Apple-hosted asset pack statuses

The asset pack status tells you immediately whether your asset pack version needs attention. The status applies only to the version of an asset pack, not the entire app or asset pack.

A red status indicator () means that you need to perform some action.
A yellow status indicator () means that some process is ongoing, controlled either by you or by Apple.
A green status indicator () means the asset pack is ready to be tested in TestFlight or live on the App Store.

TestFlight statuses

You can view the TestFlight status of an asset pack version under the TestFlight tab in App Store Connect and in the Asset Packs section under General on the Distribution tab.

Status	Description
Awaiting Upload	You've created a new asset pack version using the App Store Connect API but haven't uploaded it yet. If you're using Transporter, iTMSTransporter, or altool, new asset pack versions are automatically created when you upload an asset pack, so the Processing status will likely display instead. If you've uploaded a version using these tools and it's stuck in the Awaiting Upload status for more than 24 hours, contact us.
Processing	Your asset pack version is still being processed. You'll receive an email notification when the version is ready. If you upload an asset pack and it remains in the Processing status for more than 24 hours, there may be an issue. To resolve the issue, contact us.
Failed	Apple received your asset pack version, but it has one or more issues and can't be tested. You'll receive an email with more details about why the delivery failed. Resolve any issues, then redeliver the asset pack.
Ready for Internal Testing	Your asset pack version is ready to be tested internally. TestFlight will automatically use this asset pack version for internal testing once you've invited testers and have a build available for testing.
Ready to Submit	You've uploaded an asset pack version to App Store Connect but haven't submitted it to TestFlight App Review.
Waiting for Review	Your asset pack version has been submitted to TestFlight App Review for external testing. It'll need to be approved before it can be tested externally.
In Review	Your asset pack version is currently being reviewed by TestFlight App Review for external testing. It'll need to be approved before it can be tested externally.
Rejected	Your asset pack version was rejected by TestFlight App Review and can no longer be tested externally. To begin external testing, upload a new version and submit it to TestFlight App Review.
Ready for External Testing	Your asset pack version is ready to be tested externally. TestFlight will automatically use this version for external testing once you've invited testers and have a build available for testing.
Superseded	A new asset pack version is being tested internally and externally in TestFlight so this version is no longer in use.

App Store statuses

You can view the App Store status of an asset pack version in the Asset Packs section under General on the Distribution tab.

Status	Description
Prepare for Submission	You've uploaded an asset pack version to App Store Connect but haven't submitted it to App Review.
Ready for Review	Your asset pack version has been added to a submission, but it hasn’t been submitted to App Review.
Waiting for Review	Apple received your submission, but hasn’t started the review.
In Review	App Review is reviewing your asset pack version. You can cancel the submission to remove it from review.
Accepted	Your asset pack version has been accepted, but there are one or more rejected items in the submission. All items in the submission must be accepted before any can be published. You can edit the rejected items and resubmit, or you can remove them from the submission. Learn how to reply to App Review messages.
Rejected	App Review didn’t accept your asset pack version. You can edit the asset pack and resubmit. Alternatively, you can remove the asset pack from the submission or cancel the submission, which will move it back to the Prepare for Submission status.
Processing for Distribution	Your asset pack version is processing and will be ready for distribution within 24 hours.
Ready for Distribution	Your asset pack version has been accepted and is ready for distribution.
Superseded	A new asset pack version is live on the App Store so this version is no longer in use.
