Hello,
I'm receiving error StoreKit: Failed to get response from platform.
I have user in SandBox, that user is logged on physical device,
I have correct bundleID.
Product is Approved
I tested via StoreKit configuration file and that worked just fine.
also tried to build app and push to test flight, this way same error.
Any recommendations what I can check ?
Thanks

Hello, I have 2 subscription group. Each group have different plans and promotional offer. I was set 1 month free promotional offer in all plans. While I subscribe any plan IAP sheet is not showing 1 month free promotional offer. I already used with new sandbox account. How can I get promotional offer in IAP sheet?
Hello,
I'm trying to understand what happens when a subscribed customer of a subscription A purchases a promotional offer for the same subscription A.
Let's say the product is a yearly subscription priced at $100. When the month 7 starts (6 months remaining in the regular subscription period), I send the user a promotional offer for the same product but priced at $25 for the first year (100$ afterwards) and he accepts the offer.
Is the promotional offer started only at the end of the current year (after the 6 remaining months) or is it started immediately and he gets a pro-rata refund for the 6 remaining months?
Thanks.

We are experiencing a critical issue where StoreKit 2 is returning empty products when using Product.products(for:), specifically on devices running iOS 18.4.
This issue does not occur on iOS 18.3 or earlier.
Steps:
Created a subscription product (e.g. "upm1") in App Store Connect
Confirmed the product is active, localised, and part of a valid subscription group
Call the following Swift code using StoreKit 2:
Task {
do {
let products = try await Product.products(for: ["upm1"])
print(products)
} catch {
print("Error: (error)")
}
}
4. Result: products is an empty list.
This regression is blocking subscription testing on iOS 18.4.
Kindly someone please advise on a potential fix or workaround.
Hello,
We are working on integrating billing into our dating app, targeted at the Russian market. Our main requirement is to support subscriptions with automatic renewal and cancellation.
We understand that, according to App Store Review Guideline, all digital subscriptions should use Apple In-App Purchase (IAP). However, we are unsure how this applies in Russia, where some local regulations may limit the use of non-Russian payment processors, and where not all Russian bank cards are accepted by Apple.
Our question is:
-For iOS apps in Russia, is it strictly required to use Apple IAP for subscriptions?
-Are there any approved exceptions allowing integration with local processors such as Robokassa or YooKassa?
-How are other developers currently handling subscriptions for the Russian market?
We want to ensure full compliance and avoid any risk of rejection or removal.
Thank you in advance for any clarification.
Best regards,
Dan
We are developing an app which has an In App Purchase for subscription, we have the application in tesflight, and the subscription is done through apple developers account in the app store, now we are trying to cancel the subscription, we just keep getting an error message in app store stating "your request is temporarily unable to be processed".
we need to cancel this subscription for us to test our application properly.
any help on this would be appreciated.

Hello,
Our auto-renewable subscription products are currently showing as “In Review” in App Store Connect. However, they are not visible in the “In-App Purchases” section of the app version submission, so we cannot confirm or re-attach them to this app version. At the same time, we cannot delete or edit these products while they are in this state.
This has left us in a situation where:
The IAPs are stuck in “In Review” status,
We cannot re-submit or re-attach them,
And your review team cannot complete testing because the subscriptions are not yet approved.
According to Apple’s own documentation, IAPs that are released with an app version only move from In Review to Approved when the app itself is approved. This means they must be reviewed together.
Could you please:
Confirm that our IAPs are correctly attached to this app version and will be reviewed together, or
Reset their status back to “Ready to Submit” so that we can re-attach them properly to this app version?
We want to make sure we are not stuck in a loop where the IAPs cannot be approved until the app is approved, but the app cannot be approved because the IAPs are stuck.
Thank you for your help in resolving this situation.
Best regards,
I'm trying to create an offer code for one of my app's subscriptions, and the button just isn't there.
https://developer.apple.com/help/app-store-connect/manage-subscriptions/set-up-offer-codes
Wondering if this is because the app was just launched today, or if there's something I'm missing.
Hello,
Our app gets rejected for the reason that the reviewer cannot purchase the subscription with the message,
"Guideline 2.1 - Performance - App Completeness
We found that your in-app purchase products exhibited one or more bugs which create a poor user experience.
Specifically, we were unable to purchase Auto-Renewable Subscriptions. The app launched back to the rendering when we tap on the "Get started""
When we test this with our sandbox accounts in test flight version, we can see the subscribe pop up showing and purchase successfully. But turns out they cannot. Unfortunately we cannot see the reason why and even after requesting further explanation regarding how to move along, we are not getting any explanations.
Our subscription products are submitted in the first time with the app and they are in "In review" state for more than a week.
We requested phone calls and wrote messages to reviewers many times but unfortunately there's no help yet.
login sandbox account at setting > app store > sandbox account.
download my app from testflight
purchase subscription is fine.
stop renew subscription.
after subscription expired, delete app, then download from testflight again.
tried to restore purchase, the result count always zero
We’ve been approved for the Advanced Commerce API and are setting up the generic product identifiers per the guide:
https://developer.apple.com/documentation/advancedcommerceapi/setting-up-your-project-for-advanced-commerce#Set-up-generic-product-identifiers
We have multiple auto-renewable subscriptions (for simplicity: Product 1, Product 2, etc.). We created a new subscription group for Advanced Commerce and are about to add the subscription(s) inside that group.
Should we create one auto-renewable subscription (generic, e.g. subscription.ac) to represent all of our subscriptions, or one generic per product family (e.g., product1.ac, product2.ac, …)? If the answer depends on whether subscribers can hold multiple products simultaneously, please advise which structure supports that (e.g., separate groups).
Reporting identifiers / segmentation: In Sales and Trends and Payments & Financial Reports, which identifier(s) will appear after migration: the legacy StoreKit product_id, the new generic product id, and/or the SKU? If we use a single generic subscription for all products, what’s Apple’s recommended way to segment revenue by product (Product 1 vs. Product 2)? If SKUs don’t surface in these reports, should we prefer multiple generics/groups to preserve report-level segmentation?

Hello Developer support, In one of our live application we have seen that users are purchasing weekly subscription and automatically they shifted to yearly product. Due to this we have received high revenue and also refunds afterwards. To prevent this we removed our yearly product from the sale. In App Store Connect we have seen activations for weekly product and convert to standard prices are yearly products. Also we have seen weird behavior of user getting trial for same product for three times. For developer support people I am sharing my app id - 1320373866 , and here is the video of our issue - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DBHw8ivgql4eNoo8NC3xo5v4wgr8Oh7x/view?usp=sharing , Also attaching trial behavior screenshot.
I submitted 2 subscriptions along with my new iOS build, reviewer rejected my build because I didn't mention the EULA terms of use link in my app's metadata (description).
Now I have added the Terms of use link in description and I have the option to resubmit the app for review, but when I scrolll down on the version page I am not able to see the in-app purchase section anymore as they are in rejected state.
When I opened the subscriptions, they showed the "developer action needed' status, I changed the localization description and saved it, now for localization it shows 'Preparing for submission', but the subscription's status still shows 'Developer action needed'.
Now, how am I supposed to reattach these subscriptions back to the same build, as the rejection reason was not the issue in my build, so, I want to resubmit the same build with same subscriptions.
Help me out.
Hi,
We have a app with some auto-renewing subscription in a group of subscriptions.
When a user upgrade from a subscription to another, the "user receive a refund of the prorated amount of their original subscription" (https://developer.apple.com/app-store/subscriptions/).
How is the prorated calculated ?
Example : subscription to 14,99$ / month. If subscriber upgrade after 10 days, is the refund calculated 10/30 of 14,99$ (so ~5$) ?
Hi everyone,
I’ve been receiving App Store Server Notifications (webhooks) normally for a specific transaction. Everything was working fine — I could use the original_transaction_id to query transaction history, and transaction_id to look up specific transactions.
However, starting recently, all API calls for that transaction (both Get Transaction Info and Get Transaction History) now return not found.
• The webhooks used to arrive normally for this transaction.
• I am sure I’m querying the correct environment (production vs sandbox).
• The IDs I’m using are exactly the ones from the last webhook payload.
• I haven’t changed my integration code.
My questions:
1. Under what conditions does Apple’s API return “not found” for original_transaction_id that previously worked?
2. Can Apple actually purge transaction records (in production)?
3. Could this happen due to refunds, revocations, or other account actions?
4. Is this expected behavior, or should I file a DTS (Technical Support Incident)?
Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Unsure if this has been reported before, but I'm seeing a specific scenario where Apple is sending back faulty information in App Store Server Notifications.
When users have payment failures that result in the membership expiring, and then reactivate later on with a different subscription, they are given a new originalTransactionId, yet we have three cases where we receive messages about the old originalTransactionId, indicating that after the user recovers their subscription, Apple is resurrecting the old subscription and treating it as if it is active BUT ultimately decides to deactivate it.
Here is a sample screenshot of an impacted user. We only have three month and annual plans.
Timeline:
March 21st:
This user signed up for a 3 Month Plan
June 21st:
This user fails to pay
July 7th:
After our 16 day grace period, this user loses access
July 29th:
This user sees they lost access and repurchase
Augsut 19th:
Their membership is deactivated (long before their 3 Month Subscription is up)
For further verification I've also attached a record of all the payloads we've received from Apple for this user.
Please let me know if you need any more details to fix this bug OR if it has already been fixed! Thank you.

What is the expected behavior for App Receipts and ASSN v2 notifications when a subscription is set to "Remove from Sale"?
I tried to test this in Sandbox, but the "Remove from Sale" setting in App Store Connect doesn't seem to affect the Sandbox environment.
For existing subscribers, what happens in the receipt? Does auto_renew_status change to 0 and is expiration_intent populated immediately?
Also, which notificationType is sent via ASSN v2?

Hello,
I am setting up an auto-renewable subscription for my iOS app in App Store Connect.
I would like to set the monthly subscription price to ¥710 (Japanese yen).
From what I understand, Apple requires us to use predefined price tiers for in-app purchases and subscriptions. However, I’m not sure whether subscriptions allow more flexibility than one-time in-app purchases.
👉 My questions are:
Is it possible to set an arbitrary subscription price such as ¥710, or must I pick the closest price tier from Apple’s official subscription price list?
If arbitrary prices are not allowed, is there an official list of available subscription price points for Japan that I can refer to?
Can we set subscription prices in multiples of 10 yen (e.g., ¥700, ¥710, ¥720), or are we strictly limited to the price points Apple provides?
Thank you in advance for your help!

I’m implementing subscriptions and running tests, and I noticed a behavior I’d like to confirm.
Plans in the app
Basic — Monthly
Basic — Annual
Premium — Monthly
Premium — Annual
Test environment
Sandbox (where ~1 day ≈ under 1 minute of real time)
steps
Start Basic (Monthly) using an introductory offer (free trial).
Create a crossgrade to Basic (Annual) (scheduled/queued).
3.After receiving a RENEWAL App Store Server Notification indicating the plan will move from trial to paid Basic (Annual), but before the trial actually expires, upgrade the user to Premium (Monthly).
Observed behavior (Sandbox) & questions
Even though there is still up to ~1 day of trial remaining (≈ under 1 minute in Sandbox), upgrading to Premium (Monthly) immediately ends the trial and activates the paid Premium plan right away.
Will this same behavior occur in Production?
If yes, is this the expected/acceptable behavior when upgrading during an active trial after a pending crossgrade?
Note: If we upgrade to Premium before the RENEWAL notification arrives, the remaining trial time is carried over in our tests.
In this flow, we see a RENEWAL notification for Basic (Annual) (moving from trial → paid), but then the user immediately upgrades to Premium (Monthly) and the trial ends at that moment.
In Production, would the charge for Basic (Annual) be refunded automatically since the user effectively switches to Premium immediately (and Basic Annual does not remain active)?
In Sandbox there’s no real charge, but I want to ensure we won’t see a situation in Production where Basic (Annual) is billed and not refunded, even though the subscription effectively moved to Premium right away.
Thanks in advance!
Dear Apple Support Team,
We are experiencing an issue with the Offer Code Redemption Sheet in our iOS app. Despite following Apple’s recommended approaches, the redemption sheet does not close automatically after a user successfully redeems a code.
We have implemented both methods as suggested in the documentation:
StoreKit 2 (iOS 16+):
AppStore.presentOfferCodeRedeemSheet(in: scene)
StoreKit 1 (iOS 14–15):
SKPaymentQueue.default().presentCodeRedemptionSheet()
Expected behavior: The sheet should automatically close after a successful code redemption and provide a receipt for verification.
Observed behavior: The sheet remains open even after a code is successfully redeemed, and we do not receive a receipt to validate the redemption.
We would greatly appreciate guidance or any workaround to ensure that:
The redemption sheet closes automatically after redemption.
A valid receipt is delivered for verification.
For your reference, we are testing on:
iOS versions: 16+, 15+
Device models: iPhone 16 and others
Please let us know if additional information, logs, or screen recordings are needed to investigate this issue.
