Help with 4.3 Spam Rejection
I am in the middle of trying to get an app approved for beta release and the back and forth with the App Store reviewers has been incredibly frustrating and concerning. On Tuesday, I created an app record for my app but quickly realized I made it under the wrong account- I'm working for a company that has a few brands under it's umbrella, and I was under the wrong account when I created the app record. Rather than wait several days to get Apple's approval to transfer app ownership, I decided to delete that app record and create a new one under the proper account. Worst mistake of my life. Now, Apple is insisting that the new app record is spam despite my clarification that I own the other app record and that it was deleted before the new one was created. I have no choice but to believe that somebody else is using our branding and asset somewhere in the App Store that I can't see. Does anybody know how I can resolve this? It should have never taken me the whole week to make an app available on test flight and my stakeholders are not pleased, and I have no clear path towards resolution that will allow me to use the proper branding with the proper company account. App review refuse to offer any solutions, I am stuck with a brand name that I can't use because it's associated with an app I already deleted.

Sign in with Apple: Token status after app deletion in App Store Connect
Hello, I have a question regarding the lifecycle of user consent and tokens in "Sign in with Apple." Specifically, I would like to understand the behavior of the auth/revoke API in relation to App Store Connect status changes. Impact of App Status Changes If an app is "Removed from Sale" or "Deleted" from App Store Connect, does Apple automatically revoke all associated user tokens and consent? Or is it still the developer's responsibility to programmatically revoke each user's token via the REST API to ensure the app is removed from the user’s "Apps Using Apple ID" list? API Availability after Removal Once an app is no longer available on the App Store (or its record is deleted in App Store Connect), is the auth/revoke REST API still accessible? I want to ensure that a developer can still perform necessary privacy clean-up tasks (revoking consent) even if the app is not currently distributed. Specific User Impacts of Non-Revocation If we do not call the revocation API, besides the app remaining in the "Sign in with Apple" list, what are the specific consequences for the user? Thank you for your guidance.

App Store version stuck in Developer Rejected state, blocking IAP submission
Hello, We are facing an App Store Connect issue that is blocking our release and cannot be resolved from the developer side. Here is the exact situation: iOS app version 1.0 was initially approved together with its associated in-app purchases (auto-renewable subscriptions). We decided not to release that version and manually set version 1.0 to “Developer Rejected”. After that, we made minor optimization fixes and uploaded a new build to App Store Connect. When attempting to submit this new build, the In-App Purchases section no longer appears in the App Store version UI, so we are unable to associate the already approved IAPs with the submission. Additionally, the “New Version” option is not available, so we cannot create a new app version either. As a result, any submission is rejected with the same message stating that the app references in-app purchases that were not submitted for review, even though the IAPs themselves are already approved. We have contacted App Store Connect Support and explained the situation in App Review notes, but we continue to receive the same rejection without any way to resolve the issue through App Store Connect. This appears to be an App Store Connect tooling or version state issue related to a Developer Rejected app version, rather than an in-app purchase configuration problem. Could an Apple staff member please assist by forwarding this to App Store Connect Support or engineering so the affected app version state can be reset or removed, allowing us to associate the approved IAPs and proceed with submission? Thank you for your help.

Validation failed (-19241) The app contains one or more corrupted binaries. Rebuild the app and resubmit.
I am using XCode (Version 26.0.1 (17A400)) -> Archive -> Distribute App (or Validate App) to upload my iOS app into App Store Connect. However I am always getting this error: Uploading SPI errors: Validation failed (409) The app contains one or more corrupted binaries. Rebuild the app and resubmit. NSUnderlyingError : Validation failed (-19241) The app contains one or more corrupted binaries. Rebuild the app and resubmit. code : STATE_ERROR.VALIDATION_ERROR I tried exporting the app as an IPA and uploading with Transporter, but I see the same error. I couldn't find any other useful logs or error messages. More info: I have created the app in App Store Connect and this is my first time uploading. The app can build and run on my physical phone and emulator without any problem. Would be great to get some help! Thanks!

App is live in App Store but subscriptions are NOT since 8 days
Hi there, I dont now what to do anymore and you help is more than appreciated. My app + subscriptions has been certified before 8 days on Monday, 8th but my subscriptions are not shown in the App Store. That leads to a loading spinner since 8 days in my production app! I have an email, where I see that the app + all 6 subscriptions has been approved. On the other hand I see that my subscriptions are still in review and dont see them below the app in the App Store. I was given last week on Tuesday (before 7 days) an expedite review for the subscriptions, because the Apple developer support was writing that the subscriptions are not yet certified. The expedite review has not taken place since 7 days or its not true what the Apple Developer Support is writing (subscriptions need to be reviewed). I think the subscriptions are not linked to the app and I am in a dead lock situation. I need your help, because I have fears that I receive 1 star recommendations and the developer support cannot help me since 8 days. How to Release an App Using Unlisted App Distribution
Hello, I would like guidance on how to correctly release an app using Unlisted App Distribution. We have an iPad-only app that is intended for a limited and specific audience (not for public discovery on the App Store). We do not want the app to be searchable on the App Store, but only accessible via a direct link shared with approved users. Could you please clarify: The correct steps in App Store Connect to submit and release an app as Unlisted Whether approval for Unlisted App Distribution is required before submission, and how to request it Any specific App Review notes or documentation that should be provided during submission Common reasons apps are rejected for Unlisted App Distribution and how to avoid them The app does not use Apple Business Manager or Apple School Manager, and is not intended for public distribution. Thank you for your guidance.

'Certificates, IDs & Profiles' section missing from developer.apple.com
The entire 'Certificates, IDs & Profiles' section is missing from developer.apple.com portal for one of the accounts I am a developer for. The Team is also missing from the dropdowns in Xcode in Code Signing. The organization account membership is paid through July 2026, and I do not see that the Account Holder needs to sign any agreements. I am a user on other accounts, and none of them have this issue. Does anyone know what's going on?

Even though I added EULA to my application, it gets rejected for the same reason.
Hello, I have a problem regarding my App review. The issue: "Guideline 3.1.2 - Business - Payments - Subscriptions Issue Description The submission did not include all the required information for apps offering auto-renewable subscriptions. The app's metadata is missing the following required information: A functional link to the Terms of Use (EULA). If you are using the standard Apple Terms of Use (EULA), include a link to the Terms of Use in the App Description. If you are using a custom EULA, add it in App Store Connect." My explanation: I'm using Apple's original EULA in my app. The EULA was already in the "About" section. It redirects to the EULA page on Apple's official website. However, since my app also has a payment screen, I added the same information below the payment screen and submitted it for review again. Unfortunately, it's still being rejected for the same reason. I've requested a full, detailed explanation via email, but they keep sending me the same copy-and-paste message. I want to resolve this issue as soon as possible, so I decided to ask you here. Please check the screenshots and let me know what's the problem. Best regards, DryreL

Xcode 26.2: Can't submit build to external testers via TestFlight
Hi, I really need help to resolve the issue with submitting build made with 26.2 for review to release TestFlight build to external testers. I'm always getting "This build is using a beta version of Xcode and can’t be submitted". I tried everything from cleaning DerivedData to fully reinstalling Xcode and tools to 26.2. Even tried earlier Xcode release versions and after pressing Submit for review I always face the same issue. Nothing helps and I can't share my first app with volunteers to test. By Jan 6 2026, my Xcode 26.2 is up to date with App Store and in Xcode Organizer I choose App Store Connect and press Distribute.

Xcode Cloud Fails on Export: App Store Connect Authentication Error
Hello, Our Xcode Cloud builds are successfully archiving but fail every time during the "Export archive for app-store distribution" step. The issue appears to be a persistent authentication failure with App Store Connect that we are unable to resolve. Primary Error: The build logs show a critical authentication failure. IDEDistribution.critical.log shows: App Store Connect request for store configuration failed for account Session Proxy Provider... Unable to authenticate with App Store Connect. DVTITunesSoftwareService.log specifies the error is DVTITunesSoftwareServiceFoundation.DVTServicesSessionProviderCredentialITunesAuthenticationContextError.proxy. The build process eventually terminates during the IDEDistributionSymbolsStep with an Rsync failed error, which we believe is a symptom of the earlier authentication failure. Troubleshooting Already Performed: We have already taken the following steps without success: Verified the account used for the integration has "Account Holder" and "Admin" roles. Confirmed that Xcode Cloud's automatic signing is working correctly and is able to create new provisioning profiles. Thoroughly checked the App Store Connect web UI under Users and Access > Integrations > Xcode Cloud for a way to reset the connection, but no such option exists. Removed and re-added the Apple ID in the Xcode application's settings (Xcode > Settings > Accounts) on a local Mac. Our hypothesis is that the integrated authentication session between Xcode Cloud and App Store Connect is invalid or stale, and there is no user-facing way to reset it. Has anyone else encountered this "Session Proxy Provider" authentication error with Xcode Cloud? Is there a known solution or a different method to force a re-authentication of the service connection? Any guidance from Apple engineers or other developers would be greatly appreciated. Questions about macOS App Store update package generation and optimization
Hello, According to documentation, the App Store does not re-download the entire app when updating, but instead generates an update package containing only the changed content compared to the previous version. I’d like to clarify the following points: 1. Granularity of file changes If only part of a large file changes, does the update package include the entire file, or does it patch only the modified portions within that file? 2. Guideline on separating files The documentation recommends separating files that are likely to change from those that are not. How should this be interpreted in practice? 3. Verifying the diff result Is there a way for developers to check the actual diff result of the update package generated by the App Store without submitting the app? Is there a diff command tool or comparison method closer to the actual App Store update process? 4. Estimating update size during development For apps with large-scale resources, minimizing update size is critical. Are there any tools or best practices to estimate the size of the update package before submitting to the App Store? Any clarification or reference materials would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

ITMS-90555: On-Demand Resources exceed 30GB after App Thinning – Need clarification on variant size calculation
Hello, I am encountering the following error when uploading a build to App Store Connect: ITMS-90555: Thinned app size is too large – Your on-demand resources in the universal variant are 30 GB, which exceeds the maximum allowable size. After app thinning, the total size of your on-demand resource asset packs in any variant must be less than 30 GB. Our application includes a large amount of font resources delivered via ODR. Before making structural changes, I need clarification because the documentation does not fully explain how ODR size calculations work per variant. Environment Xcode: (latest stable) Distribution method: App Store submission ODR total size before thinning: approximately (28 GB) Build processing fails immediately with the ITMS-90555 error Questions How exactly does App Thinning compute the size of ODR asset packs per variant? Is ODR size evaluated: Per device-specific variant, Or is the “universal variant” treated as an additional variant that must independently stay under 30GB? The documentation mentions a 30GB limit per variant, but the universal variant error message is ambiguous. If device-specific variants are below 30GB but only the “universal variant” exceeds it, is the build still rejected? In our case: iPhone-only variants appear to be below the limit, But the universal variant exceeds 30GB due to aggregated resources. Is this expected behavior? Best practices for managing very large ODR sets (e.g., fonts) Fonts are small individually, but thousands of them produce very large ODR groups. Is there recommended guidance from Apple for: Structuring ODR bundles to avoid the universal variant exceeding the limit Segmenting ODR by device class / feature sets Any alternative packaging strategies Are there tools or logs that reveal how App Store Connect decides variant groupings and ODR size? At the moment, the failure only shows the ITMS-90555 error without further detail. Case-ID for DTS reference DTS advised submitting this question here. Case-ID: 17273913 Any clarification from Apple engineers or community members who have navigated ODR size limits would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!

Apple rejected my app ( again )
Hello everyone, few days back I posted about how apple rejected my build and now after 3 days, they replied back in a very unclear, and I am not being able to understand what they really mean by that. Context :- In my app, when the user clicked on "export" button, it should show the export options, however, if the user is not on a lifetime plan, it should open the "premium" popup / modal to allow them to purchase. Now, this modal loades project based on storekit IN app purchases I added, and locally I tested using the `.storekit` file and everything worked fine. However, before archieveing the build for app store connect, I remove the local file form "edit" scema, and I thought it should load automatically based on the IAP, because I added the IAP to the app build in the console as well. But now, apple responded with this after 3 days :- Issue Description The app exhibited one or more bugs that would negatively impact App Store users. Bug description: "Export" button brings up an empty sheet that seems like a In-App Purchase. (Please see attached screenshot) Next Steps Test the app on supported devices to identify and resolve bugs and stability issues before submitting for review. If you are unable to reproduce the bug, try the following: - For new apps, uninstall all previous versions of your app from a device, then install and follow the steps to reproduce. - For app updates, install the new version as an update to the previous version, then follow the steps to reproduce. They are saying that the premium modal is showing empty. However, what am I suppose to do here? Its working as expected, it needs to show the IAP which I already added? Can someone please guide here a bit, I am on a verge of cry, after waiting for 3 days, they replied with no clear answer and probably gonna take another week ( because of weekend tommorow ) and I am not sure what they really mean by that? This is screenshot of loaded modal and without loaded modal :-

Optimizing Conversion Rate on the App Store
A 1.69% App Store conversion rate could be due to factors like unclear value proposition, unoptimized screenshots, or lack of strong reviews. Improving visuals, refining your app description, and gathering positive ratings can help boost installs.

My explanation: I'm using Apple's original EULA in my app.

Questions about macOS App Store update package generation and optimization
