Hello, I'm working on a iOS project, and I added a setup precedure to save and load configuration files during the app's initialization process. However, I can't find my files in my iPhone test while it's Ok on my Mac. How can I retrieve them?
Thanks

Since 17.4 Dev Beta 2, I have been having Bluetooth issues.
I had hoped it would have cleared up but even in 17.4.1 it continues.
Airpod and Echo Auto are the only 2 audio devices I have.
The audio will become chopping, rubber band or sound robotic and sometime completely disconnect.
While driving it will occur on both audio devices.
Sometimes I'm stopped at red light and the issue occurs.
The phone is less than 3 feet from the device at all times.
I have read forums and removed and readded the devices but that did not help.
I really do not want to have to reset my phone since my 2FA apps do not recover in a restore.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Hello there!
I have developed a website (https://finnia.ch). Now I have transformed it to an app (with webview).
If anyone would like to check it out and test it here is the link: https://testflight.apple.com/join/hmyDw74t
It is a administration tool (not a game).

I'm pretty excited for the all new iOS 26 redesign, but what I'm most excited for is the call screening feature to avoid unwanted calls.
I downloaded the developer's beta on my secondary device to report bugs, but call screening doesn't work on it even though it's turned on. I already sent a feedback report, but I'm not sure if it's just a beta bug or that my iPhone won't support it. I haven't found much info about it.
It's a 2nd gen SE.
Thanks.
It’s very annoying but on my iPhone 12 Pro I keep getting the accessibility app with the microphone on and it keeps opening the app by itself and it’s a blank screen and every time I close it it just reopens. I don’t know why it keeps doing this, but it drives me crazy. Does anyone know what else to do? I also have the beta iOS 26 but it’s been doing this even with the past update.
Hi! Just downloaded the IOS 26 beta software to my Iphone 15 128gb and during the second phase of installation of the update (when the phone start rebooting a few time) my iphone showed the display of low battery with the time displayed on the top left corner of the screen, even though my Iphone was pluged in during the full time of the install and had more than 50% of battery before launching the installation.
So far-here is what i know:
I wouldn't be able to confirm if the install was successfull or not
i tried forced reboot a few time but i keep landing on the low battery page
some other people are experiencing the same problem as i am as i could confirm on the reddit dedicated to the IOS26beta page
been testing out ios 26 since it came out and now all of a sudden everytime it boots only into recovery and wont do anything else. recovery says no known issues found.
I'm working on a ble connected device that use ancs and system clock to receive alarm notification events for earing impaired people. It used to work until iPhone 13 with latest iOS 18.x. Starting with iPhone 14 onward (iOS 18.x), system clock alarm notification is not sent anymore.
Is There any reason for this to happening?.
Is anyone aware of this behaviour?
Any suggestion would be really appreciated.
Cheers
I set iOS 26 to install overnight, put my iPhone 16 Pro on the MagSafe charger, watched it charge just fine, and went to sleep. When I woke up the iPhone showed the “plug into power” dead battery screen. I took it off MagSafe and put it back on. A half hour later the phone was warm but still wouldn’t power on, just showed the battery screen with a little red in it. I took it off MagSafe and plugged it into my iPad charging brick with USB cable to give it more power, still it did not turn on. I tried holding all the buttons to try to force a restart but didn’t work.
For anyone else encountering this, do this to enter DFU mode and restore it. I had to do it a few times before I got the timing right.
Plug into your Mac and open Finder (or apparently a PC with Apple Devices or iTunes)
Press and quickly release volume up
Press and quickly release volume down
Press and hold right side button
When the battery disappears and screen goes black, hold volume down and continue holding side button
After a couple seconds release the side button and continue holding volume down
A prompt to allow connecting to the iPhone should appear after a couple seconds, click Allow, and it’ll say the iPhone entered DFU mode - proceed to restore the firmware
I have an iPhone 14 Pro. I downloaded the iOS 26 beta and had a SERIOUS error, rendering the phone unusable.
I charged it to 60% and kept it plugged in while updating.
While updating, I restarted several times at the Apple logo, then at the Welcome screen, and it had quite a few bugs with low battery warnings.
When I turned it on, I noticed I had 1% (I thought it was strange).
When it was plugged in, it wouldn't charge; it only had 1% left, and it also restarted every 2 minutes. Off-plugged, it did exactly the same thing.
In the end, I had to go back to iOS 18.5; I had no problems with this version.
I have an older Macbook, and it only supports Xcode 15.2, and I want to be able to work with my iPhone SE 3rd gen, which currently has the iOS 26 beta on it. Is there a place I can find the download for that, and can I even run it on that version of Xcode? If not, can I download a newer version of Xcode on MacOS Ventura?
(iOS 17.3)
I'm using the Apple supplied iOS sample project "ConfiguringAWiFiAccessoryToJoinTheUsersNetwork" as a base to write an App to configure an existing WiFi device using the NEHotspotConfiguration API's. I have almost everything working, and can join the network and send a packet to the device to configure it. I know that it is working as the device responds properly to what I send it. But I am not able to receive the response back from the device to the packet sent. (Only need 1 packet sent and 1 packet received)
However. If I run a packet sniffer on the phone before running my test App, then I do get a response. No packet sniffer running, no response.
When I do a debugDescription on the NWConnection after it reaches ".ready", I notice that when the sniffer is running I'm using loopback lo0:
[C1 connected 192.168.4.1:80 tcp, url: http://192.168.4.1:80, attribution: developer, path satisfied (Path is satisfied), viable, interface: lo0]
and I get a packet response in the NWConnection receiveMessage callback.
But with no sniffer running, I get interface en0:
[C1 connected 192.168.4.1:80 tcp, url: http://192.168.4.1:80, attribution: developer, path satisfied (Path is satisfied), viable, interface: en0[802.11], ipv4, dns, uses wifi]
and there is no callback to the receiveMessage handler and the NWconnection eventually times out.
The interface used seems to be the only difference that I can see when I have a sniffer running. Any ideas as to why I can't see a response in "normal" operation?
Hello everyone,
I’d like to propose Sense & Store — a seamless integration between Safari and the App Store, powered by on-device AI, designed to understand what users are reading, searching, or selecting in Safari, and suggest relevant apps that match their current context or intention.
🔍 Key Idea:
“Sense” the user’s need through intelligent analysis of web content, then “Store” — offer the most relevant app, either already installed or available in the App Store.
🌟 Core Features:
• AI-powered context detection directly inside Safari
• Real-time app suggestions based on user intent
• Smart overlays when selecting text or data (e.g., phone numbers, emails, tools)
• Privacy-first: All AI runs on-device (Apple Neural Engine)
• Instant App Launch or Installation via StoreKit
✅ Examples:
• Reading an article on productivity? → Suggests Notion or Things.
• Looking up meditation tips? → Recommends Calm or Headspace.
• Selecting a phone number? → Offers CRM or spam blocker apps.
• Exploring code samples? → Suggests Pythonista or developer tools.
🔒 Privacy & Performance:
• 100% on-device intelligence (no data sent to servers)
• Follows Apple’s privacy framework
• Works with SafariKit + StoreKit + CoreML
⸻
I’m happy to provide a full prototype roadmap and technical architecture. Feedback and collaboration are welcome!
Would love to hear your thoughts — especially from developers who build for Safari, App Clips, or work with CoreML.
Thanks!

I’d like to create a button on my iPhone Home Screen that changes settings if I am using an external lens mounted to my phone.
This is what I have along with notes on what I hope to do. But it does not work. I am only able to open either the camera settings or the camera preserve settings but nothing will toggle macro controls.
There is an additional step within the camera app as well but it can be skipped for brevity.
Name: Telephoto and macro lenses
Check if macro settings are already enabled or not. (Settings > Camera > Macro Control toggle) as well as (Settings > Camera > Preserve Settings > Macro Control toggle)
Non-working shortcut code:
Verification question: "Are you using an external lens?"
If yes,
Notification: "Turning on Macro Control and preserve settings for macro control." (Run below immediately)
prefs:root=CAMERA&path=Turn%20On%20Macro_Control
And
prefs:root=CAMERA&path=CameraPreserveSettingsSwitch&path=Turn%20On%20Macro_Control
If no,
Notification: "Turning off Macro Control and Preserve Settings for macro control." (Run below immediately)
prefs:root=CAMERA&path=Turn%20Off%20Macro_Control
And
prefs:root=CAMERA&path=CameraPreserveSettingsSwitch&path=Turn%20Off%20Macro_Control
Hi, can someone explain me why there is so huge difference between download and install size? I get it that download is compressed but there difference is really huge.
I am creating an application that needs to connect to an Iot device, so i want to make a wifi hotspot with a custom SSID and password and WPA3.
Could you please provide an example code in Objective-C to get started?
I have a SPFx React application where I am printing the HTML page content using the javascript default window.print() functionality. Once I save the page as pdf from the print preview window and open it using Adobe Acrobat, the links(for eg -> Google) within the content are not clickable and appearing as plain text.
I have tried to print random pages post searching with any keywords in Google and saved the files as pdfs, but, unfortunately, the links are still not clickable there as well.
To check whether it is an Adobe Acrobat issue, I have performed the same print functionality from Android devices and shared the pdf file across the iOS devices and in that case, when opened using Adobe Acrobat, the links are appearing to be clickable.
I am wondering whether it is something related to how the default print functionality works for iPadOS and iOS devices. Any insights on this would be really helpful. Thanks!!!
Note: The links are clickable for MacOS as well as for Windows.

Hello Apple dev world and teams , I am experiencing anormal Waiting for Review for our app, now for more than a week and decided to post the issue here and hopefully get help.
We had successfully upgraded to organization membership and the process with Apple support was really enchanting really responsive, hoping to have the same experience with this issue for review also.

Dears,
We are facing some issue in ios 18.4.1. Recently some of our end users who updated their ios devices to 18.4.1 have experienced random 403 errors in runtime. as per our analysis, We identified that these errors are associated with "CSRF token mismatch".
After successful login, the user's CSRF token is causing issue and it was changed in runtime, this causes the cookie mismatch, and the users is getting 403 errors, and the user session is getting invalid suddenly.
let me know if anyone facing the same issue in ios 18.4.1 and let me know Is there any workaround for this issue.
Thanks.
We are currently working on deploying a Java Card applet onto the eSIM (eUICC) inside an iPhone.
According to the GSMA SGP specifications, the eUICC is expected to support Java Card 3.0.5 Classic Edition. As defined in the Java Card 3.0.5 specification, the javacardx.crypto package should support standard algorithms including MessageDigest.ALG_HMAC_SHA_512.
However, during our testing on the iPhone's embedded eSIM, we found that ALG_HMAC_SHA_512 appears to be unsupported or disabled. The same applet functions correctly on external Java Card platforms that support Java Card 3.0.5, leading us to believe that this is a restriction specific to the iPhone’s eUICC implementation.
Our main questions are:
Why is ALG_HMAC_SHA_512, which is part of the standard Java Card 3.0.5 specification, not available on the iPhone eSIM?
Has Apple imposed any internal restrictions or exclusions on certain crypto algorithms for security, performance, or compliance reasons?
Is there a list or documentation of supported and unsupported Java Card APIs or algorithms on the eUICC used in iPhones?
Any insights from Apple engineers or other developers with experience on this topic would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!
