I have recently been having trouble with my iOS 18.2 beta update. It has been 2 weeks since I have updated to iOS 18.2 beta and joined the Genmoji and image playground waitlist. I am wondering how much longer I have to wait till my request is approved.

I'm developing an ACME server to issue identity certificates to macOS/iOS devices for MDM attestation, following RFC 8555. Per RFC, the client creates an order, performs authorization, verifies the challenge, and finalizes the order by submitting a CSR to the CA.
In my setup, the CA sometimes takes longer to issue the certificate (around 50 seconds). According to RFC 8555, if certificate issuance isn’t complete after the /finalize call, the server should respond with an "order" object with a "processing" status. The client should then send a POST-as-GET request to the order resource (e.g., /order/<order_id>) to check the current state. If the CA still hasn’t issued the certificate, the server should return the order object with the same "processing" status and include a "Retry-After" header, indicating when the client should retry. The client is expected to poll the order resource at this specified interval with POST-as-GET requests.
However, it seems the Apple ACME client ignores the "Retry-After" header and instead returns the error: "Profile failed - Order status is processing, not yet valid" immediately upon the first poll response with "processing."
Apple ACME client deviating from the RFC documentation.
Has anyone found a reliable solution to this issue?
Ref -https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc8555#:~:text=A%20request%20to%20finalize%20an%20order%20will%20result%20in%20error,to%20the%20%22certificate%22%20field%20of%20the%20order.%20%20Download%20the%0A%20%20%20%20%20%20certificate.
To work around this, I’m holding the /finalize call until the CA issues the certificate. This works when issuance is quick (under 20 seconds), but if it takes more than that , the client times out. Interestingly, the Apple ACME client’s timeout appears shorter than the usual 60-second URLSession default.
I'm using Xcode 16 and SwiftUI targeting iOS 18. I'm new to Core Data, and when I create a new project and select to use Core Data as storage, I get boilerplate code for it.
The problem is that when I try to see the preview without any change to the code, I get a Fatal Error:

When I try to open the SQLite database there are no entities in it.
I have also tried xcrun simctl --set previews delete all, but with no luck.
Hey Community,
i am not able to reinstall or remove the iOS 18.1 runtime. Instead it shows me a status unavailable. What can i do to reinstall or remove the runtime?
In the Xcode Settings it says status anavailable. Even if i deleted the runtime manually.

I am able to open software update section of settings app from my custom app. But when settings app is already opened with other section other than software update. Settings app opens with previous section & not opens with software update section. Issue is in iOS 16.4.1
Below is my code:
if let url = URL(string: "App-prefs:root=Settings&path=General/SOFTWARE_UPDATE_LINK") {
UIApplication.shared.open(url)
}
I also have did some modification in info section of project & below is screen shot attached.
I got sent a crash log from a user of my app. I followed the procedure that Apple specifies to symbolicate the crashlog, but that does not succeed (see https://developer.apple.com/documentation/xcode/adding-identifiable-symbol-names-to-a-crash-report#Symbolicate-the-crash-report-in-Xcode)
XCode complains that
"error: unable to locate main executable (arm64)"
The location of the main executable is given in the crashlog at a path that starts with /private/var/containers/Bundle/Application/ But the /private/var/containers directory on my system is empty.
I have tried to search my filesystem for the specific image that is mentioned in the crashlog, but it is nowhere to be found.
Because the image is not available, I cannot symbolicate the crashlog from the commandline using atos either.
The crashlog is from an iPhone running iOS 18.0.1, if that makes a difference.
Anybody knows how to resolve this?
Eu tinha um 15 pro e usava o iOS 18.1 beta e o clean up funcIonava normalmente.
Troquei Para um 15 pro max e parou de funcionar. Instalei o 18.2 beta pra ver se funcionava E também não funcionou.
consigo remover o 18.2 beta do meu aparelho?
Issue
When triggering an App Intent using assistant schemas from Apple Intelligence (voice or text) the App opens without prompting for search criteria.
How to repeat
This can be repeated in the example provided by Apple here: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appintents/making-your-app-s-functionality-available-to-siri
Download the sample code
Build and run on Xcode 16.1 beta 3
Target iPhone 15 Pro Max on iOS 18.1 beta 7
Trigger Apple Intelligence
Enter prompt: "Search AssistantSchemasExample"
Expected behaviour
Apple Intelligence should prompt the user for the criteria and provide this to the App so that the experience is seamless for the end-user. Otherwise Assistant Intents are nothing more than deep links to search screens.
Notes
The example uses @AssistantIntent(schema: .photos.search) intent.
And I've found the issue is also present in other search intents:
@AssistantIntent(schema: .system.search)
@AssistantIntent(schema: .browser.search)
Questions
Has anyone managed to get the prompt to appear?
Will this only function on iOS 18.2?
I’m seeing an error message when trying to upload/validate my Archive. “Provisioning Profile failed qualification. ”
Profile Doesn’t match the entitlement’s file’s value for com.app.developer.networking.entitlement.
My app uses Local Push Connectivity (NEAppPushProvider) and requires the App Push Provider entitlement. My profiles are set to include the Local Push Connectivity entitlement instead of Default. I don’t (cant’t?) automatically manage signing because of this. My provisioning profiles are set to use the Local Push Connectivity entitlement instead of default.
My entitlement files for each target have
com.apple.developer.networking.networkextension
app-push-provider
This is my first upload since upgrading Xcode to 15. And My first upload since I updated my profiles. This was working for years, but I think either I rebuilt my profile wrong or something has changed on Apple’s end ( Xcode, reqs etc). I’ve double/triple checked everything and rebuilt my profiles over. I’m stuck.

Hi everyone,
usually i used to work on my xamarin application from a windows OS using Visual Studio application.
When testing IOS apps i used to connect to macbook that my boss has to my windows pc.
Nowdays i have a big problem while i try to publish an app. I select Release configuration, rebuild the project and in this case it asks me to login in with my Apple developer account but i always get an errore:
'There is an error while trying to access the auth service is not available'
Does anyone know a different way to publish an IOS app? I really do not know what to do.
This is my first time trying to publish an IOS app..

Hello!
My app is crashing on iOS 12. On other versions (i.e. 15, 17), we could not reproduce it. The problem occurs every once in a while. It simply crashes after a few seconds using the App.
I got a crash report and will include in the post.
Looks like Language exception crash , but i could not narrow it down to the cause of the problem.
The crash happens under the "suggestd" name. Appreciate if someone can help.

We have a USB dongle that would like to connect to the iPhone for power (using USB-C). Since it is not MFi, we will then use bluetooth for communication between the dongle and an app.
When doing bluetooth pairing between the dongle and iPhone, it would be ideal to only see the dongle that is plugged into the iPhone listed in the app. This is to avoid connecting to other dongles that may be in the area.
We think this could be possible using USB descriptors. We assume the iPhone can read the USB descriptors for non-MFi dongles.
Our question is, can our app see the USB-descriptors of the dongle? Is iOS able to pass that info to the app?
Then, we could have a unique USB descriptor for each dongle and the app could only list bluetooth devices with that descriptor (effectively filtering out any other dongles in the area).
Any help and/or feedback is greatly appreciated :)
I'm looking to develop an iOS application that functions as a remote for Apple TV, including discovering Apple TV devices over Wi-Fi. If anyone has experience building similar applications, could you share insights on available frameworks or protocols to discover Apple TVs? Additionally, if there are reference apps on the App Store that work like Apple's default remote app, I would greatly appreciate recommendations.
Any guidance from developers who have worked on similar projects would be very helpful!
I've requested the authentication in my main app.
PHPhotoLibrary.requestAuthorization(for: .readWrite) { status in }
Add the privacy description in both the main app and the extension.
But No matter the device is locked or unlocked. When I call
let fetchResult = PHAsset.fetchAssets(with: .image, options: nil)
let count = fetchResult.count
the count is always zero, even after a new photo is saved to the album in the same session.

SDK has some compile errors, when it can be fixed? We want to develop iOS 18 new features in our application.

With the latest release of Xcode, my obj c++ project is now giving compile errors like this.
No code has changed. Reverting to Xcode 15.2 solves this
My code as long as you use the AVPictureInPictureController, open the PIP model, and then back to the desktop, my widget will refresh is invalid, I closed the PIP code mode, functions are normal refresh.
I don't know what the reason is, is the system made a refresh limit?
I am working on creating a file viewer to browse a network directory as a way to introduce myself to iOS app development, and was trying to implement a feature that would allow users to drag and drop both files and folders onto another folder inside of the app to move items around. However, it seems that if the View that is set to draggable, and then the view that is set as the Drop Destination is in the same List, then the Drop Destination will not detect when the draggable view has been dropped onto it. Here is the structure of my code:
List {
Section(header: Text("Folders")) {
ForEach($folders, id: \.id) { $folder in
FolderCardView()
.onDrop(of: [UTType.item], isTargeted: $fileDropTargeted, perform: { (folders, cgPoint) -> Bool in
print("Dropped")
return true
})
}
}
Section(header: Text("Files")) {
ForEach($files, id: \.id) { $file in
FileCardView()
.onDrag({
let folderProvider = NSItemProvider(object: file)
return folderProvider
})
}
}
}
I have verified that the issue comes down to the list, because if I move both of the ForEach loops out on their own, or even into their own respective lists, the code works perfectly. I have not only tested this with the older .onDrop and .onDrag modifiers as shown above, but also the newer .draggable and .dropDestination modifiers, and the result is the same.
Does anyone know if this is intended behavior? I really like the default styling that the List element applies to other elements within, so I am hoping that it might just be a bug or an oversight. Thanks!
