smoothly on visionOS. However, when it comes to iOS, even if I have included modifiers as .edgesIgnoringSafeArea(.all), the display still shrinks to only weird certain area on the screen (I also tried to modify the ContentView() window size in App file and it doesn't work). Anybody has any idea for the across platform UI settings? What should I do to make the UI on iOS display normally (and it looks even more weird when it comes to Tab bars)?

                      Hello,
I am experimenting with Unity to develop a mixed reality (MR) application for visionOS. I would like to understand the best approach for structuring my project:
Should I build the entire experience in Unity (both Windows and Volumes)?
Or is it better to create only certain elements (e.g., Volumes) in Unity while managing Windows separately in Xcode?
Also, how well do interactions (e.g pinch, grab…) created in Unity integrate with Xcode?
If I use the PolySpatial plugin, does that allow me to manage all interactions entirely within Unity, or would I still need to handle/integrate part of it in Xcode?
What's worked best for you? Please let me know if you have any recommendations, Thanks!

Main App Window – This is the default window that launches when the app starts. It displays the video listings and other primary content.
Immersive Space Window – This opens only when a user starts streaming or playing a video.
Issue:
When entering the immersive space, the main app window remains visible in front of it unless manually closed. To avoid this, I currently close the main window when transitioning to immersive space and reopen it when exiting. However, this causes the app to restart instead of resuming from its previous state.
Desired Behavior:
I want the main app window to retain its state and seamlessly resume from where it was before entering immersive mode, rather than restarting.
Attempts & Challenges:
Tried managing opacity, visibility, and state preservation, but none worked as expected.
Couldn’t find a way to push the main window to the background while bringing the immersive space to the foreground.
Looking for a solution to keep the main window’s state intact while transitioning between immersive and normal modes.

                      Hi everyone,
My team and I are developing an accessibility-focused VisionOS app (MindTap) as part of a university project, aiming to support individuals with Locked-In Syndrome using Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) signals to trigger interactions (e.g., tapping) within the Apple Vision Pro environment.
Problem 1: Simulating Eye Tracking in Simulator
We are testing onHover with Send pointer to the device under I/O > Input in the simulator, and while it mostly works (a bit laggy), we found that onHover won't function on the actual Vision Pro hardware. From what I understand, we should be using FocusState for proper gaze interaction, but testing this requires the physical device. Is there any workaround or official Apple-recommended way to simulate Focus-based gaze detection without a real Vision Pro?
Problem 2: WebSocket-triggered "Click" doesn't work outside the app
We successfully use WebSocket to send a custom signal (a "1" from the brain signal device) to trigger an action inside our app. However, when the user opens a third-party app like Apple News, the WebSocket-triggered "click" no longer works.
We suspect this is due to sandbox restrictions or lack of system-level permissions.
Is it possible in anyway to:
Trigger interaction events outside the app using custom input (like BCI via Websocket)?
Access system-wide click/tap simulation APIs from within VisionOS apps
Integrate this with accessibility services (like Voice Control or AssistiveTouch)
We'd appreciate any official guidance or tips from others building similar accessibility apps with alternative input methods in VisionOS.
Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide!

                      Since the transition to iOS 18.4, we have been having an issue where when loading an m3u8 file specified in the src attribute of a video tag in WKWebView, the ts file is loaded repeatedly.
Are there any good ideas for this?
Also, if there have been any changes to the specifications of WKWebView, we would appreciate it if you could let us know.

                      Hi everyone,
I'm developing a visionOS app for Apple Vision Pro, and I've encountered an issue related to window resizing at runtime when using AVPlayer to play a live HLS stream.
✅ What I'm Trying to Do
Play a live HLS stream (from Wowza) inside my app using AVPlayer.
Support resizing the immersive window using Vision Pro’s built-in runtime scaling gesture.
Stream works fine at default window size when the app launches.
❌ Problem
If I resize the app’s window at runtime (using the Vision Pro pinch-drag gesture), then try to start the stream, it does not play.
Instead, it just shows the "Loading live stream..." state and never proceeds to playback.
This issue only occurs after resizing the window — if I don’t resize, the stream works perfectly every time.
🧪 What I’ve Tried
Verified the HLS URL — it’s working and plays fine in Safari and in the app before resizing.
Set .automaticallyWaitsToMinimizeStalling = false on AVPlayer.
Observed that .status on AVPlayerItem never reaches .readyToPlay after resizing.
Tried to force window size back using UIWindowScene.requestGeometryUpdate(...), but behavior persists.

                      prefetching logic for UICollectionView on VisionOS does not work.
I have set up a Standalone test repo to demonstrate this issue. This repo is basically a visionOS version of Apple's guide project on implementation of prefetching logic.
in repo you will see a simple ViewController that has UICollectionView, wrapped inside UIViewControllerRepresentable.
on scroll, it should print 🕊️ prefetch start on console to demonstrate func collectionView(_ collectionView: UICollectionView, prefetchItemsAt indexPaths: [IndexPath]) is called. However it never happens on VisionOS devices.
With the same code it behaves correctly on iOS devices

                      I a using the current RC version of iOS on both my iPhone and iPad. I and developing an iCloud based app and it works correctly on iOS 18. When I upgraded to iOS 26 the iCloud functions work correctly but the push notifications do not work.
The issue appears to be creating subscriptions. The following code should create a subscription and does not get an error, but it did to create a subscription under iOS 26.
func subscribeToNotifications(recordType: String,
                              subscriptionID: String, notification: CKSubscription.NotificationInfo) {
    let subscriptionIDForType = "\(subscriptionID)-\(recordType)"
    let predicate = NSPredicate(value: true)
    let subscription = CKQuerySubscription(recordType: recordType, predicate: predicate, subscriptionID: subscriptionIDForType, options: [.firesOnRecordCreation, .firesOnRecordUpdate, .firesOnRecordDeletion])
    let notification = CKSubscription.NotificationInfo()
    subscription.notificationInfo = notification
     CKContainer.default().publicCloudDatabase.save(subscription) { (returnedSubscription, error) in
        if let error = error {
            print("Error saving subscription: \(error)")
        } else {
            print("Successfully saved subscription: recordType: " + recordType + " subscriptionID: " + subscriptionIDForType)
        }
    }
}
Print results:
Successfully saved subscription: recordType: folder subscriptionID: folderName-folder
