TestFlight Public Links on the forums
TestFlight Public Links are a great way to share beta versions of your apps with other members of the Apple Developer Program. With this new channel, you can share your TestFlight Public Links with the developer community, to gather valuable feedback on crucial elements, like technical implementation, user experience, design, and more. To maximize the benefits of posting TestFlight Public Links in the Developer Forums, here are some best practices to keep in mind: Provide details: Give comprehensive information about your app, like new features and test cases, and note specific areas where you seek feedback. The more detailed your post is, the better equipped the community will be to provide insight. Select platforms: Select the platforms that your beta app supports. Enter categories: Enter the App category you’ve selected or plan to select for your app on the App Store. Categories are critical to ensuring your post can be easily found by interested users. Stay connected with notifications: Enable web and push notifications so you’ll know when you receive feedback on your post. Note: The TestFlight app is still the most comprehensive way to gather feedback. This space is meant as a helpful secondary channel.

Testflight issue: "The requested app is not available or doesn't exist"
We submitted a build to testflight and received a confirmation email it was successfully uploaded. When we open testflight on our iPhone's (X, 6s) we get a message of "Could not install appname" "The requested app is not available or does not exist" Where appname is the name of the app. Its very confusing because I can see the build listed in testflight on my mobile device and can view it in iTunes connect. I also can't install prior builds that had worked successfully when I try.

TestFlight App uses wrong sandbox account for payment
I'm using TestFlight to test an app with payment/subscription functionality. I created sandbox accounts in AppStore Connect accordingly to be able to test the subscriptions. I'm logged in with the sandbox account. When I try to subscribe in the App the wrong account (this is my actual real AppleID) is used for the subscription although it is recognized that this is just a sandbox subscription. I tried: logging off/on into the sandbox account creating a totally new sandbox account trying to trigger the payment with no logged in sandbox account The result is always: in the payment popup it is stated that the purchase account will be my original AppleID and not a sandbox account. How can I switch the accounts? Is this a bug at Apple's side somehow?

Problem loading our login attempt indefinitely
Hi, I have an application published in the Marketplace. I made certain updates to the app. I did my tests. No problem. I did my tests via Testflight. There is no problem I encountered. But my app update request was returned by app review. The answer i got from them ;  "Specifically, our login attempt displayed loading indefinitely; we were unable to access the app features and functionality." Here are the ways that I tried and the app worked successfully. Connect from America using VPN.No problem, it works. I connected from using IPV6.No problem, it works. I tried with simulator. No problem, it works. I tried real device. No problem , it works. I tried testflight. No problem, it works. I tired version 15.2 and earlier. No problem , it works. I have no idea why apple staff are getting this error. Has anyone encountered such a problem before? What solutions would you suggest? I'm waiting for your help.

Mac App Store TestFlight not available when using non-Xcode developer tools
@Quinn, The application which is not made with Xcode, has a provision profile, but App Store Connect says "Not Available for Testing". My Googlefu appears weak as I can't seem to figure out why this is, except that it mentions you need to be using Xcode 13 or newer. Am guessing Xcode is adding some meta data to the Info.plist file which TestFlight requires. Is it possible to know which keys and values are required to satisfy TestFlight? If it's not plist keys, is there something else that's needed, that can be shared? We can do this privately if desired.

Should deleted testers be counted in maximum number of testers calculation?
I've reached maximum number of testers for my app. That's why I've deleted all testers from TestFlight to clean testers list and invite new and old testers again by public link. But deleted testers are still count in "All testers", but in "Deleted testers" filter. And the error "You’ve added the maximum number of external testers for this app" still occurs. Is this how it's supposed to work or is this a bug?

Unable to Add Internal Groups to TestFlight Builds / Cannot distribute
In App Store Connect I've uploaded a new build about 11 hours ago and but I'm unable to distribute the App to my tester groups - including internal. The internal group is grayed out. I am able to Select an External group but they actually do not receive any email notification nor do they see any update within their TestFlight App. I've attempted to upload the build a few times, including old builds which had been distributed in the past to no avail. I'm not able to distribute to any tester group, please advise.

Automatic build numbering
Dear Experts, What is the current best practice for build numbering? I ask because I am aware that when exporting an archived app for upload I am now asked if I want Xcode to manage the build number for me. In the past I have set a build number in the Info.plist, often based on the date, e.g. 2.4.20230218. Now, I am asked if I want that to be replaced by something like 2.4.7 (if I recall correctly). So far I've answered No. Previously I have searched for automatic build numbering and I've found web pages that suggest adding a script to the build process that automatically increments the build number in the info.plist, or similar. I've not tried to implement that myself. In some of my apps, I have code that needs to know the full version at compile time (e.g. app receipt validation). How would that interact with the new feature? Thanks, Phil.

Crypting ITMS-90886 error abound bundles identifiers and provisioning profiles
I suddenly started to receive the following email with the error in it stating that my uploaded app is not available to be used in TestFlight: ITMS-90886: 'Cannot be used with TestFlight because the signature for the bundle at “MyApp.app/Contents/PlugIns/MyAppWidgetExtension.appex” is missing an application identifier but has an application identifier in the provisioning profile for the bundle. Bundles with application identifiers in the provisioning profile are expected to have the same identifier signed into the bundle in order to be eligible for TestFlight.' It was all working fine and now I am not sure even where to start looking. Signing, provisioning and everything else is managed automatically.

The following is the error screen This page has one or more errors. Please make sure the contact phone number contains only numbers and try again. Cannot save name because there are other invalid fields. Cannot save last name because there are other invalid fields. Could not save email because there are other invalid fields. Couldn't redeem TestFlight invitation code
I cannot add myself as a TestFlight user to my own app. When I open the invite link on my device, or manually enter the redeem code on device (obtained from opening the invite link on macOS), I get "This invitation has been revoked or is invalid". I've tried going to App Store Connect and removing myself from both the testing group and the list of 'All testers', both to no avail. Apple folks: this is not user error and you must have thousands of bug reports on this by now. Why don't you prioritize a fix for this incredibly annoying issue?

Testflight Store Region Issue - Mac Catalyst
We have an iOS app which is currently available in AppStore. Now we are enabling Mac Catalyst support for the Mac users. As our app is contains In App purchases and it is working fine in iOS devices. But when we try to purchase subscriptions from Mac Catalyst app using TestFlight, it gives the error “Your account is not valid for use in the U.S. store. You must switch to the Japan store before purchasing.” Then after we have checked an AppStore region and the region is already Japan. Any assistance would be appreciated.

How to cancel Auto-renewable subscription bought in TestFlight?
I've read several topics on cancelling subscriptions in sandbox environment, but it seems to me that it could not be applied to TestFlight. I can cancel sandbox subscriptions through Settings > App Store > Sandbox account But since TestFlight does not use sandbox account I cannot cancel a sub from there. Also, TF purchase does not appear in the list of regular subscriptions (Settings > Profile > Media & Purchases). So my question is: is there any way to manually cancel auto-renewable subscription bought in TestFlight build of the app?

Missing Entitlement. The bundle ... is missing entitlement 'com.apple.developer.networking.networkextension'."
Hello everyone, I'm encountering an issue while trying to publish an app on TestFlight. The app in question is Home Assistant, which I've compiled from the source. I am able to compile and install the app on my device without any problems. My company's developer account is properly configured, and I have set Xcode to automatically manage the provisioning profile. The archive is also created successfully, but when I attempt to upload it to Apple Store Connect for testing via TestFlight, I receive the following error: ERROR: [ContentDelivery.Uploader] Asset validation failed (90525) Missing Entitlement. The bundle 'Home Assistant.app/PlugIns/HomeAssistant-Extensions-PushProvider.appex' is missing entitlement 'com.apple.developer.networking.networkextension'. (ID: ceac6dcc-9c76-412e-8ea7-f2d2845f8013) I've made several attempts to resolve this issue to no avail. For instance, if I add the missing capability manually, then I am informed that the provisioning profile is incorrect. However, checking the network extension settings on my company's dev account, I see nothing related to push notifications, which are located elsewhere. Thus, I am stuck in a loop where either the provisioning file is correct but the entitlement is missing, or if the entitlement is present, then the provisioning profile is deemed incorrect. Can't fetch products from App Store connect
I had everything working with Revenue Cat. Then my app got rejected for not loading subscriptions, which was odd because a previous built was rejected for wording on that same paywall. I checked, and realised I suddenly can't fetch products in testFlight either. I can only see products in Xcode using the store kit configuration file. I've found many issues like this online and everybody point to the same solutions (that seem to work for most), but here's what I tried so far: Checked that all my agreements in App Store Connect are active Checked that ids match between Xcode / revenue cat / App Store connect Store kit config file is syncing with App Store Connect correctly I removed revenue cat and used the store kit api directly to fetch products. The array of products is empty in all environments that don't have access to store kit config file. Checked status of all subscriptions (all waiting for review -- as they were when the paywall worked) Nothing seems to work... Any suggestions? Many thanks

Many thanks

Testflight builds not showing up
My archived xcode builds show that they have been successfully uploaded to testflight but once in the appstore they do not appear. Is there anyone else with the same problem?
