I'm looking for advice or anyone who's experienced similar delays with nonprofit developer account enrollments.
Timeline:
In mid-September, we had some initial email validation issues during our nonprofit organization enrollment. Senior Advisor Kevin (case 102691832489) resolved those issues and cleared us to continue enrollment on September 16-17.
We continued immediately on September 17th, and our status changed to "Your enrollment is being processed" with enrollment ID UH4UT85YS3.
It's now been 28 days with no status changes, no requests for additional information, and no timeline.
Follow-up attempts:
I've called support three times (Sept 19, 26, and Oct 7). Each time I was told the application is "with a separate department they can't contact." They created additional cases but couldn't provide any updates or access to the reviewing team.
Questions for the community:
Is 28 days normal for nonprofit enrollment processing after continuing? Has anyone found a way to get status updates when regular support can't access the reviewing team? Is there a specific escalation path for nonprofit accounts that differs from standard enrollments?
We're a 501(c)(3) church launching an app for a capital campaign, so the delay is starting to impact our timeline. Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Details:
Enrollment ID: UH4UT85YS3
Organization Type: Nonprofit 501(c)(3)
Continued enrollment: Sept 17, 2025
Current status: "Your enrollment is being processed"
Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Hi,
Since Xcode 26.2 beta 1, till now (I thought RC or actual release will solve this issue) I have problems exporting archive to appstore via Xcode Cloud (locally everything works and using Xcode 26.2 I was able to submit app to AppStore).
Build is archived successfully but during export I get an error Exporting for App Store Distribution failed. Please download the logs artifact for more information.
In xcodebuild-export-archive.log I see multiple attempts & errors like this

When I use Xcode 26.1.1 to export the same commit, eveything works and workflow sends build to AppStoreConnect, any ideas what might cause this issue? Unfortunately I need to use Xcode 26.2 if I want to use tabViewBottomAccessory(isEnabled:content:) bcs even though this api is available since iOS 26.1, it's not available in Xcode 26.1

My app is correctly signed and notarised. The first user had to completely uninstall/reinstall the app and the everything worked again.
Why does this happen? How can the problem be fixed?
During internal testing, we observed the following behavior and would appreciate clarification on whether it is expected and supported in production environments.
When generating an elliptic-curve cryptographic key pair using "kSecAttrTokenIDSecureEnclave", and explicitly specifying a "kSecAttrAccessGroup", we found that cryptographic operations (specifically encryption and decryption) could be successfully performed using this key pair from two distinct applications. Both applications had the Keychain Sharing capability enabled and were signed with the same provisioning profile identity.
Given the documented security properties of Secure Enclave, backed keys, namely that private key material is protected by hardware and access is strictly constrained by design, we would like to confirm whether the ability for multiple applications (sharing the same keychain access group and signing identity) to perform cryptographic operations with the same Secure Enclave–backed key is expected behavior on iOS.
Specifically, we are seeking confirmation on:
Whether this behavior is intentional and supported in production.
Whether the Secure Enclave enforces access control primarily at the application-identifier (App ID) level rather than the individual app bundle level in this scenario.
Whether there are any documented limitations or guarantees regarding cross-application usage of Secure Enclave keys when keychain sharing is configured.
Any guidance or references to official documentation clarifying this behavior would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
Our Xcode Cloud builds are successfully archiving but fail every time during the "Export archive for app-store distribution" step. The issue appears to be a persistent authentication failure with App Store Connect that we are unable to resolve.
Primary Error:
The build logs show a critical authentication failure.
IDEDistribution.critical.log shows: App Store Connect request for store configuration failed for account Session Proxy Provider... Unable to authenticate with App Store Connect.
DVTITunesSoftwareService.log specifies the error is DVTITunesSoftwareServiceFoundation.DVTServicesSessionProviderCredentialITunesAuthenticationContextError.proxy.
The build process eventually terminates during the IDEDistributionSymbolsStep with an Rsync failed error, which we believe is a symptom of the earlier authentication failure.
Troubleshooting Already Performed:
We have already taken the following steps without success:
Verified the account used for the integration has "Account Holder" and "Admin" roles.
Confirmed that Xcode Cloud's automatic signing is working correctly and is able to create new provisioning profiles.
Thoroughly checked the App Store Connect web UI under Users and Access > Integrations > Xcode Cloud for a way to reset the connection, but no such option exists.
Removed and re-added the Apple ID in the Xcode application's settings (Xcode > Settings > Accounts) on a local Mac.
Our hypothesis is that the integrated authentication session between Xcode Cloud and App Store Connect is invalid or stale, and there is no user-facing way to reset it.
Has anyone else encountered this "Session Proxy Provider" authentication error with Xcode Cloud? Is there a known solution or a different method to force a re-authentication of the service connection?
Any guidance from Apple engineers or other developers would be greatly appreciated.

Hello
I'm using this sdk DeclaredAgeRange to get the user age range
When I'm doing in debug mode using sandbox account it is working as expected and I can get the user age range
But when I tried in TestFlight build using sandbox account it is not working and it is always return the age range 18+ and also isEligibleForAgeFeatures API is always returning false
Any advise on this?
Hello,
This is my first post in the forums, and I'm still learning my way with iOS Development and Swift. My apologies if the formatting is not correct, or If I'm making any mistakes.
I'm currently trying to implement an iOS App where the device needs to share the location with my server via an API call.
The use case is as follows: the server expects location updates to determine if a device is inside/outside a geofence. If the device is stationary, no locations need to be sent. If the device begins moving, regardless of whether the app is in foreground, background, or terminated, the app should resume posting locations to the server.
I've decided to use the CLLocationUpdate.liveUpdates() stream, together with CLBackgroundActivitySession().
However, I have not been able to achieve the behavior successfully. My app either maintains the blue CLActivitySession indicator active, regardless of whether the phone is stationary or not, or kills the Indicator (and the background capability) and does not restore it when moving again. Below I've attached my latest code snippet (the indicator disappears and does not come back).
// This method is called in the didFinishLaunchingWithOptions
func startLocationUpdates(precise: Bool) {
// Show the location permission pop up
requestAuthorization()
// Stop any previous sessions
stopLocationUpdates()
Task {
do {
// If we have the right authorization, we will launch the updates in the background
// using CLBackgroundActivitySession
if self.manager.authorizationStatus == .authorizedAlways {
self.backgroundActivity = true
} else {
self.backgroundActivity = false
self.backgroundSession?.invalidate()
}
// We will start collecting live location updates
for try await update in CLLocationUpdate.liveUpdates() {
// Handle deprecation
let stationary = if #available(iOS 18.0, *) {
update.stationary
} else {
update.isStationary
}
// If the update is identified as stationary, we will skip this update
// and turn off background location updates
if stationary {
self.backgroundSession?.invalidate()
continue
}
// if background activity is enabled, we restore the Background Activity Session
if backgroundActivity == true { self.backgroundSession = CLBackgroundActivitySession() }
guard let location = update.location else { continue }
// Do POST with location to server
}
} catch {
print("Could not start location updates")
}
}
}
I'm not sure why the code does not work as expected, and I believe I may be misunderstanding how the libraries Work. My understanding is that the liveUpdates stream is capable of emitting values, even if the app has gone to the background/terminated, thus why I'm trying to stop/resume the Background Activity using the "stationary" or "isStationary" attribute coming from the update.
Is the behavior I'm trying to achieve possible? If so, I'm I using the right libraries for it? Is my implementation correct? And If not, what would be the recommended approach?

In an AppleScript applet, compiling and exporting in Script Editor replaces a custom icon with the default. To retain a custom icon, it is necessary, after exporting, to use Finder's "Get info..." to copy the icon from another file and paste into the icon for the applet. The custom icon is stored in the "Icon?" file, located in the root of the applet bundle. The applet can then be signed and notarized.
With macOS Tahoe, that procedure no longer works. That is because the notarization process now wipes the "Icon?" file. The file remains in place but has zero size. Thus Finder shows the default applet icon.
Does anyone know of a way to provide a custom icon for a signed and notarized AppleScript applet ?
I’m currently developing an application using WKWebView.
After updating to iOS 26.2 Developer Beta, the following Web API started returning false:
isUserVerifyingPlatformAuthenticatorAvailable
MDN: https://developer.mozilla.org/ja/docs/Web/API/PublicKeyCredential/isUserVerifyingPlatformAuthenticatorAvailable_static
This issue did not occur on iOS 26.1 — it only happens on the beta version.
Has anyone else encountered this problem or is aware of any related changes?
OS: iOS 26.2 beta 3 (23C5044b)
Greetings! I was trying to get a response from the LanguageModelSession but I just keep getting the following:
Error getting response: Model Catalog error: Error Domain=com.apple.UnifiedAssetFramework Code=5000 "There are no underlying assets (neither atomic instance nor asset roots) for consistency token for asset set com.apple.MobileAsset.UAF.FM.Overrides" UserInfo={NSLocalizedFailureReason=There are no underlying assets (neither atomic instance nor asset roots) for consistency token for asset set com.apple.MobileAsset.UAF.FM.Overrides}
This occurs both in macOS 15.5 running the new Xcode beta with an iOS 26 simulator, and also on a macOS 26 with Xcode beta. The simulators are both Pro iPhone 16s.
I was wondering if anyone had any advice?
Hello,
I'm trying to upload an asset pack that has the same identifier as an asset pack that I've archived.
I understand this isn't likely a common scenario, but I'd expect that uploading an archived Asset Pack to become un-archived. Reverting to the next newest version available for the Asset Pack.
Further, this restriction is not clear that you won't be able to reuse the assetPackID on the archive asset pack alert
Archive Asset Pack?
Are you sure you want to archive "[NAME]" asset pack? All versions of this asset will no longer be accessible by your app.

I'm pleased to share some significant updates that have recently been released for our Hypervisor and Virtualization frameworks. We've focused on enhancing efficiency, expanding capabilities, and addressing common developer needs. I believe these will be valuable for many of you.
Here’s a look at what’s new:
Hypervisor Updates
We've introduced support for configuring the intermediate physical address (IPA) memory granularity of a VM. This allows for more granular memory mappings, enabling granularity sizes down to 4KB. This is particularly useful for certain specialized device drivers requiring finer memory control.
Virtualization Framework Updates
More Efficient VM Image Storage with ASIF: We've integrated support for the Apple Sparse Image Format (ASIF). This results in a smaller disk footprint and optimized transfer for VM disk images when using VZDiskImageStorageDeviceAttachment, improving storage efficiency.
Custom Network Topologies with vmnet: We've added support for vmnet custom network topologies. This enables more flexible VM-to-VM communication based on logical networks with customized configurations, useful for complex testing or development environments. See VZVmnetNetworkDeviceAttachment to get started.
Simplified VM Queue Discovery: It's now easier to discover a VM’s on-process thanks to a new property on VZVirtualMachine. This should aid in development and debugging when interacting directly with the VM's queue.
These are some of the key highlights of the first beta, and I'm looking forward to seeing how these improvements will be utilized. I encourage you to explore the documentation for full details on these features.
I recently added pushWindow to my app, and I discovered that in visionOS 26.2 RC (23N301), pushWindow followed by dismissWindow no longer works as expected.
Specifically, if the user moves the pushed window, then when the pushed window is later dismissed, the parent window's position isn't aligned with the pushed window's new position. Its original position is restored instead.
Curiously, the bug only happens when an app is launched from the visionOS home view, and not when an app is launched from Xcode. It also doesn't happen in the visionOS 26.2 simulator.
Another interesting detail is that while the parent window is hidden, if the user long-presses the Digital Crown and then dismisses the pushed window, the parent window's position seems to be immune from the Digital Crown scene reorientation. It's restored to its original real world position.
Demo video: https://youtu.be/zR3t2ON3Wz0
I've submitted feedback as FB21287011 with a sample app and detailed repro steps.
Has anyone else encountered this issue already and figured out a workaround? It would be nice if I could get pushWindow to work correctly in my app.
Thanks everybody! 😀
When installing a new version the app while a tunnel is connected, seemingly the old packet tunnel process gets stopped but the new one does not come back up. Reportedly, a path monitor is reporting that the device has no connectivity. Is this the expected behavior?
When installing an update from TestFlight or the App store, the packet tunnel instance from the old tunnel is stopped, but, due to the profile being on-demand and incldueAllNetworks, the path monitoring believes the device has no connectivity - so the new app is never downloaded. Is this the expected behavior?
During development, the old packet tunnel gets stopped, the new app is installed, but the new packet tunnel is never started. To start it, the user has to toggle the VPN twice from the Settings app. The tunnel could be started from the VPN app too, if we chose to not take the path monitor into account, but then the user still needs to attempt to start the tunnel twice - it only works on the second try. As far as we can tell, the first time around, the packet tunnel never gets started, the app receives an update about NEVPNStatus being set to disconnecting yet NEVPNConnection does not throw.
The behavior I was naively expecting was that the packet tunnel process would be stopped only when the new app is fully downloaded and when the update is installed, Are we doing something horribly wrong here?
I'm trying to download an iOS Simulator runtime in Xcode 26.2 or 26.1 on macOS 26.1, but the download keeps failing with the following error:

What I've tried so far:
Formatted my Mac and reinstalled Xcode multiple times.
Completely deleted Xcode and its related files several times (/Applications/Xcode.app, caches, preferences).
Tried different internet connections from multiple locations.
Checked Apple servers and verified network.
Attempted downloading other simulator runtimes (fail).
but download fails immediately with DVTDownloadableErrorDomain Code 41 and bad URL error.
Question:
How can I fix the simulator download issue in Xcode 26.2 on macOS 26.1? Is there a known workaround for the bad URL / catalog download error?
Hello All,

revenuecat is asking for the in app subscriptions to be approved first in order for the pay wall to display and function properly, but apple support keeps flagging them as "developer action needed" and complaining that they can't access in app subscriptions. what do I do?

Apple sent a final reminder asking developers to complete the updated age rating questions in App Store Connect.
Final reminder: Answer the updated age ratings questions.
We’re reaching out because you have not provided responses to the updated age ratings questions in the App Information section of your app in App Store Connect. If you don’t answer these questions by January 31, 2026, you won’t be able to submit app updates in App Store Connect.
The email says that if the age rating questions are not answered by 31 January 2026, you will not be able to submit app updates.
What is not clear is what actually happens after that date.
Many of us are in the middle of development and may not be ready to submit a new build before the deadline. The email does not explain whether this means:
A) You can still submit updates after 31 January 2026, as long as you complete the age rating questionnaire before submitting, or
B) The app becomes locked and cannot be updated at all once the deadline passes
This is not stated explicitly in the email, which makes it confusing for me.
It would be helpful if Apple could clearly confirm what developers should expect after 31 January 2026, especially for apps that are still undergoing active development.
Anyone knows?

Hi,
We applied for Tap to Pay on iPhone entitlement and were approved, but on distribution support it's only showing Development.
We can build and debug Tap to Pay on development, but unable to build release.
We opened ticket with Apple support but they were saying it was configured correctly. I attached screenshot of our developer account entitlement for Tap to Pay. It clearly said Development only.
