A specific mlmodelc model runs on iPhone 15, but not on iPhone 16
As we described on the title, the model that I have built completely works on iPhone 15 / A16 Bionic, on the other hand it does not run on iPhone 16 / A18 chip with the following error message. E5RT encountered an STL exception. msg = MILCompilerForANE error: failed to compile ANE model using ANEF. Error=_ANECompiler : ANECCompile() FAILED. E5RT: MILCompilerForANE error: failed to compile ANE model using ANEF. Error=_ANECompiler : ANECCompile() FAILED (11) It consumes 1.5 ~ 1.6 GB RAM on the loading the model, then the consumption is decreased to less than 100MB on the both of iPhone 15 and 16. After that, only on iPhone 16, the above error is shown on the Xcode log, the memory consumption is surged to 5 to 6GB, and the system kills the app. It works well only on iPhone 15. This model is built with the Core ML tools. Until now, I have tried the target iOS 16 to 18 and the compute units of CPU_AND_NE and ALL. But any ways have not solved this issue. OS 26 with CNContactViewController issue
when using CNContactViewController to present a contact detail info, the system CNContactViewController appear some UI issues. Is there an API to check if a Core ML compiled model is already cached?
Hello Apple Developer Community, I'm investigating Core ML model loading behavior and noticed that even when the compiled model path remains unchanged after an APP update, the first run still triggers an "uncached load" process. This seems to impact user experience with unnecessary delays. Question: Does Core ML provide any public API to check whether a compiled model (from a specific .mlmodelc path) is already cached in the system? If such API exists, we'd like to use it for pre-loading decision logic - only perform background pre-load when the model isn't cached. Has anyone encountered similar scenarios or found official solutions? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Latest iOS 26 Beta version seems to have bricked my phone
After my phone updated to the latest version of iOS 26 Beta overnight, I found out this morning that I cannot get past the setup process as it fails to recognise it's connected to the WiFi and is then unable to activate Apple Intelligence. I've tried bypassing this via iPhone mirroring on my MacBook, and while I can access the home screen that way, all native apps are inaccessible and 3rd party apps are only accessible via app switcher. The 3rd party apps (Slack, Instagram, etc) work fine, meaning the device has an internet connection. Unless someone has another suggestion, it looks like my only option is to remove the beta software by restoring my device - although I'm going to wait until iOS 26 is fully released later today (how convenient) as I don't want to use an iOS 18 backup and lose a bunch of stuff.

NavigationSplitView: Make button clickable in detail-section safe area
Hi, I've tried to find a solution for this problem for weeks now but it seems no one knows how to solve it and Apple doesn't seem to care. I have a NavigationSplitView with two columns. In the detail column I have a button - or any other clickable control - which is placed in the very top where usually the safe area resides. The button is NOT clickable when he is in the safe area and I have NO idea why. I know I can place buttons in safe areas of other views and they are clickable. Control Widget SF image cannot stably display
I'm working on the control widget which should display the SF image on the UI, but I have found that it cannot be displayed stably. I have three ExampleControlWidget which is about the type egA egB and egC, it should all be showed but now they only show the text and placeholder. I'm aware of the images should be SF image and I can see them to show perfectly sometimes, but in other time it is just failed. iOS 26 ScrollView with static background image
I need a layout where I have a ScrollView with some content, and ScrollView has full screen background image. Screen is pushed as detail on stack. When my screen is pushed we display navigation bar. We want a new scrollEdgeEffectStyle .soft style work. But when we scroll the gradient blur effect bellow bars is fixed to top and bottom part of the scroll view background image and is not transparent. However when content underneath navigation bar is darker and navigation bar changes automatically to adapt content underneath the final effect looks as expected doesn't use background image. Expected bahaviour for us is that the effect under the navigation bar would not use background image but would be transparent based on content underneath. Session cookie issue in Apple's Webkit
Dears, We are facing some issue in ios 18.4.1. Recently some of our end users who updated their ios devices to 18.4.1 have experienced random 403 errors in runtime. as per our analysis, We identified that these errors are associated with "CSRF token mismatch". After successful login, the user's CSRF token is causing issue and it was changed in runtime, this causes the cookie mismatch, and the users is getting 403 errors, and the user session is getting invalid suddenly. let me know if anyone facing the same issue in ios 18.4.1 and let me know Is there any workaround for this issue. preferredTransition not working when using setViewControllers(_:animated:)
I’m using the new preferredTransition = .zoom(...) API introduced in iOS 18. Here’s a simplified version of what I do on app startup: let listVC = CollectionViewController(collectionViewLayout: layout) let detailVC = DetailViewController() detailVC.preferredTransition = .zoom(sourceViewProvider: { context in let indexPath = IndexPath(row: 0, section: 0) let cell = listVC.collectionView.cellForItem(at: indexPath) return cell }) let nav = UINavigationController() nav.setViewControllers([listVC, detailVC], animated: false) window?.rootViewController = nav window?.makeKeyAndVisible() This is meant to restore the UI state from a previous session — the app should launch directly into the DetailViewController. The Problem When I launch the app with setViewControllers([listVC, detailVC], animated: false), the transition from listVC to detailVC appears correctly (i.e., no animation, as intended), but the drag-to-dismiss gesture does not work. The back button appears, and tapping it correctly triggers the zoom-out transition back to the cell, so the preferredTransition = .zoom(...) itself is properly configured. Interestingly, if I delay the push with a DispatchQueue.main.async and instead do: nav.setViewControllers([listVC], animated: false) DispatchQueue.main.async { nav.pushViewController(detailVC, animated: true) } …then everything works perfectly — including the interactive swipe-to-dismiss gesture — but that introduces an unwanted visual artifact: the user briefly sees the listVC, and then it pushes to detailVC, which I’m trying to avoid. My Question Is there a way to enable the swipe-to-dismiss gesture when using setViewControllers([listVC, detailVC], animated: false) It can be very confusing for users if swipe-to-dismiss only works in certain cases inconsistently. After iOS 18.4, files are called multiple times in WKWebView
Since the transition to iOS 18.4, we have been having an issue where when loading an m3u8 file specified in the src attribute of a video tag in WKWebView, the ts file is loaded repeatedly. Are there any good ideas for this? Also, if there have been any changes to the specifications of WKWebView, we would appreciate it if you could let us know.

Issue with layoutMarginsGuide under iOS 26
Before I file a bug report I wanted to verify that I'm not missing something. If I setup a view controller in a navigation controller and I add a view with a constraint that lines it up with the view controller's view's layoutMarginsGuide (leadingAnchor or trailingAnchor), in several cases the view will not line up with buttons added in the navigation bar. Under iOS 18 everything lines up as expected. To demonstrate, create a new iOS project based on Swift/Storyboard. Setup the storyboard to show a UINavigationController with one UIViewController. Here's the results: iPad running iPadOS 26 beta 3 (note the misalignment). This is really jarring when trying to align another glass button below the cancel button: iPad running iPadOS 18.5 (aligned just fine): iPhone in portrait running iOS 26 beta (aligned just fine): iPhone in landscape running iOS 26 beta (no alignment at all): iPhone in portrait running iOS 18.5 (aligned just fine): iPhone in landscape running iOS 18.5 (aligned just fine): Under iOS 26 on an iPhone (simulator at least) in portrait, the cancel buttons line up with the colored squares. That's good. In landscape, the colored squares have much larger margins as expected (due to the larger safe areas caused by the notch), but the cancel buttons in the navigation bar are not using the same margins. This one is debatable. Under iOS 18 the cancel buttons use larger margins to match the larger safe area. But I can see why under iOS 26 they changed this since the navigation bar doesn't interfere with the notch. But it's inconsistent. Under iOS 26 on an iPad (simulator at least), it's wrong in any orientation. Despite the lack of any notch or need for a larger safe area, the colored squares are indented just a bit more than the buttons in the navigation bar. I see no reason for this. Under iOS 18 everything lines up as expected. My real question at this point: Is the mismatched margins on an iPad under iOS 26 between the buttons in the navigation bar and other views added to the view controller a likely bug or am I missing something?

iOS26 Restoration Identifier NULL
Hi everyone - I'm seeing an issue specifically on iOS26 where we instantiate a few storyboard items programmatically and pull their restoration identifier. On iOS26, these identifiers are null and cause a crash, but the assignments are on the storyboard and there has been no change to that logic. On iOS 18, for example, there is no crash and the identifiers are pulled properly. Anybody else seeing this?

Having trouble getting my app approved
I have been trying for almost a week to get my app approved. It is like the Submission team doesn't even read my notes. The first complaint is that my app was for a specific business and shouldn't be for the general public. This is true, so I put in the notes that I had requested private distribution and I filled out the request for the app to be distributed privately. The review notes say that I need to distribute my app privately. This is very frustrating. Also, they say the login button doesn't work. It works for everyone that uses it in the Test Flight. One nuance we have is that our servers will not respond to IP addresses that orginate outside of the US. I have this in caps in the notes. They still say that the Login button doesn't work. The app was written for iPhones, yet they keep testing it on an iPad. There doesn't seem to be any way to communicate with the submission team other than through the test notes and they don't seem to be reading these. Can anyone direct me to where I can get some help on this? Thanks, Jim

URL in scene openURLContexts does not exist
I'm trying to update an old iOS app to use the UIScene architecture, and I've run into a problem I'm hoping somebody can help me fix. When I try to share a file with my app by AirDrop from another device, the URL that I'm getting from the urlContexts argument does not exist on the device. External Keyboard + Voiceover focus not working with .searchable + List
While editing the search text using the external keyboard (with VoiceOver on), if I try to navigate the to List using the keyboard, the focus jumps back to the search field immediately, preventing selection of list items. It's important to note that the voiceover navigation alone without a keyboard works as expected. It’s as if the List never gains focus—every attempt to move focus lands back on the search field. Cannot recreate reason for app rejection
An update to my app has been rejected under Guideline 2.1 - Performance - App Completeness, citing that only a blank screen appeared on launch. I cannot recreate this bug. I have, on this exact device and iOS version that the reviewer used (iPhone 13 mini, iOS 18.5): Downloaded the app from TestFlight and successfully launched Launched in release mode Launched as a new install AND as an upgrade Launched with no internet, good internet and slow internet I have asked the reviewer for any crash logs and more detail about the testing setup that led to this blank screen on launch, and no extra information was provided at all, just another screenshot of the launch screen. Where do I go from here? Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

VoiceOver Headings Accessibility Rotor with SwiftUI on iOS
Hi, On iOS, I'd like to mark views that are inside a LazyVStack as headers for VoiceOver (make them appear in the headings rotor). In a VStack, you just have add .accessibilityAddTraits(.isHeader) to your header view. However, if your view is in a LazyVStack, that won't work if the view is not visible. As its name implies, LazyVStack is lazy so that makes sense. There is very little information online about system rotors, but it seems you are supposed to use .accessibilityRotor() with the headings system rotor (.accessibilityRotor(.headings)) outside of the LazyVStack. Something like the following. .accessibilityRotor(.headings) { ForEach(entries) { entry in // entry.id must be the same as the id of the SwiftUI view it is about AccessibilityRotorEntry(entry.name, id: entry.id) } } It kinds of work, but only kind of. When using .accessibilityAddTraits(.isHeader) in a VStack, the view is in the headings rotor as soon as you change screen. However, when using .accessibilityRotor(.headings), the headers (headings?) are not in the headings rotor at the time the screen appears. You have to move the accessibility focus inside the screen before your headers show up. I'm a beginner in regards to VoiceOver, so I don't know how a blind user used to VoiceOver would perceive this, but it feels to me that having to move the focus before the headers are in the headings rotor would mean some users would miss them. So my question is: is there a way to have headers inside a LazyVStack (and are not necessarily visible at first) to be in the headings rotor as soon as the screen appears? (be it using .accessibilityRotor(.headings) or anything else) The "SwiftUI Accessibility: Beyond the basics" talk from WWDC 2021 mentions custom rotors, not system rotors, but that should be close enough. It mentions that for accessibilityRotor to work properly it has to be applied on an accessibility container, so just in case I tried to move my .accessibilityRotor(.headings) to multiple places, with and without the accessibilityElement(children: .contain) modifier, but that did not seem to change the behavior (and I could not understand why accessibilityRotor could not automatically make the view it is applied on an accessibility container if needed). Also, a related question: when using .accessibilityRotor(.headings) on a screen, is it fine to mix uses of .accessibilityRotor(.headings) and .accessibilityRotor(.headings)? In a screen with multiple type of contents (something like ScrollView { VStack { MyHeader(); LazyVStack { /* some content */ }; LazyVStack { /* something else */ } } }), having to declare all headers in one place would make code reusability harder. iOS 18.4 is crashing the apps using service workers
After updating to iOS 18.4, our web application (with service workers) crashes on devices that accessed it prior to the update. This issue also affects hybrid mobile apps using the same web application; reinstalling the app resolves it by refetching and reinstalling service workers. Debugging is challenging because clearing the cache or reinstalling the app fixes the problem, and no useful error logs are available. Has anyone encountered similar crashes related to service workers after an iOS update and have any insights into the cause?

As we described on the title, the model that I have built completely works on iPhone 15 / A16 Bionic, on the other hand it does not run on iPhone 16 / A18 chip with the following error message. E5RT encountered an STL exception. msg = MILCompilerForANE error: failed to compile ANE model using ANEF. Error=_ANECompiler : ANECCompile() FAILED. E5RT: MILCompilerForANE error: failed to compile ANE model using ANEF. Error=_ANECompiler : ANECCompile() FAILED (11) It consumes 1.5 ~ 1.6 GB RAM on the loading the model, then the consumption is decreased to less than 100MB on the both of iPhone 15 and 16. After that, only on iPhone 16, the above error is shown on the Xcode log, the memory consumption is surged to 5 to 6GB, and the system kills the app. It works well only on iPhone 15. This model is built with the Core ML tools. Until now, I have tried the target iOS 16 to 18 and the compute units of CPU_AND_NE and ALL. But any ways have not solved this issue. Eventually, what kindof fix should I do? minimum_deployment_target = ct.target.iOS18 compute_units = ct.ComputeUnit.ALL compute_precision = ct.precision.FLOAT16

Is there an API to check if a Core ML compiled model is already cached?
Hello Apple Developer Community, I'm investigating Core ML model loading behavior and noticed that even when the compiled model path remains unchanged after an APP update, the first run still triggers an "uncached load" process. This seems to impact user experience with unnecessary delays. Question: Does Core ML provide any public API to check whether a compiled model (from a specific .mlmodelc path) is already cached in the system? If such API exists, we'd like to use it for pre-loading decision logic - only perform background pre-load when the model isn't cached. Has anyone encountered similar scenarios or found official solutions? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Latest iOS 26 Beta version seems to have bricked my phone
After my phone updated to the latest version of iOS 26 Beta overnight, I found out this morning that I cannot get past the setup process as it fails to recognise it's connected to the WiFi and is then unable to activate Apple Intelligence. I've tried bypassing this via iPhone mirroring on my MacBook, and while I can access the home screen that way, all native apps are inaccessible and 3rd party apps are only accessible via app switcher. The 3rd party apps (Slack, Instagram, etc) work fine, meaning the device has an internet connection. Unless someone has another suggestion, it looks like my only option is to remove the beta software by restoring my device - although I'm going to wait until iOS 26 is fully released later today (how convenient) as I don't want to use an iOS 18 backup and lose a bunch of stuff.

NavigationSplitView: Make button clickable in detail-section safe area
Hi, I've tried to find a solution for this problem for weeks now but it seems no one knows how to solve it and Apple doesn't seem to care. I have a NavigationSplitView with two columns. In the detail column I have a button - or any other clickable control - which is placed in the very top where usually the safe area resides. The button is NOT clickable when he is in the safe area and I have NO idea why. I know I can place buttons in safe areas of other views and they are clickable. Control Widget SF image cannot stably display
I'm working on the control widget which should display the SF image on the UI, but I have found that it cannot be displayed stably. I have three ExampleControlWidget which is about the type egA egB and egC, it should all be showed but now they only show the text and placeholder. I'm aware of the images should be SF image and I can see them to show perfectly sometimes, but in other time it is just failed. iOS 26 ScrollView with static background image
I need a layout where I have a ScrollView with some content, and ScrollView has full screen background image. Screen is pushed as detail on stack. When my screen is pushed we display navigation bar. We want a new scrollEdgeEffectStyle .soft style work. But when we scroll the gradient blur effect bellow bars is fixed to top and bottom part of the scroll view background image and is not transparent. However when content underneath navigation bar is darker and navigation bar changes automatically to adapt content underneath the final effect looks as expected doesn't use background image. Expected bahaviour for us is that the effect under the navigation bar would not use background image but would be transparent based on content underneath. Session cookie issue in Apple's Webkit
Dears, We are facing some issue in ios 18.4.1. Recently some of our end users who updated their ios devices to 18.4.1 have experienced random 403 errors in runtime. as per our analysis, We identified that these errors are associated with "CSRF token mismatch". After successful login, the user's CSRF token is causing issue and it was changed in runtime, this causes the cookie mismatch, and the users is getting 403 errors, and the user session is getting invalid suddenly. let me know if anyone facing the same issue in ios 18.4.1 and let me know Is there any workaround for this issue. preferredTransition not working when using setViewControllers(_:animated:)
I’m using the new preferredTransition = .zoom(...) API introduced in iOS 18. Here’s a simplified version of what I do on app startup: let listVC = CollectionViewController(collectionViewLayout: layout) let detailVC = DetailViewController() detailVC.preferredTransition = .zoom(sourceViewProvider: { context in let indexPath = IndexPath(row: 0, section: 0) let cell = listVC.collectionView.cellForItem(at: indexPath) return cell }) let nav = UINavigationController() nav.setViewControllers([listVC, detailVC], animated: false) window?.rootViewController = nav window?.makeKeyAndVisible() This is meant to restore the UI state from a previous session — the app should launch directly into the DetailViewController. The Problem When I launch the app with setViewControllers([listVC, detailVC], animated: false), the transition from listVC to detailVC appears correctly (i.e., no animation, as intended), but the drag-to-dismiss gesture does not work. The back button appears, and tapping it correctly triggers the zoom-out transition back to the cell, so the preferredTransition = .zoom(...) itself is properly configured. Interestingly, if I delay the push with a DispatchQueue.main.async and instead do: nav.setViewControllers([listVC], animated: false) DispatchQueue.main.async { nav.pushViewController(detailVC, animated: true) } …then everything works perfectly — including the interactive swipe-to-dismiss gesture — but that introduces an unwanted visual artifact: the user briefly sees the listVC, and then it pushes to detailVC, which I’m trying to avoid. My Question Is there a way to enable the swipe-to-dismiss gesture when using setViewControllers([listVC, detailVC], animated: false) It can be very confusing for users if swipe-to-dismiss only works in certain cases inconsistently. After iOS 18.4, files are called multiple times in WKWebView
Since the transition to iOS 18.4, we have been having an issue where when loading an m3u8 file specified in the src attribute of a video tag in WKWebView, the ts file is loaded repeatedly. Are there any good ideas for this? Also, if there have been any changes to the specifications of WKWebView, we would appreciate it if you could let us know.

Issue with layoutMarginsGuide under iOS 26
Before I file a bug report I wanted to verify that I'm not missing something. If I setup a view controller in a navigation controller and I add a view with a constraint that lines it up with the view controller's view's layoutMarginsGuide (leadingAnchor or trailingAnchor), in several cases the view will not line up with buttons added in the navigation bar. Under iOS 18 everything lines up as expected. To demonstrate, create a new iOS project based on Swift/Storyboard. Setup the storyboard to show a UINavigationController with one UIViewController. Here's the results: iPad running iPadOS 26 beta 3 (note the misalignment). This is really jarring when trying to align another glass button below the cancel button: iPad running iPadOS 18.5 (aligned just fine): iPhone in portrait running iOS 26 beta (aligned just fine): iPhone in landscape running iOS 26 beta (no alignment at all): iPhone in portrait running iOS 18.5 (aligned just fine): iPhone in landscape running iOS 18.5 (aligned just fine): Under iOS 26 on an iPhone (simulator at least) in portrait, the cancel buttons line up with the colored squares. That's good. In landscape, the colored squares have much larger margins as expected (due to the larger safe areas caused by the notch), but the cancel buttons in the navigation bar are not using the same margins. This one is debatable. Under iOS 18 the cancel buttons use larger margins to match the larger safe area. But I can see why under iOS 26 they changed this since the navigation bar doesn't interfere with the notch. But it's inconsistent. Under iOS 26 on an iPad (simulator at least), it's wrong in any orientation. Despite the lack of any notch or need for a larger safe area, the colored squares are indented just a bit more than the buttons in the navigation bar. I see no reason for this. Under iOS 18 everything lines up as expected. My real question at this point: Is the mismatched margins on an iPad under iOS 26 between the buttons in the navigation bar and other views added to the view controller a likely bug or am I missing something?

iOS26 Restoration Identifier NULL
Hi everyone - I'm seeing an issue specifically on iOS26 where we instantiate a few storyboard items programmatically and pull their restoration identifier. On iOS26, these identifiers are null and cause a crash, but the assignments are on the storyboard and there has been no change to that logic. On iOS 18, for example, there is no crash and the identifiers are pulled properly. Anybody else seeing this?

Xcode not showing devices as run destination
After updating to Xcode 26 RC on Tahoe 26 RC and iOS 26 RC (and now final version of both Tahoe and iOS). I'm still unable to debug on device. I've tried rebooting, resetting settings, cleaning trusted computers. I ran out of ideas, I was expecting that final versions would fix this but they didn't.

Having trouble getting my app approved
I have been trying for almost a week to get my app approved. It is like the Submission team doesn't even read my notes. The first complaint is that my app was for a specific business and shouldn't be for the general public. This is true, so I put in the notes that I had requested private distribution and I filled out the request for the app to be distributed privately. The review notes say that I need to distribute my app privately. This is very frustrating. Also, they say the login button doesn't work. It works for everyone that uses it in the Test Flight. One nuance we have is that our servers will not respond to IP addresses that orginate outside of the US. I have this in caps in the notes. They still say that the Login button doesn't work. The app was written for iPhones, yet they keep testing it on an iPad. There doesn't seem to be any way to communicate with the submission team other than through the test notes and they don't seem to be reading these. Can anyone direct me to where I can get some help on this? Thanks, Jim

URL in scene openURLContexts does not exist
I'm trying to update an old iOS app to use the UIScene architecture, and I've run into a problem I'm hoping somebody can help me fix. When I try to share a file with my app by AirDrop from another device, the URL that I'm getting from the urlContexts argument does not exist on the device. External Keyboard + Voiceover focus not working with .searchable + List
While editing the search text using the external keyboard (with VoiceOver on), if I try to navigate the to List using the keyboard, the focus jumps back to the search field immediately, preventing selection of list items. It's important to note that the voiceover navigation alone without a keyboard works as expected. It’s as if the List never gains focus—every attempt to move focus lands back on the search field. Cannot recreate reason for app rejection
An update to my app has been rejected under Guideline 2.1 - Performance - App Completeness, citing that only a blank screen appeared on launch. I cannot recreate this bug. I have, on this exact device and iOS version that the reviewer used (iPhone 13 mini, iOS 18.5): Downloaded the app from TestFlight and successfully launched Launched in release mode Launched as a new install AND as an upgrade Launched with no internet, good internet and slow internet I have asked the reviewer for any crash logs and more detail about the testing setup that led to this blank screen on launch, and no extra information was provided at all, just another screenshot of the launch screen. Where do I go from here? Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

VoiceOver Headings Accessibility Rotor with SwiftUI on iOS
Hi, On iOS, I'd like to mark views that are inside a LazyVStack as headers for VoiceOver (make them appear in the headings rotor). In a VStack, you just have add .accessibilityAddTraits(.isHeader) to your header view. However, if your view is in a LazyVStack, that won't work if the view is not visible. As its name implies, LazyVStack is lazy so that makes sense. There is very little information online about system rotors, but it seems you are supposed to use .accessibilityRotor() with the headings system rotor (.accessibilityRotor(.headings)) outside of the LazyVStack. Something like the following. .accessibilityRotor(.headings) { ForEach(entries) { entry in // entry.id must be the same as the id of the SwiftUI view it is about AccessibilityRotorEntry(entry.name, id: entry.id) } } It kinds of work, but only kind of. When using .accessibilityAddTraits(.isHeader) in a VStack, the view is in the headings rotor as soon as you change screen. However, when using .accessibilityRotor(.headings), the headers (headings?) are not in the headings rotor at the time the screen appears. You have to move the accessibility focus inside the screen before your headers show up. I'm a beginner in regards to VoiceOver, so I don't know how a blind user used to VoiceOver would perceive this, but it feels to me that having to move the focus before the headers are in the headings rotor would mean some users would miss them. So my question is: is there a way to have headers inside a LazyVStack (and are not necessarily visible at first) to be in the headings rotor as soon as the screen appears? (be it using .accessibilityRotor(.headings) or anything else) The "SwiftUI Accessibility: Beyond the basics" talk from WWDC 2021 mentions custom rotors, not system rotors, but that should be close enough. It mentions that for accessibilityRotor to work properly it has to be applied on an accessibility container, so just in case I tried to move my .accessibilityRotor(.headings) to multiple places, with and without the accessibilityElement(children: .contain) modifier, but that did not seem to change the behavior (and I could not understand why accessibilityRotor could not automatically make the view it is applied on an accessibility container if needed). Also, a related question: when using .accessibilityRotor(.headings) on a screen, is it fine to mix uses of .accessibilityRotor(.headings) and .accessibilityRotor(.headings)? In a screen with multiple type of contents (something like ScrollView { VStack { MyHeader(); LazyVStack { /* some content */ }; LazyVStack { /* something else */ } } }), having to declare all headers in one place would make code reusability harder. iOS 18.4 is crashing the apps using service workers
After updating to iOS 18.4, our web application (with service workers) crashes on devices that accessed it prior to the update. This issue also affects hybrid mobile apps using the same web application; reinstalling the app resolves it by refetching and reinstalling service workers. Debugging is challenging because clearing the cache or reinstalling the app fixes the problem, and no useful error logs are available. Has anyone encountered similar crashes related to service workers after an iOS update and have any insights into the cause?
