Assistance Needed: App Submission Issue (ITMS-90426)
Hello, We submitted our app on TestFlight, but received an automated response with the following error: ITMS-90426: Invalid Swift Support - The SwiftSupport folder is missing. Rebuild your app using the current public (GM) version of Xcode and resubmit it. Our app is developed entirely in Objective-C, and we’re unsure why it’s looking for SwiftSupport. Despite attempting several potential solutions, the error persists. Could someone please assist us with understanding why this is happening and advise on how to proceed with the submission? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.

"Trouble connecting consumable In-App Purchases (IAP) to App Store Connect"
I am developing an app with support for In-App Purchases (IAP) for consumable products using StoreKit. I have defined the products in ProductList.plist and Product.storekit, but I am unable to connect them correctly to App Store Connect. Here are the details: Products defined in ProductList.plist: Bolet Evento Vip: com.cover.boleto.vip Boleto Evento Básico: com.cover.boleto.basico Configuration in Product.storekit: The products have prices and basic configurations, but they do not seem to link properly in App Store Connect. Steps I have taken: Configured IAP simulation in Xcode. Attempted to register the products in App Store Connect. Issues I am facing: The products are not appearing in App Store Connect after configuration. My app cannot seem to fetch consumable products from App Store Connect. Question: What steps should I follow to correctly register consumable products in App Store Connect and connect the app with StoreKit for production? Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Apple is preventing us from updating our app
In December 2022 we published an app. Since then, we published countless updates, never had any problem with the app. We have hundreds of new users daily, got far more than 100k downloads in total, have paying/subscribed users. The beginning of December 2024 in app update that shoudl fix a crucial bug, we suddenly received this rejection: _"Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam: We continue to notice that your app shares a similar binary, metadata, and/or concept as apps submitted to the App Store by other developers, with only minor differences. Submitting similar or repackaged apps is a form of spam that creates clutter and makes it difficult for users to discover new apps."_ What makes it even worse is: In our latest update that we published is a very crucial bug. Literally just days after we noticed this bug we fixed it and sent another version for review. Since then the rejections happened. I do not understand why Apple, out of nowhere, suddenly, prevents us to update/fix our application. It caused us to work more than 10+ hours per day during the christmas holidays. We made so many changes to our app, rebranded our entire app, improved UI/UX, added unique features, languages, and so on to our app. But whatever we send for review simply gets rejected again, and again with the same reason. What is happening? Why would they even prevent an app that has a 100k+ downloads, paying/subscribed users, was released two years ago, etc. from updating? We have responsibilities towards our users (especially paying users!) It is incredibly frustrating and demotivating to have an incognito person (who knows who the app reviewer is?!) above you and your product and to literally decide over YOUR faith. We already sent it to appeal but no reply at all. As we write this, we already have lost thousands of dollars in the past few weeks. Not only have we lost so much money, but we have worked 80+ hours to fix this problem, simply to get the same old rejection without real explanation. Did I already mention that we published the app in December 2022? We have no control over that someone copies our product our our features. Why would they punish us? Why was it totally fine to publish the app and to have 20+ (or even far more) updates published without any problem, but when we try to fix a crucial bug, suddenly we get rejected like this? After spending such a long time to add unique features, updating the app, and so on, to simply get rejected again, after we tried so hard to solve this problem, we get rejected just with the same reason. I asked them: What do you exactly want us to change? No answer. Just the same copy and paste reply. It is incredibly frustrating. I am even thinking to take legal actions. They are literally preventing us to update our product. We are the ones who get emails every single day from customers. We have a huge monetary loss as well. I feel so disappointed and angry at the same time.

App Automatically Logging Out for Some Users
Hello, We’re experiencing an issue in our app where a subset of users are being logged out automatically without any apparent reason. This is impacting both iOS 16 and iOS 17 users (though it’s hard to confirm if it’s platform-specific). Here’s a breakdown of the situation: Symptoms Some users report being logged out of the app randomly, even after remaining active. The issue doesn’t seem to affect all users—just a specific subset. Users are prompted to log in again, and once they do, the app behaves as expected until the issue recurs.

Are subscriptions Product ID unique per app or per developer account?
Hello, I'm trying to create a subscription for one of my apps. When I specify the Product ID yearly_3, I get the following error message: The Product ID you entered is already being used by another subscription. This app does not have any other subscriptions with this Product ID. But I have another app with a yearly_3 Product ID. According to the official documentation, the Product ID is A unique ID specific to your app. So I thought it was possible to have the same Product ID between apps, but not for the same app. What's the rule here? Thanks, Axel

Developer / Apple ID randomly locked without any reason given
Friday we were preparing to publish our final build in TestFlight. Our developer informed me that the account holder had to agree to new terms and agreements. I am the sole user of this account, and tried to login (1 week ago I was still able to login). To my surprise I got the notification “account locked”, ”you need to reset your password”. I followed the required step: filling in the phone number on file (which is my phone number). After filling this in the page informed me that they’d get back to me in 1 day. On Saturday I received an email from no_reply@apple with the following “We have received the request for access to your account and we have denied access.” There was no further information in the email why this would be. I tried Apple support but they tell me they can not reactivate the account and I should apply for a new Apple ID. This sounds really strange as it would mean I would lose access to our currently published application forever? I also submitted request to Apple Developer Support, but it seems I can not call them myself, and I should await reply from their side. But in general I am just shocked how they can deny access to an account, which is even a paid one (Developer Program), and not help me out. I am able to supply all identification (passport). I have access to the email that we use to login. I have access to the mobile phone number that is connected for exactly this reason (two factor authentication). Anyone with similar experience and/or solutions?

Only 'Users and Access' Visible on App Store Connect – Apps Not Showing
Hello, I’m encountering an issue with my App Store Connect account. When I log in, I can only see the “Users and Access” section. The “Apps” section is not showing up, and I’m unable to view or manage my applications. I’ve tried the following steps with no success: Checked for any issues with my Apple Developer account or App Store Connect permissions. Logged in using different browsers and cleared cache. Ensured that my role (as an Admin/Account Holder) has full access. Has anyone encountered a similar problem? Could it be related to my account role, or is there a different issue that might be causing this? Any help or insights would be appreciated. Thanks!

Account Termination Under Guideline 3.2(f) Help!
Subject: Concern Regarding App Removal and Account Termination Under Guideline 3.2(f) Dear Apple Developer Team, I recently received a notification that my application is being removed from the App Store and my developer account is being terminated under Guideline 3.2(f). Despite submitting detailed, clear, and solution-oriented appeals, I have consistently received the same automated response. My application featured unique, high-quality, and professionally crafted content, adhering to Apple’s guidelines. I believe this decision may stem from some misunderstandings. However, I have been unable to connect with anyone for further clarification, and my appeals seem to be overlooked in favor of a standard response. As a developer, I have always prioritized compliance with Apple’s policies. In fact, during previous reviews, I explicitly ensured that my app met all requirements, even consulting Apple before implementing certain features. I am concerned that this decision may not fully reflect the effort and care I’ve put into adhering to Apple’s standards. I understand the high volume of appeals Apple receives and the pressure to make swift decisions. However, I strongly believe that a thorough review of my appeal would reveal that any potential issues have already been addressed. I urge Apple to approach this situation with the professionalism and fairness that the developer community expects. Recognizing and addressing such concerns would reinforce the trust and collaboration between developers and Apple. Thank you for your time and understanding. I sincerely hope for an opportunity to resolve this issue and continue contributing to the App Store ecosystem. Best regards,

Change Bundle ID of an app that is only over TestFlight
Can I change the bundle identifier for an app that I have pushed to TestFlight beta testing but have not released a single build to the App Store yet? I hover over the bundle identifier in the App Information section of the App Store Connect Apps page, but I do not currently see an option to edit it.

The product archive package's signature is invalid
The product archive package's signature is invalid. Ensure that it is signed with your "3rd Party Mac Developer Installer" certificate. (90237) I'm receiving this error, despite the fact that I'm using this certificate when creating the pkg (with electron-forge) My configuration is shown below - note the 3rd Party Mac Developer Installer identity when using new MakerPKG. const config: ForgeConfig = { packagerConfig: { asar: true, name: 'Deep Focus', icon: 'resources/icon.icns', osxSign: { identity: 'Apple Distribution: Timeo Williams (3Y4F3KTSJA)', type: 'distribution', provisioningProfile: '/Users/timeo/Desktop/Deep Focus/deepWork/distribution.provisionprofile', preAutoEntitlements: false, // eslint-disable-next-line @typescript-eslint/explicit-function-return-type optionsForFile() { return { entitlements: 'build/entitlements.mas.plist' } } }, extendInfo: 'build/info.plist', osxUniversal: { mergeASARs: true }, appCategoryType: 'public.app-category.productivity', appBundleId: 'com.electron.deepfocus', extraResource: [ 'resources/.env', 'resources/icon.icns', ] }, rebuildConfig: {}, makers: [ new MakerSquirrel({}), new MakerZIP({}), new MakerRpm({}), new MakerDeb({}), new MakerDMG({ appPath: './out/Deep Focus-darwin-arm64/Deep Focus.app', name: 'Deep Focus', icon: './resources/icon.icns', format: 'ULFO', overwrite: true, contents: (opts) => [ { x: 130, y: 220, type: 'file', path: opts.appPath }, { x: 410, y: 220, type: 'link', path: '/Applications' } ] }), new MakerPKG({ name: 'Deep Focus', identity: '3rd Party Mac Developer Installer: Timeo Williams (3Y4F3KTSJA)' }) ], plugins: [ new VitePlugin({ build: [ { entry: 'src/main.ts', config: 'vite.main.config.ts', target: 'main' }, { entry: 'src/preload.ts', config: 'vite.preload.config.ts', target: 'preload' } ], renderer: [ { name: 'main_window', config: 'vite.renderer.config.mts' // Path to Vite config for renderer process } ] }), new FusesPlugin({ version: FuseVersion.V1, [FuseV1Options.RunAsNode]: false, [FuseV1Options.EnableCookieEncryption]: true, [FuseV1Options.EnableNodeOptionsEnvironmentVariable]: false, [FuseV1Options.EnableNodeCliInspectArguments]: false, [FuseV1Options.EnableEmbeddedAsarIntegrityValidation]: true, [FuseV1Options.OnlyLoadAppFromAsar]: true }) ] } Yet, I'm getting the error from Transporter that it's invalid?

VisionOS doesn't support offer code?
I want to create offer code for my Vision app, but I didn't find that option in Apple Connect subscription price page. And when I check that from my iPhone app page, I saw the offer code description "Codes for discounted prices or free offers are unique alphanumeric codes that can be easily distributed using physical or digital channels for your iOS app and macOS app. Your customers can redeem them on devices running iOS 14, iPadOS 14, macOS 15 or later through the App Store redemption flow or within the app if you've implemented the presentCodeRedemptionSheet StoreKit API. You can create codes for up to 10 active offers at a time." It doesn't mentioned VisionOS, so can I set offer code for my Vision app?

Calling finish on an unfinishedTransaction doesn't work
So, we've implemented IAP with StoreKit2 e2e for both the client and backend and it's working mostly perfectly, however we have an issue which we can't seem to understand Apple's behavior. So, imagine a purchase that occurred on the 10th of December in the sandbox environment through an install from TestFlight, and this same purchase keeps getting queued in the Transaction.unfinished list for some reason (today, the 17th of December, a whole week after the initial purchase!). Here's the flow: We iterate the list on app launch Send the unfinishedTransaction's transactionId to our servers The server says "hey, we could verify it with Apple but it's not longer active (expired). We can't really work with it so just finish it on your side and don't send it to me again" The client finishes!! the transaction On the very next app launch it keeps reappearing in the Transaction.unfinished queue Are we doing something wrong, why doesn't it get cleaned? Is this an expected behavior? Note, this is generally the server's logic for new purchases: If we weren't able to contact Apple - we tell the client to not finish the transaction so that we'll be able to re-iterate it on the next app launch or retry If the transaction is not expired and valid - we update our records and tell the client to finish the transaction If we couldn't update our records - we tell the client to not finish the transaction so that we'll be able to re-iterate it on the next app launch or retry If the transaction is not valid for some reason - we tell the user to finish the transaction The server might see it as a valid transaction if we'll send the originalTransactionId instead of the 'transactionId(using it to callgetTransactionInfoinAppStoreServerLibrary`), but is this something we want to do? This will obviously not fix the problem because the server tells the client to finish the transaction anyways, but it simply doesn't work. Please, any advice or changes to make to either Client/Server would be greatly appreciated Best Regards, Ofek

TIME TO AUTHORIZE UNLISTED APPS
I have submitted two requests by filling out forms to be authorized to distribute unlisted apps, the first one a month ago and the second one a week ago, and I have not received confirmation for either of them. I suppose I received confirmation by email. How long do I normally have to wait for a response? Where can I see the status of my request?
